Great job on our new driveway and walk. The finished product is beautiful. Lance kept us up to date as the installation had to change by a few days due to the weather. We love the work Concrete Science did for us here in Plymouth.

My husband and I love Concrete Science. About 8 years ago we did the DIY version of an epoxy floor in our garage and it was a considerable amount of work in prepping to putting down the epoxy and it looked nice for maybe a year or so. We've redone it once since then and for the last 2 years the floor has looked terrible. We decided we were going to spend the money to have it done professionally this spring. We did some online research and obtained a few quotes. Chase's straight forward and professional response to our questions sold us on Concrete Science. Christian and Marco did our floor. Both wonderful and extremely professional, Christian explained the steps that would take place and how long each step would take. They did an AMAZING job on our floor!! It is so easy to clean - I love that part. We had one small issue with our concrete (not the epoxy or the job that had been done) and I asked if they would come out and look at it sometime this summer when they were in the area. Matt came out the next week and evaluated the issue and gave us a couple of options. Ryan was out shortly after that to administer the solution we chose. Again note that the issue was not the epoxy or the application. They wanted to make sure we were 100% happy with our floor. My husband and I have used many service companies over the years. I don't believe we have ever been so happy with a company!! From beginning to end a GREAT experience. I wish we had gone this route 8 years ago! Thank you to Chase, Matt, Christian, Marco and Ryan!! These folks are excellent! I saw their phone number on their van, called, had a person onsite a few days later, an estimate the next day and people onsite doing the work a week later! They transformed our garage concrete into an awesome floor; and the price was reasonable!

Beware! My family and I contracted this company to do a simple job on a small sidewalk and front porch resurface. We also contracted with them to coat the garage. The 2 man team consisting of 1 tech and a new helper came to our home to start the job. The crew did not protect our landscaping stone and plants with plastic which of course lead to the crew spilling concrete resurfacer all over the river, edging and plants. It burned the grass in mulitple spots and zero attempt was made to clean it. The tech spent most of his time training and not working with the product that sets up in minutes leading to a horrible application and overall bad job. You would need to see my photos to believe it. That same day I sent a text to the installation manager who set a appointment for the next day with a field supervisor. When the representatives showed they agreed that the job was terrible and scheduled for the supervisor and two techs to rework the entire project from scratch and guaranteed a much more consistent result. To my wife and I disappointment, the result ended the exact same way. The supervisor started going back over the product overworking it and creating mismatched patches and areas that look like large repairs around our columns and other surface areas. I reached out to the owner that in the company's book given to clients has a page from the owner that says to contact him directly with any comments or concerns. This plays a major role in what happens next. I left him a voicemail with no return call so I drove to there office to discuss the next day and shown Mr.Hicks photos and request that he come by to look personally. He seemed very concerned because he was not aware that his team has now had to work my contract twice and wanted to see what was going on. A appointment was set for the next day between 10-12 noon. I received a text by Mr. Hicks apologizing because he needed to cancel and come out the next day ( keep in mind I am a 12 minute drive frome there office ) I let him know my family and I had to leave by 10am and if that did not work Monday any time would be fine. Mr. Hicks then deflected by not scheduling any day or time but would have his warranty manager schedule with us whenever he returned from Pennsylvania. We let him know this wasn't going to work and this was not a warranty issue, this was a quality issue. My wife then posted a review of the experience we have had with a company who was paid in full for the sidewalk and porch upfront with a deposit for the garage and that prompted a text to my phone of pure anger from Mr. Hicks. I have copied and pasted this next part from Mr.Hicks so that way nothing is altered .." On May 27, Jason David Gnoza, 42, of St. Michael, was arrested in Hennepin County on the charge of domestic assault.Take the google post down or this goes up. Tired of people not paying for good work. 509 jobs so far and you are the only problem. "

