Condado Plaza Hilton Review

Went here with a special friend to visualize the area.
The front desk clerk was an exceptional character with complete knowledge of overall information of this hotel.
Gave us permission to do a walk tour through the area and my God this place is beautiful, the swimming pools are spectacular, everything is so clean, there is very good security, the Atlantic ocean is right there, a small beach (Playita del Condado), got to take a dip there, you'll love it!

Horrible hotel. Bad service. "24 hour" dennys closed when they don't feel like working. They made excuse about gas problems when it gets too busy. Stay at Hilton caribe. My biggest mistake was staying here. Read the rest of the reviews to confirm my dismay.

Good location, bad security I saw a taxi driver trying to break an uber car windows and the taxi drivers screaming and acting like gangsters. I had to walk to paseo caribe to get uber.

Beautiful hotel, beautiful rooms, definitely clean, numerous restaurants, in-house night club, in-house shopping, connected to beach, spa, numerous pools, reasonable pricing considering amenities, and walking distance to outside dining, pharmacy, shops, casinos, etc.

Great property. They don't do anything special for gold or diamond members. Beach is smallish and rocky. Everything expensive even the "free" breakfast. Lots of competition in the area, not sure if they are trying hard enough. Please click 'like' if you like my reviews...

I was here for a meeting and the conference rooms are great, excellent lunches, and the staff is extremely courtesy. Ken Roman was extremely helpful and made our stay extremely enjoyable. Thank you Ken!

We booked a room with our military discount. I guess military discounts mean no service, we had to bring our own luggage to our room and We did not get room service/ housekeeping in the 3 days we stayed with them! According to the front desk when i booked the room it did come with housekeeping?! I have never had this problem, its extremely disappointing... my husband had to go to the front desk to ask for towels and other necessities. It was a nice room but terrible experience.!!

The stay was great, but reconsider the money they put on hold. My money was unfortunately put on hold for 30 days. I tried to called customer service of puerto rico but i was redirected with moody americans. They had me back and forth to try and resolve my issue... I ended up talking with a lady who was in charge of the fundings and she wasn't polite she just straight up told me that they dont put dates to take off your hold and that i had to resolve it only with my bank. When my bank told me to comunicate with them and try to get a document that could certify that i didn't had to wait more than 5 to 7 business days so they could return the fundings on the card. It is not my bank that's holding my money for 30 days they just haven't recieve the fundings from the hotel yet. And they don't was to resolve my issue where talking about hundreds. Im never staying back and it's not the people of puerto ricos fault.

I really like this place, cafe Caribe is excellent, there's a danny's, access to the beach, the aqua bar needs to be a little better service, you can use the facilities while you wait for a room, wifi service is really bad, and the bathroom are nice.

It's been a perfect first visit to Puerto Rico. This hotel is close to everything. Offers many activities to partake.

We loved a little Cafe Caribe. Came back 10 minutes before its closing. They cooked our meal; offered great service, and directed us to a nice, local beach.

The bar is very nice and fully stocked! Staff was very polite and sociable!

Nice hotel with nice pool area and a little beach. Food is overpriced and breakfast was not very good at the hotel. Rather go to the attached Dennys.

Hotel is doing all they can to accommodate all the disaster workers here.

We had many surprises when getting into our room. First we found diapers (not used thank god) in a drawer along with smashed starburst and hair ties. Later we found spoil milk spilled in the fridge with a terrible smell. The tables were not wiped down as you can see many cup stains. When I first mentioned to the front desk after checking in that the room wasn t cleaned in months the reply I received was that guest check in weekly to the rooms....in the evening after I found the bad smell of spoiled milk in the fridge housekeeping was great and redid the entire room. I was happy that at least someone in the hotel cared for the guest

It does not even work for a night. Dirty facilities abandoned, pool bar only has hotdogs and supermarket hamburger. Zero nightly entertainment. And the beers and drinks are not bought by anyone.

My opinion, do not stay

Very good atmosphere, stunning view of the sea. The exquisite food.

