My father has been taking a treatment for 1.5 weeks and I'm accompanying him. All the staff working here including nurses and doctors are very friendly and always informative, they are paying their upmost attention to patients including my father.. The hospital is also very clean and hygienic. Thank you for all the employees again and wish best for all patients in their stay here.
Cut my finger by accident 5 stiches. Coney Island hospital emergency care services attend my injuries in a quick & comforting manor. Very nice to see this hospital making many renovations & improvements.
Went in today to get a Covid test and the staff was absolutely wonderful. It made things so easy when every other place I went made it extremely difficult. The staff was kind efficient and helpful. Thank you so much for making this experience easy on me!
VERY LONG WAITING TIMES at the Coney Island Hospital Dental Clinic. Our friend didn't get in to see the dentist until more than 2 hours AFTER her scheduled 1PM appointment time. A young lady we met in the waiting room told us she still had not been called for her 10 AM appointment (she did eventually get called - well over 3 HOURS AFTER her scheduled appointment time). We already paid $1,300 for our friend's dental implant procedure (which is not covered by insurance) - although when she finally did get in to see the doctor, she was told to come back in two weeks. At this point, I can't help but wonder if we shouldn't try to get a refund of the payment and go elsewhere for the procedure.....
We have been visiting Coney Island Hospital for four months now, had two surgeries and numerous procedures done. We can say with certainty that doctors and nurses are professional and some are truly caring. When it comes to the hospital servicing people and especially the hospital police staff, they are absolutely rude, obnoxious and very demeaning and ruining the good impression of the hospital. We can tell that Coney Island hospital has changed for the better and its image improving. There are so many good caring people here who is trying hard to help patients and give the best care and make this place better. We just hope the administration will look into training the security and the hospital police to upgrade their work. The non-working elevators is another big issue, but we assume it will change once the new building becomes functional. Hoping for the best as we are grateful for our doctors and nurses in Coney Island Hospital. Thank you for your hard work.
Amazing hospital. Everyone is super attentive and caring. There s minimum or no wait when going to obi/gyn or pediatrics by appointment. Emergency room is very accommodating. Financial department is understanding and will make your insurance work for you. MyChart application made it so easy to set up/cancel appointment and pay my bill, or view test results directly from the lab. I m very happy with the services and care received at coney island hospital.
I want to say thank you to the Pharmacy And Staff member Julia for assisting me over the phone with my A problem . My mother needed her Diabetes medication and couldn't afford to pay her copay. I called the pharmacy to see if i could Pa
My grandma went to the emergency room and it took them 48 hours to admit her into a room. It took the doctors over 24 hours to diagnose my grandma and provide me with information on what the issue is but not precise enough. One of the receptionist at the Emergency Room waiting area was extremely useless where she didn't want to help us get in touch with the doctor because it has been over 5 hours since we heard from the doctor and we asked nicely if she could help us get in touch with the doctor but she was completely useless, she wouldn't even lift a finger to call the doctor to see if they are available to speak with me. I won't mind if she called and the doctor is busy but she didn't even bother trying to help. The doctor that was in charge of my grandma wasn't professional at all, when I finally got the chance to speak to her over the phone she provided me with some information but not precise information so when the chance came for me to speak to her in person she spoke to me in an attitude when I asked if she can inform me again about my grandma's situation and she responded me with "I already told you over the phone." As one of her patient's family member I believe I have total right of asking the question more than once especially when it comes to any type of health concerns. You're here to help but at the same time I would appreciate it if you can provide us with your best effort. I didn't even want to give a rating honestly because it is wasting my time to do so but I want other people to know what poor service this hospital provides. I am never going to recommend this hospital to anyone. Lack of communication, bad staff attitudes, not efficient, slow. There is a reason when it is the emergency room where people work fast as possible to help patients but in this case this emergency room is worse than all the clinics I know of. The doctor is lucky I didn't put her name on the review.
I'm unsure as to why this hospital has a bad reputation. I went went here after being physically assaulted with a weapon by a weirdo on the street. Everyone was extremely nice, caring, and attentive to my needs. I needed a few facial X-Rays done to assess the damage....it was done quickly and very well. The technician was a very kind, easygoing, and efficient. They provided quick and efficent care that led up to a very short stay and quick discharge. I came into the hospital drenched in my own blood, left well taken care of