I invite ANYONE who wishes to see the work themselves to contact me direct through this post or other avenues as well as the REAL text history initiated by Mr. Hicks and how we professionally and politely asked after the failed second attempt to please look himself. THE MAN HAS BEEN PAID IN FULL FOR THE JOB! Mr. Hicks has no clue what the company has done to our brand new house because he cant be bothered. As for his personal attacks to my family and I if that doesnt show how low someone can go I dont know what it would take. He has never been threatened by me or my family and neither has a single company employee I HAVE BOTH INSTALLATIONS ON MY SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM AND CAN SHOW ANYBODY. This guy needs to be exposed for what he does do clients. I am a contractor, a consumer and a human who like most makes mistakes. REAL integrity begins with owning our mistakes and not blaming others for why we cant do better. This is a skill sadly Mr.Hicks does not have. I and my family will expose ourselves to anyone who needs to know so to Mr.Hicks or people like him I say grow up and come look

Every staff member we encountered was helpful, pleasant to work with, made sure we were satisfied and took pride in their work. Our finished product is stunning and far exceeded our expectations. We selected Concrete Science to replace our old, crumbling, asphalt driveway. We were contacted ahead of time to let us know when they would begin and they arrived exactly when they said they would. They were responsive to questions and took care of any issues we had, without hassle! We had Concrete Science complete a basement metallic epoxy project in our home, refinishing a 40+ year old concrete slab with new top. These guys are very easy to work with and upfront with pricing. The project was completed on-schedule, and I had easy access via cell to the on-site manager and the crew s foreman for any questions that came up during the installation process.

The end result looks fantastic, resulting in a one-of-a-kind surface that will hold up for years. The workers were employees (not subs), and they took great pride in ensuring they delivered a great end result. They'll be my first call for any future concrete or top coat work that I have in the future.

We have a 3 stall garage, and workshop that needed coating. I was thinking of "doing it myself". Visited the Concrete Science showroom in Corcoran, was assured the job would be done right, by trained workers. I got to pick out (with the wife's help) the perfect color chip blend.
I OKed the work, they put me on the schedule. The crew showed up on time, on the day they promised. I learned, there is ALOT of prep that needs to be done. With the proper equipment, the crew of 4 guys, prepped the surface the first (long) day. The second day, 5 guys applied the base, and chips. The third day, the crew applied the clear coat. Very labor intensive. The crew was easy to work with, were detailed, and did a wonderful job! it looks much better than I could have done.

Concrete Science did a great job on replacing my old asphalt driveway with a new concrete driveway. The crews that took out, replaced and sealed the new driveway were all great to work with and really helped with some options when we ran into a glitch where the patio met the driveway. They were all very patient with my questions and i would recommend Concrete Science to anyone wantong concrete work done.

I called this company and received a relatively prompt call back after leaving a message. I spoke with representative Jason. He came to our house to look at an acid staining job that wasn't going well. He knew this work had been done by another contractor but was still willing to spend time discussing options on how to correct the problem all the while knowing we might not be hiring his company to do the work. He gave me many tips and ideas and spent 45 minutes with us. The most important thing I learned was the guys who pour the cement are not necessarily the best ones to do the coloring/stamping art part of the concrete. At concrete science they have separate work forces for each process. I would trust these guys in a minute to the work.

I worked with Concrete Science on 2 projects - an epoxy coating for my garage floor and also a concrete patio. From the start to finish, this company exceeded my expectations. The crews were very professional in their work, even doing a great job cleaning up. I am very happy with both projects.

Contacted Concrete Science from neighbor recommendations after I had already received three similar cost estimates from companies I found at the Home Show. The Concrete Science estimate came in several hundred less than the others and Salesperson Jason really knows his business. Before committing he convinced me to visit their business in Hamel. Found a well established business and showroom with all products on display. My garage floor was completed in two days as had been promised. The transformation from my new bare garage floor was amazing and at the least cost of four estimates. Highly recommend to give them a call and let the company convince you they're the company to trust with your garage floor.

