Excellent service. Helpful and knowledgeable staff sourced and replaced an awkward laptop CPU fan with a bad bearing at a reasonable price in good time, despite having to source the new part. Had an issue with the fan 7 months later (at no fault of Computer Buddies) that was resolved within 24 hours. Would highly recommend.

Had to get up early for Peter arriving prompt 8.30am,not only did he transfer data from old laptop to my new laptop ,but helped out with my printer and my 2 kindles (mine/wife's),nothing is too much trouble for them,and his knowledge on his trade is mind boggling(because that's what your paying for isn't it!!) ,would thoroughly recommend CB anyone and everyone,so do not hesitate to contact them if you have any problem no matter how little or big.

Hit a problem rebuilding a gaming pc. Been struggling on an issue for a couple of hours and had given up. Took it in and they found the problem within 5mins, sorted it out and told me how to fix it next time. Highly recommend them if you hit an issue and need something fixed. Cheers for your help guys!

I've met Ben, Cat and Pete. As well as being totally knowledgeable and sorting problems they are extremely helpful when they explain the tech stuff. They do it in such a user-friendly way and they make you feel really comfortable to ask all your questions. Ben had already helped me on a 'community day' that's held in Hoole every 4th Sunday. He went on to source a new laptop for me, taking into account my needs and budget and he transferred all my stuff onto it and is also a Team Viewer if I need his help remotely. Good stuff, thank you guys. Five star squared.

Super efficient and cost effective repair of my Macbook Air. Dropped it off in the morning, after dropping it (!!), repaired by lunchtime...I swear it is running quicker than it was before it broke. Very impressed. Fully recommend.

Thanks to Cat and her advice I've saved myself from buying a new less repairable new Mac. Wish I'd gone here sooner than spending ages on forums and with Apple who deemed my product 'obsolete'

A warm welcome as you walked in, hand gel outside, only one at a time in the shop with Perspex on both counters between you so you feel safe!

I took in my Mac mini as it was running very slowly, has been for a while, a phone cal an hour later diagnosed a new hard drive was needed.

Part ordered, my data transferred over to the new one and collected 2 days later.

I was impressed with this service and would highly recommend Computer Buddies.

Don't normally leave solid 5 star reviews, but when it comes to these guys they deserve to be noticed, hands down 100%!

My own cack hands made a silly mistake during a rebuild of my PC and I urgently needed help isolating the issue, seemed like these guys were suggested to me both it terms of distance and rating and I wasn't wrong! In the end, issue isolated quickly, new parts ordered at a great price compared to what I'd pay myself and shared some good knowledge and tips for free too and all of this from "broken" to "better" in a matter of a few days, was absolutely brilliant.

Several months on my PC is rocking (even looking at an upgrade now) and I keep suggesting them to anyone with an issue or even for advice, even if you're noob right the way to being a build master, sometimes that hands on approach and second pair of eyes does wonders, not to mention the knowledge, experience and speed in which said actions are expressed.

Sorry for the late review guys, seems google never added it last time, thank you again though you'll always be my go too guys, don't go anywhere! Pure diamonds.

On Saturday I had a problem with my Dell laptop and Ben suggested I took it into the shop so he could have a look. A few diagnostic's later he said that my hard drive was failing and throwing up the errors.
New laptop or new hard drive? It was a no brainer.
I left it with Ben and Catherine and before I left the shop Ben had given me an honest price for replacing the H.D.
Around 14.30 that afternoon Ben arrived at my home with the laptop and proceeded to set up the wireless and printer.
I have used Computer Buddies before and as always they are a good reliable company to deal with,
They will give a good fair price for the work, they do what they say they will do and I have no problems recommending them as I have done in the past and a few of my acquaintances have used Computer Buddies on my recommendation that they all say the same,

Took my laptop to this place - to be fair they looked at it quickly and were very friendly. I was unimpressed that they told me that it was not fixable and tried to push me to buy a Macbook which they happened to have in stock. Not interested in a Macbook so I started looking around other stores in the area and was advised in one of them to bring my laptop in and they'd double check it. Much to my surprise that after just a couple of hours the other store called me and advised they had changed a tiny component on my laptop's motherboard and had fixed the problem completely. Very unimpressed at the lack of knowledge and professionalism shown by computer buddies. My advice - get a second opinion if they tell you something is unrepairable or beyond economical repair as they appear to only do basic repairs.

Great independent. Rescued my data from a dead machine and installed it onto my new machine. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Asus Rog g751jt laptop. Entered sleep mode randomly for no reason while playing or just browsing. Tried reinstalling windows, updating drivers, replacing the Ssd, anything I could think of. Was almost sure it's a hardware issue. Brought the laptop here, they figured out the next day it was the Bluetooth driver. Waited a few days to test the laptop before posting a review. 10/10 would recommend.

Replaced a screen on my MacBook Air within the same day. Brilliant service, and very obliging.

My computer was driving me mad could not do anything without it freezing and pop ups everywhere I tried everything to get rid no joy.
Went into computer buddies explained to the lads no problem they said give us a couple of hours and it will be done. True to there word it was done they told me it was infested,but they cleared everything without loosing any of my information. My desktop computer catastrophically broke last month, and I had no idea what happened to it. I took it into Computer Buddies on Friday under their "no fix, no fee" guarantee.

They identified the power supply unit has failed. They have me clear and transparent costs. I asked them to source a particular make, and to upgrade the unit to a higher wattage. They were really flexible.

The whole replacement was completed by the Monday. Great service, will definitely use again!
