Connecticut Insurance Department Review

I've called 3 time today to check on the status of my license. I get its the day after the superbowl, but fact that I can't even get an update because no one wants to pick up the phone is just beyond unprofessional.

Always a pleasure dealing with CT Insurance Department. 3-D Bail Bonds respects and appreciates the job this department does processing license application and renewals. They are usually done in an efficient manner. They are truly professional at what they do.

I provided the exact telephone conversation I had with an insurance representative, telling me that my son would be covered by his pediatrician for the first 60 days. (Dependent of a dependent) I scheduled an appointment with his pediatrician when he was weeks old because I was told that my son would be covered. I was told months after that he was not covered. I went through 2 appeals that were denied. My last resort was contacting the state of Connecticut insurance dept. I provided them with all of the information they would need, including the comm event number. They failed to look into the comm event (My conversation with the representative that specifically told me my son would be covered).

I would have given this website zero stars, had that been possible. Without boring you with the details, it sufficez to say that I have seldom, if ever, been so subjected to the runaround. The phones are never answered by anyone, the online robot cuts one off repeatedly every time it is asked a question, and none of the offices are open to allow for meeting with a live person. Finally, when one leaves a voicemail asking for a return phone call from a live person, no one ever calls back. I suspect there really are no live people working at the Connecticut Department of Labor. But I'll bet quite a few are collecting their paychecks!
