UNBELIEVABLE that this joke of a hospital is allowed to be accredited. The staff is OK at best. My primary care doesn't have "permissions' here, So they assigned me to their 3rd party vendor. I'll bet their 3rd party vendor isn't in most Insurance networks, but that remains to be seen. I had to beg to be allowed to take a shower. I finally was allowed to shower, I turned on the water and you could actually see the dust bunnies an mold floating and circling the drain. I can only imagine if a culture swab was done on that shower what would come up. Then the real big issue. Patti a "nurse" in 4E. I had the displeasure of being assigned to her care. Care...that's a joke. On Saturday 10/29/16 my IV antibiotics ran out so the Infusion pump alarm stated beeping wildly, after about 25 minutes my husband left, he couldn't handle the shrill, screaming of the alarm so he went home. He drove all the way to the other end of town and called me. He was surprised to find the alarm was still screaming. Now I'm done. I unscrewed the union on my IV port and put the pump in the hallway. I now got Patti's attention. She came by and took the pump out of the hall way and put it at the foot of my bed, alarm still going off. She told me "your arrogance got this back and when I'm good and ready I'll shut it off". Then I responded with "Lard Ass you can take that thing and yourself out of my room" I again got out of bed and put it back in the hall. Then a very kind nurse (I did not catch her name) just her title Resource Nurse, turned off the pump alarms. A simple 2 second procedure. But Patti's spite work didn't end there. She reached out to my faux-primary-care physician and the Infectious Disease Doctor and told them I removed the entire IV from my arm. Totally untrue, a baldfaced LIE. The doctors changed from IV antibiotics to oral antibiotics. I immediately called the called the faux-primary explained to him Patti lied to him and that the IV was still in my arm and it was never removed and he ran to my room and found it to be undisturbed and he restarted the IV antibiotics. Now today 11/1/16 I had a visit with Casandra Glowski the Director of 4-E. She first stomped over to my room mate with her nasty attitude and she told her it wasn't her and to check with me. No apology to my room mate. She sat next to my bed showed no concern for my serious illness She was unconcerned that her nurse Patti ignoring the alarm, no concern for Patti's arrogant attitude or dereliction of her duties, but her went on belittling and scolding me like I was a 5 years old about calling Patti a "Lard Ass". I tried to explain over and over that Patti earned the "respect" I shown her. She just kept getting angrier and angrier that I refused to see it her way that I started crying and asked her to leave. She didn't leave, she just kept repeating herself and getting angrier that I didn't see things her way. I asked her again to leave. It took my husband I tell her to leave not once but twice to leave before she left. I was then discharged from this hell hole. AVOID THIS HORRIBLE HOSPITAL.

My father was there recently with double pneumonia on 3C. I want to complement a Nurse Veronica in taking great care of my dad. Dr Aura the house Dr she was great in her care. Jenna an Rn on 3C gave great care to my dad. Overall our experience was good, just one small thing, the bathroom sink didn t drain, in room 3304 the sink would overflow if u let the water run while washing up, I wanted to make a complaint while my dad was there but, I didn t want anyone to get upset and maybe compromise my dads care by making myself seem like someone that complains. Great staff on 3C thank you guys for taking great care of him (George Waespy).

I felt at home in the delivery room. Susann was so knowledgeable and very comforting.

ER triage personnel extremely rude and unpleasant. The ER observation area understaffed...several hours went by without being seen, meds not given

While vacationing in Lavallette my 13 year old daughter jumped in shallow water and broke her ankle! Brought her to the ER at around 6 pm on Saturday night... was treated kindly and efficiently.. they brought her back right away and did xrays and called the pediatric orthopedic Dr David Dickerson was the Dr on call... he ordered a cat scan and decided surgery would be best. Needless to say I was a mess considering I was on vacation and they are telling me my daughter is having surgery in 2 hrs when I thought it was just a sprained ankle! Anyway everyone was wonderful! The nurses,anesthesiologists, Drs, staff everyone! We had to spend the night they were so caring and compassionate with my daughter and myself included. We decided to use Dr Dickerson for the rest of her treatment and I cannot thank everyone at the hospital enough for taking such good care of my daughter 5

Terrible my wife is sick and pregnant and still has yet to be seen.

I want to thank CMC for my Oncology Certified Massage Therapy provided by LuAnne Mondo. She was professional yet showed such compassion and empathy for her clients. She has been such a help to me on my journey to wellness. LuAnne makes sure you are comfortable and is one of the kindest people I have met in a long time. I was reluctant at first to believe that I would help me BUT, it has been SO MUCH HELP. Thank you

Stupid rules especially intensive care unit hospital rules that won't let you visit until 10:30 pm which is down right stupid and the parking is very poor that was seven years ago

I really can't stand this hospital. I know that they spent a lot of money in renovating the place to make it look nice, but they're really quick to get you into a room and let you sit there for hours before you actually see a doctor.

Terrible hospital Dont bring your enemy here they dropped my mother in law on the floor during transport now unfortunately she is brain dead waiting to pull the plug

Watching my dad suffer is the worse. WORSE place ever.