The location boast a no resort fee. Upon checkout you will find what they didn t advertise and that is that they charge a resort tax that is equal to a resort fee. Gotcha moment. This hotel is struggling to stay open. Elevator to parking garage broken, escalator from mezzanine to main floor broken, mattress is similar to sleeping on a queen size sponge. Front desk staff are available sometime, no need to call the hotel as most calls go to voice mail.

I was booked here for a month but decided to switch hotels after 1 night.

I had no hot water.
The WiFi was weak enough that it was unusable.
The parking permit system was buggy and didn't always let you out.
The breakfast was not great for not being complimentary.

On a positive note, the balcony was nice and the staff were very friendly.

Unfortunately this location does not live up to the minimum standards that I expect of the Hilton brand. I was surprised... and not in a good way.

An amazing hotel with a very luxurious feel to it! We love how you can hear to Coqui as you approach the hotel. Makes you feel like you are in El Yunqiue Rain forest right in the heart of downtown!

The Junior Suite we got was far away from the elevators, so lots of room and very little guest noise. We have a small balcony, and it's nice to get some "fresh air" and sunshine. Hotel food is expensive - but there's a Dennys here in the hotel! Staff has all been courteous and professional.

Stayed for two nights at the end of our visit to San Juan. It had a colder feel compared to other local hotels. We are Hilton Honors members, and additional fees on our statement surprised us (we purchased nothing in the hotel) and we asked to have them waived without success. When we told the man at the desk that we would not be returning, he said "That is your prerogative."

We spent nearly $600 for two nights in a room there and left feeling as though our business was not appreciated and that our otherwise perfect visit to Puerto Rico was slightly tarnished. That aside, Puerto Rico is a glorious place with wonderful people... I suggest trying a local independent hotel to find a warmer, less "corporate" experience...

Not what I expected from the Hilton in the service department.

Everything looks nice. Everything clean and very good service.

Stayed at this property prior to our cruise departure and had an amazing luxurious relaxing time and wish we had a longer stay. The nightclub was posh and fun. The pools and beach access are picturesque. Plenty of dining and entertainment options are on site and b I loves the lagoon activities available.

This wasn t a bad hotel. Real close to lots of stuff. Staff seems friendly. Their is a Denny s on the first floor. They peeps were cool too.

I only stayed one night, but I liked the view of the ocean and I liked the bed. So pretty good

It is very destroyed, after the hurricane!
In addition to being also deteriorated! To go on vacation I do not recommend it!

Resort Under Construction (please ignore "hate" classification )

I really liked this hotel. I was here for work. The pool is great and near interesting places to eat.

Bit dated. Needs a lot of money spending on it to bring it up to the level of the Concha or the Vanderbilt.

Hotel staff is good and attentive but the rooms and facilities need a major improvement. That was before Maria destroyed the island. The hotel is now closed so hopefully they are upgrading the rooms.

The room was spacious, bathroom big and updated. Balcony big with a breathtaking view! Staff members were all polite and helpful! All of them!

Good locaation, great facilities, mediocre rooms! Our room's air conditioning never worked. Noise coming from hallways can get very annoying especially at night.

Update 3: the chair on the patio just broke and about killed me.

Update 2: The AC unit is the cause of the leaks and a huge bubble of water has formed in my room between the paint and wall.

Update: I woke up this morning to a dripping sound and the roof inside the bathroom was leaking, the refrigerator was leaking and the sink had water in it cause it couldn t drain properly.

Stop unplugging your refrigerator s. Also my clock was unplugged. If housekeeping can t plug in a clock, what else do they not do while cleaning the rooms. Plus the internet is not strong enough to connect in my room. Some of us don t have unlimited data and like to have the internet, a common necessity in today s world.

The hotel is still currently undergoing renovation, however, the staff is amazing to work with. Nice sized rooms, great pools with a bar and direct access to a beach. I'd definitely recommend.

The beach by the hotel could but better, but the rooms are clean. It does seem to be a little bit of a walk from all of the restaurants and other resorts.

Not recovered from 2017 Storm, Beach area still closed, room phones doesn't work.

I stayed in the building across the main hotel building. It was great. The private balcony, the restaurants, and the multiple pools, one which had a wet bar and slide were amazing. It's close to the bacardi factory and several other tourist activities. It has its own small private beach