Everybody in the entire process was a consummate professional. The products and methods they used were top notch and the formulation is designed for the Midwest and salt exposure (polyurea/polyaspartic combo). I truly they believed they extended the life of my 34 year old concrete pad and the esthetic of it all turned out way beyond my expectations (I did pure white). Preston and Junior are impressive and expert craftsman at their trade. They made the whole process look easy, despite being a seemingly huge amount of effort and were willing to answer all of my questions as they went through the various steps.

I was considering doing this myself as I had done a few floors in the past with Sherwin Williams product and the typical etching process (turned out ok). The process Concrete Science uses (especially the grinding and epoxy filling in the preparation) goes miles beyond any "DIY" process and is out of reach for any homeowner.

I can say it was worth every penny to have a professional do this and I would hands-down recommend you call Concrete Science. You won't regret it!!!

I can't express how amazing it was to work through concrete science. Not only did they achieve their goals as great installers but their communication skills were amazing. High quality work and amazing product. It was very convenient how they were able to install my epoxy floor within one day from start to finish. My floor had really bad damage and they were able to get rid of all the holes and cracks my concrete had in it. MY FLOOR LOOKS BRAND NEW AND ALL THE DAMAGE IS GONE!!! If you are looking for quality service from start to finish, look no further! These guys are professionals and follow through with EVERY detail. They did a new driveway steps, plus cap over my old sealed well. The job was amazing from the start. Once we got some heavy rain, I observed pooling in the driveway, even though the job was done level and the driveway was beautiful. When I called about this, Kerry came out THAT DAY to see it and get the ball rolling on a solution. Lance stepped in and followed up. Once they discussed their options (to no fault of theirs, my garages are lower than the street, and the street has issues of its own!), they decided their only option to make it right would be a total repalcement, at no cost to me! They have now done this second pour, and made some corrections. The result is fantastic. I am very pleased. Really, how many companies would do this! They are great to work with, have quality employees and do amazing work.

In the past couple of years we had a new patio and driveway installed by Concrete Science. It was a pleasure to work with everyone that we came into contact from the company. They were all professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.

On referral from pool contractor, Concrete Science poured a $16,000. pool deck. Crew was great, pool deck had 3 cracks, largest was 3' but did "repair", hope it lasts. Unfortunately, concrete splatter got on a 2017 vehicle (3 years old), after 2 weeks they finally sent to detail shop for 2 days. Removed most concrete, left behind many squiggly scratches where cement was. Concrete Science's owner stated " cars get scratches and yours already has some anyways" my point is I hired them to pour a pool deck not damage my property. To buff scratches out would seriously be less than a couple hundred dollars, shady business by not correcting damage directly caused from their services. I now canceled another $6000 in services to epoxy coat my garage floors since they have proven to me to be irresponsible, untrustworthy and simply unprofessional.

The team from Concrete Science did an outstanding job upgrading my garage floor, side walls and garage steps with a poly type finish. The garage had a salt damaged floor, side walls and a few minor cracks. Luis and Davrin did the primary work on the floor. I appreciated their professional knowledge and efficient time they spent making the improvements. The project turned out great! It was done on schedule. Several others from Concrete Science were also involved - and they all did excellent jobs communicating and setting expectations for the results. 15 years ago this company put in my concrete driveway, and did an excellent job. I remembered their name, but did not know they worked on garage floor upgrades till recently- so I was glad to be a return customer when I discovered they could also coat my garage floor to make it look new again. I highly recommend this company.

We used Concrete Science for new flooring in our garage. It looks amazing and the staff was great to work with. Timely with their information, thorough with their information/quotes and did a great job cleaning up afterwards. Concrete Science has performed 3 separate projects for us over the past few years and completed them on time, professionally with quality workmanship. The projects include a backyard patio, a garage floor foundation repair and an epoxy garage floor coating. CS employees have all been friendly, courteous and willing to answer any and all customer questions. It's clear that they care about their customers and want them to be satisfied and happy with the finished product.

