Easylaughs: Falling Short of Expectations

As a student eager to improve my improv skills, I signed up for a course at Easylaughs. Unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to the high expectations set by their premium prices.

First, the sessions are very overpriced for a 2-hour group sessions where you basically just get a little bit of theory and play around with each other.

The course advertised "free" access to Sunday workshops, but the reality was far from ideal. The voucher system, which only issued vouchers on Saturdays, was inconsistent. Out of 10 eligible weeks, I missed 5 due to full workshops, missing vouchers, or last-minute cancellations.

Despite politely complaining and suggesting solutions multiple times, the management eventually stopped responding. This lack of communication was incredibly frustrating.

Additionally, the video recording of our performance, which we were excited to receive, was of poor quality and missing segments. For the high price we paid, we expected a much more professional experience.

Entertaining shows, great courses, awesome drop in workshops. They create a great community. A good place to be for expats and anyone who wants to be more confident in stage or in front of a group of people.

I took the standup class by Peter More. It was awesome. The difference between starting the class and the final performance was like night and day. I learned a lot in a fun and positive environment. A++
