Great place. My 4 year old Grandson was fascinated the 5 hrs we spent there and wants to go back soon. Thats good enough for me :-)

This is a great place to visit with children. It is clearly designed with a lot of thought. However it would greatly benefit from better planing during big events in order to avoid long waiting times. Also it would be good if they could offer healthy food and drink vendors.

It was adorable. Become a child or bring them here.

I brought my grandchildren (boy 8, girl 11) to this wonderfully engaging, enlightening, inspiring, and totally fun science and tech center. They wanted to try everything and both really enjoyed filming themselves in the amazing studio where they were the weather reporter of the moment. Me, I like the rooftop garden. :-) Anyone, any age can have a great time here.

Huge fan of butterflies.. was an absolute treat to end my visit with nature! Gift shop is amazing. It's a nice comfortable flow with amazing displays!

Had hands on stuff fun for kids. Butterfly exhibit was a waste of money.

The CT Science Center is excellent on many levels...Six exactly. The different exhibits they offer are for a wide variety of ages and they switch things out frequently enough that you never feel like it's an old hat. We were gifted a membership and it's one of the greatest gifts we could have ever received. Certainly one of Hartford's shining stars.

Very kid friendly, lots to explore and interact with.

If you can make it past the water park with toddler, then you're in for a treat! Lol So many site and exhibits to keep curiosity peeked aaaall day long.

I paid for parking $7 not bad, theres only 3 levels of fun also the butterfly encounter can't touch the butterflys and all the plants they have there just yo let you guys know beside that everything is is really fun for adults and all kids

Family always enjoys a visit here. Lots of hands on activities to make learning about science fun. Special exhibit is changed regularly and adds varying levels of interest.

Awesome experiments, lots for kids to do. Packed during the summer and slightly smelled at places like kids missed the bathroom line.

Great place to bring the whole family with kind and helpful staff who are generally knowledgable about the information. Really love coming here!

It's deffinetly for kids not adults we thought it was an actual museum but it's more interacting for the kids. The movies are cool tho

It was interesting and fun, my only negative thing was once you pay to get in if you wanted to see other sites it cost more money. However if you make it a trip frequently then get the membership it is worth the mula.

Great place, so many exhibits. There are so many that it's almost impossible to see all of them in one visit. My favorite thing was the mind game where two people sit down and put on special headbands and they have a table in front of them and there is a ball on the table in a glass tube and whoever is more calm the ball goes away from his side whoever gets the ball to go to the other person's side first wins. I played my mom and I won her, (she won me the first time but whatever ) definitely recommend this for a family trip.

Great place for kids. It is necessary to come to the opening and for the whole day.

I love museums and this place is wonderful. I was like a little kid in this place. The staff is amazing and service was great.

A wonderful place for discovering scientific concepts with a gorgeous facility and great service; all in all, it's a fun place to bring family and friends to. The building that it's located in in Hartford is extremely modern and well-designed, and it is always kept nice and clean. All the staff there is very nice and helpful, and you can definitely notice a lot less stress than you might experience at a place with snappier people. The exhibits are also nice. My only concern with them is that they aren't quite as hands-on as some museums, but there's still quite a few that are. While the CT Science Center is definitely intended for children, it's by no means an inappropriate place for older kids and adults. I definitely recommend it!

Went just for the bodies exhibit but it was disappointing after having seen the full exhibit in new York York the rest of the museum was great. Lots of hands on exhibits the children can interact with. Kids had a great time. A bit expensive but still manageable.

Great resource for curious kids. I appreciate that so much of the content is hands-on. The mechanical items and technology pieces were all in working order, which is surely no small feat. There's content that caters to a wide variety of learners and great explanations for some of the more complicated exhibits.

Enjoy the liquid lounges and cannabis education events. Fun times.

1/3 of the exhibits are closed. They kept harassing my son about his mask.. he s 3. Rude staff & absolutely waste of money since so many of things weren t available for the kids.

Great Family events, And the so much to see and do! When you step off the elevator The Adventure Begins ,Stimulating the sensors of the Children as well as the adults!! One whole day isn't enough time to explore this wonderful place! The staff is amazing! My 1st trip made me want to get the awesome deal of Membership which is TAX! DEDUCTIBLE AND PAID FOR within my 2nd visit! Now that's value and my grandchildren have the time of there lives!!! Love exploring in my own Backyardl!Can't wait for. The next Trip of knowledge and totally awesome exhibits.

We love this place, been going for the past three years and we're current members. (Ages 6,6, & 9) We're here at least 12 times a year at least an hour or two each time, sometimes more. Plenty to do, exhibits rotate in certain areas every 3 to 4 months. I definitely recommend this for first timers, residents, and passers through.

Bring your lunch or grab Subway in the lobby. Lockers available for 2 quarters. Very accessible, open areas, restrooms on every floor.

Keep an eye out for regular adult happenings, membership gives you a discount on those events and parking too!

Great place for fun and science. We cannot cover this in one day. Has 6 floors of eye candy for all the geeks and kids out there. Has a laser harp which is fun. A parachute which kids can drive. Lots of button based life size toys. Has a roof top garden with a cute dino which makes for a good photo opportunity. Has a gift shop with all the geek stuff and stuffed toys.

Awesome time. Large water play area for little kids. Might want to pack an extra set of clothes if they will be doing that. There are aprons for the kids, but they aways seem to find a way to get wet.

Give it 4 stars for a local science center, easy parking, park on the high floors, less people park up there, good stuff to keep kids going, try Boston for an even better science center.

This was one of the better science centers that I have bed too and I really enjoyed my time here.

Awesome fun place to spend the better part of the afternoon.

My kids love it. Not so much fun for kids under 8 though as most exhibits are for slightly older children. No complaints though (other than I wish parking was free).

Wonderful place to visit, events can tend to be crowded. But my children have a blast no matter how busy it is.

Very fun place for kids to explore. My kids learned alot and really enjoyed coming here.

What a great place to take the kids! There is so much for them to touch and do. There is also a live butterfly garden, small but very nice. They have a great water play area but be prepared with extra clothes to change them into when done. Don't forget to bring extra shoe's for the water play area. We normally do water play last. The membership gets you $5 parking, discount's around the area and you can bring guest's as long as one of the primary members is there.

Great educational place. Exhibits are always changing!! Can be used as a tax write off.

Awesome place for kids and adults, lot of fun activities, exhibitions and lot to explore and learn for everyone. The newly added live shows and real body exhibition experience was amazing.

Not worth at all for the money! Seeing their website i thought there are many activities for kids and even took a yearly membership. But Not much for kids. not atleast for a child 6 and younger. Just the water area is fun. Waste of money. Within an hour of taking membership when I realised there is not much option, i asked for a refund but they clearly declined. They could have atleast helped me by deducting ticket amount out of the membership but they didn't. Very unsatisfied. Never had this experience before

A large variety of exhibits, so there is something for everyone. The environment is great and there is much to see... Definitely a 5

Great time, lots of different activities and things to see. Definitely get the VIP tix.

Very disappointed with my visit today. Only a couple of exhibits were available and many artifacts within them were closed to the public.
The food court and gift shop were closed.
If you bother to actually check body temperature at the entrance you might as well have the full museum experience available.

We loved it and will be going back again. The kids had a blast. We spent a few hours and not a dull moment. We watched the 3D movie. Everything was clean and neat. A bit pricey on the fees but expected at a place like this. Overall we had a wonderful experience and learned a few things.

Love the CT science center! There is working much to do for the little ones

went here many times in my Middle school years . Came back last year with my then 9 year old brother and it was great . they will phase out some exhibits but more poplar ones stay . had a great time with my brother