This will be my second review for Concrete Science . Their work for me has been twofold. First with foundation work and a driveway and now with a very complex set of architectural walls for formal gardens , an orchard and terracing . I have been so very pleased. We have fought an early frost from last fall and rain this spring but the project is finally coming to a close. My wife and I had Concrete Science install 3 concrete patios, walking paths, and two stairways - all made with patterned concrete in the summer of 2000 and renovated in 2014. Every 3 years since the initial installation, we have had the surfaces pressure washed and sealed by Concrete Science. I never cease to be amazed how great the surfaces look after the work gets done. All of the dirt and grime where puddling occurs is washed away and the color of the patterned concrete is restored! It looks absolutely beautiful! Here is a picture from earlier today.

Concrete Science exceeded my expectations. I hired them to redo my garage floor and pool deck. Both crews were specialized and true craftsmen. The paid attention to the details and they have a customer service attitude. They followed up to make sure everything was right, which it was. I am very pleased with the creative aspect too - I had them create a custom border around my pool and it is beautiful. We had a path to our pool that looked weather worn compared to the new pool deck and they sealed that for us too - again, going the extra mile, at no cost. They suggested it, and I am glad they did as it brought it back to life. Easy 5 stars - and I will refer friends and neighbors as well.

We hadn't cleaned or sealed our concrete driveway and sidewalk for more than 10 years, but Concrete Science was able to clean off all of the rust stains from our hard water sprinklers and seal it. It looks fantastic, and now the rain just puddles and rolls right off. They showed up as scheduled and finished in just one day. I highly recommend Concrete Science!

The Concrete Science crew arrived right on time for our garage floor project. The two-man team was very professional, nice, and thoroughly walked us through the entire process for that day. Work was done quicker than anticipated, and the quality was great. They even masked off our garage entry door to minimize dust and smell throughout the day. At the end, they went over all do's/dont's of our new floor, and even provided pdf documentation about their warranty and cleaning instructions. Overall a very positive experience and highly recommend Concrete Science.

Having managed many projects, I chose Concrete Science not because they were the lowest bid but because I knew they would stand by their product and I was confident they would meet my high expectations for a quality finish. I am extremely glad I made the decision I did. When complications arose with multiple contractors and timelines in play, Concrete Science ensured the end product would last and be a proud focal point of the end results. I would gladly use them again and insist on Concrete Science for any large project.

They resurfaced our stamped concrete patio- clean, efficient, on time, and it looks great!

Not only do these guys know their stuff, they do it all. Some companies that gave us a bid on an epoxy garage floor did the epoxy portion, but hired subs to repair and prep the concrete. Concrete Science repaired the cracks and leveled the concrete in our garage, then applied an epoxy coating (they have a fantastic selection even giving my wife her extra sparkles) and stained our concrete pad to match our driveway. They also have a concern for safety. We were concerned that the floor may be slippery from the coating, but they assured us that safety is a major concern with them and will add grit when necessary to ensure that surfaces are not dangerous when they get wet. Our floor is safer now than it was before we had this done. We are VERY happy with our new floor.

I am shocked by the positive reviews for Concrete Science, because our experience was not very positive. They were recommended to us by the company that installed our pool and we now regret not doing more shopping around as our $11k concrete pool deck looks worse than a city sidewalk. It s less than three months old and has cracks, chunks coming off of edges, and imperfections in texture and color all throughout. And the only solution to all those issues they were willing to give us was to put a coating on top of it, which would not fix any of the cracks or missing chunks and would make it slippery for pool use. I also spent hours scraping concrete off the side of our house after the job was completed. Not satisfied at all and do not recommend.

Excellent work at a competitive price! They were ahead of schedule and everyone was really professional. They even came a couple days after the project was completed and fixed our front sidewalk stairs without asking about it. Couldn't be happier, would hire again.

The first thing that comes to my mind is WOW! We just had our concrete garage floor treated with an epoxy coating by concrete science. It turned out beautiful! The entire process was absolutely flawless. I originally called to get an estimate along with a few others earlier this spring. I was originally skeptical of the value of adding a coating to the floor. The rep personally came to my residence and was on time. He was very knowledgeable about the product and the process... He answered all my questions without putting the high pressure sales tactics. After making the decision to move forward, we met at their showroom where I was able to see all the color options and choices. Again, I didn t feel any pressure as to what product to go with. The installers showed up and were very polite and punctual. They arrived at exactly 8 am. They completed the job just before 3pm. The job was flawless. They calked the entire perimeter and everything was perfect right down to where my laundry tub met the concrete. Everything was laser precise. Upon completion, the installers explained when it will be ready to be driven on and how to care for it. My only regret is that I couldn t afford to have my front concrete porch coated... That will be next year. I will probably be leaving my garage open a bit more so that I can show off to my neighbors!

From the moment we reached out, to the completion of our project, Concrete Science delivered excellent results and customer service. Last spring Kerry Hicks came out and bid a driveway and sidewalk for my family in Plymouth. The crews were extremely polite and the driveway came out looking fantastic. I will refer them to my neighbors!

This Service came out last year to consult about patio. April they came out within weeks they started our patio. Very fast and well done service. They even made a way to have my gutter extension not be a walk hazard. Everyone was very friendly. Even then Packer fan , whom my wife says is the correct team. Man that s wrong. A truly stand up company. My garage floor was in shambles 2 years ago and I was referred to these guys. They were great about the install and their pricing. Unfortunately recently we had some issues with the floor coating. I called and immediately got someone who seemed honestly concerned and a few days later they were out to inspect it. After getting it looked at I realized the problem was a bit bigger than I had noticed initially. He assured me that they stand behind their product and they did that exactly. They had multiple people contact me and they showed up on time on the day of the appointment. The 2 guys were the most professional people I think I have ever worked with. They completely started from scratch and the end result is absolutely amazing. They were in and out in one day. They installers were awesome. Called when they were in route. Explained the process and what to expect for dry times. I will definitely continue to use these guys in the future. As a company owner myself i know that you must be proud of the great people you have working for you. Very impressive.

I am in the process of renovating and adding on to an older house in Minneapolis. Not an easy job at all. I had no idea what would be involved with foundation work in the great white north. The workmanship provided to us has been amazing . I have since hired them to build my architectural walls for the landscape plan, epoxy floors in the garage ,micro-top the floors in the basement and pour my driveway! The pool comes later! I am pleased beyond words. Locally owned .... awesome service.

We had a patio slab that was pitted and chipped due to weather and age. The guys at Concrete Science brought it back to life way beyond anything I could have imagined. The crew was informative, polite and walked us through each step explaining what was going on. If you have an old or weathered patio, Concrete Science can bring it back to life.

The concrete work is fine for our pool deck. We are disappointed with the cracks, but I guess that s something that is to be expected.

The low review is based on the customer service we experienced the past couple months. It took two months (after our initial request to have someone come out to our house) and numerous calls/voicemails for Steve to look at the cracks on our pool deck and get back to us. We understand that cracks can occur, but we don t understand such a slow response. During my last attempt to get someone out to our house, I was told by Lynn that it was the busy season, and she would get back within a day or two after checking into the situation. Lynn did not call back, so I called back again. Steve did finally come out and told us nothing could be done. It took almost two months to get an answer to our question!

Concrete Science was a very professional business to work wth. From the initial contact they were timely in their responsiveness and follow through. Employees were friendly and knowledgeable. Any issues were addressed and taken care of immediately. I would highly recommend this company.

Just had my project completed by Concrete Science and I couldn t be more Satisfied. From the very beginning they were responsive and timely throughout the process. The salesmen was very knowledgeable and went the extra mile to help me design my project within my budget. Once I approved their proposal Chase called me to help schedule the work to be done on my time. With a busy schedule I didn t have many options for them to do the work and they were accommodating every step of the way. The crew that showed up were very knowledgeable And worked long hours to get the job done on time. Once completed, Chase followed up to make sure everything turned out the way I wanted it. This is by far the BEST experience I have ever had with any contractor! I have already recommended them to family members and friends. My sister is scheduled to have her basement floor done next week.

We recently moved to a new house and had the garage floor epoxied - this is the 3rd floor that I have had done (first using Concrete Science) -- it turned out fantastic. My previous experience with a large garage floor coating company was not great and the reason I looked around. We had a relative that had Concrete Science do their garage a little over a year ago and I was impressed. Very happy that we went with Concrete Science. We went with a custom flake color (FG-714 'Mushroom') that rode the line between brown and gray. Turned out even better than I had hoped! Highly Recommend.

I hired Concrete Science to caulk all of the expansion joints in our driveway and walks. I also hired them to put a coating on our garage floor. We had our garage floor done and love it! They came in on time and were finished the same day. I highly recommend Concrete Science.

It's unlikely anyone could claim to have a "perfect" experience planning and contracting a sidewalk replacement, but ours was pretty darn close. On our first visit we met Lynn Marie, who either had the answers to our questions or found the person to ask and then continued to work with us selecting our colors and pattern. Her title is Office Manager, but she obviously does a lot more than managing the office!
Installation was estimated at 6 weeks, but happened sooner. Plenty of communication from them, so no confusion or surprises. Jorge and his crew showed up right on time and did an amazing job and you could tell he had a professional and experienced crew behind him. They did an great job on a very hot and humid day. To our surprise, Brent the COO showed up "just to see how it was going" very impressive. A couple days later Scott showed up to work his magic with the color and stamping. Did an amazing job, again on a very hot and sticky day.
We were so pleased and impressed with everything and everyone that we signed up to epoxy our garage floor. We're 100% confident of the same fantastic results!

The concrete work is fine for our pool deck. We are disappointed with the cracks, but I guess that s something that is to be expected.

The low review is based on the customer service we experienced the past couple months. It took two months (after our initial request to have someone come out to our house) and numerous calls/voicemails for Steve to look at the cracks on our pool deck and get back to us. We understand that cracks can occur, but we don t understand such a slow response. During my last attempt to get someone out to our house, I was told by Lynn that it was the busy season, and she would get back within a day or two after checking into the situation. Lynn did not call back, so I called back again. Steve did finally come out and told us nothing could be done. It took almost two months to get an answer to our question!

Jason, Ryan and the crew were exceptional. They are prompt, professional and fun to work with. Our floors are even better than we could have expected, we highly recommend Concrete Science.

I have had Concrete science install an epoxy floor on a customer's basement shop and it was amazing, there team is very well organized from the estimate to schedule to install clean up and final finish. We had the old coating on our patio removed and a new one applied. All done in one day! Wonderful service and the patio looks great.

Kerry Hicks was the reason I went with this company. I have a new home with a poorly installed driveway (no rebar or foundation). I took the builder to court and won a new driveway (partially covered by settlement) so was very skeptical of promises made. But Kerry has a great crew working for him and was able to deliver promised and exceptional quality to our project. We opted to have the garage floor epoxied as well and bot the projects were done beautifully.
There could be a lot better communication from the office in general. I had to make SEVERAL calls to find out the status of my projects. Not a fan of poor customer service but quality of work made up for it. Professional care information needs to be given on care of both epoxy and concrete finish but none given. I had to ask for warranty document as well.

The entire staff was everything a customer could expect. They created the perfect outdoor space for me. I am very happy with the amazing outcome of my project. I highly recommend the professionals at Concrete Science.

We contracted Concrete Science to replace two driveways, a patio, and all our sidewalks; a few thousand square feet. We opted for stamped and colored concrete, to accent our house and the wall we had built by a landscaper as part of the same project.

There were challenges, mostly weather, but CS was there the whole way and went far above and beyond in making everything right; delivering exactly what we asked them to.

I would use them again, and would recommend them to anyone looking for concrete work.