Called Patient Satifaction Team to let My Wife with High Blood Pressure and Premature Baby use a Standard Cell Phone Charger from Anyone in the hospital. I was told it is a liability issue and they can not provide one. Either you use a Apple or a Micro Usb.

Just Wrong.....

The absolute worst hospital & support staff care. Spent 46 hrs in ER medical obsveration unit. After 44 hrs the very first food tray was finally delivered which consisted of some feces looking material slapped on a hamburger roll( Im a vegan) I told my nurse this & was offered nothing! Waited 15 hrs for a nicotine patch (recent former smoker) waited 3 hrs for meds which were due on a timed basis. Call buttons were missing so either i had to choose sounding like an obnoxious person shouting for a nurse or simply remain silent!
The nurse was rude & obnoxious to my family & then out of spite of my complaining told the desk to turn my visitors away!!! Patient confidalitly & HIPAA WAS violated! I was injured during a seizure....they refused to acknowledge my injuries, refused follow up xrays etc. I advised them that upon my immediate discharge I would follow thru with documentation at another reputable hospital! They couldn't discharge me fast enough even though my vital signs were still unsteady. I recoreded all audio & video interactions for documentation. My roomates visitor also recorded my "rapid response code" when i had another medical incident!
The RN panicked....my face & head were thrown like a rag doll striking the metal side rails!!!
Please stay FAR FAR AWAY from this "hole". BTW I am also employed in a ER out of State which I kept to myself....all patients deserve the same respect, attention & quality care.
Imo there's no accountability, no supervision in each pod & the nurses & techs are free to do as they please! No discipline! Charge nurse should be checking in with each pod at least every 30 mins & asking pts if their needs are met!!! Only reason I saw the charge nurse was because my symptoms were ignored & I crashed becoming a rapid response victim!!!!

This place is a complete joke. Wait times are outrageous. Ppl are crying in excruciating pain in the ER with 0 attention given to them. Never ending bad experiences here. Will be driving the extra 30 min to visit Neptune.

LeeAnn in the emergency department deserves a medal and a raise after having to deal with my son and myself. My son projectile vomited all over the room and was being very difficult. LeeAnn didn't even bat an eye. Thank you!!

My first time experience here are great including staff. The orthopedic clinic here at the colony is the best

Went to the ER and was hooked up to a machine that was rigged with DUCT TAPE, I had fainting episodes and I do smoke marijuana so they instantly pointed all the attention twards that and said I had a syncope; NOW I went to the Brick hospital, the cat scanned me, xrayed and blood work, and said to follow up with a neurologist. Turns out I could be developing epilepsy in my 20's now. I felt as though after that, that they had no idea what they were doing...

This hospital is the worst around. The doctor don't care about the patients. Never ever go

We delivered our second child there recently. The maternity pavilion was wonderful. The physicians, nurses, and support staff were excellent and attentive. I would definitely recommend delivering your baby here.

This hospital deserves no stars!They should be in the negative. My mother was drugged and rapped a few months again. When I went to the hospital to see her she was bleeding out her retum and repeatedly staring she was rapped and drugged. Instead of preforming a rape kit,they assumed she was just another addict off the street. This woman is the most loving and kind woman you'll ever meet and doesn't use drugs. Whom ever rapped her knocked her out and injected something into her. Now mind you they made her stay a couple of days to keep an eye on her. The person whos friends did this to her are still harassing her and just killed 6 out 9 cats my mother was going to rescue and yesterday this woman blocked my mother's door way and pushed her. Seaside coops have done nothing, but because my mom said she was going to sue the hospital because the evidence she did have they didn't bother to get. Right now my mother is in the er because they think she might be at harm to herself or others. My mother was fine until all of this and now I think they are trying to cover the tracks cause they don't know how to do there job. My mother is in fear of her life. My grandmother and myself were also victims of this women's torture and harassment. This would take a toll on anyone. Don't get me wrong but if the hospital did there're job the first time my mother wouldn't be going there this and won't even talk to me know cause I'm recording the conversations.. I'm a nurse as well,but I didn't get my degree in a cracker jack box.. and as for the psychiatrist well I think my 9 year old can do a better job diagnosing someone

The staff is overwhelmed by the slave driving hospital there by forget patients needs I ask for a chair sit on and still no responce. People come here to DIE. Find a better place and enjoy your life!!!!

Ive been sitting in the er for over one hour and have not seen a nurse or doctor yet. No one has assessed my pain level. As a health care professional i am very dissatisfied. When i was finally seen i was never assessed for pain, offered ice or elevation. I was offered a walker because I'm 60. I am unable to bear weight. The icing on the cake was the urinal filled with urine on the table next to me, left from the previous patient.
### after reveiwing my medical records it states that i was a daily smoker. I am not a smoker nor have i ever been. NO ONE EVER ASKED ME...LOL this just keeps getting better with all the incompetence!

Just horrible...from ER to 5 days in hospital to the security storm troopers it was horrible experience.....lawyers already filled notice of tort and I have filed with the ethics and standards division of one of the other 25 counties a You never get a fair shake if you complain to local law enforcement

Doctor told me to go to a primary care doctor that will care about me, wouldn t give me eye contact, and the nurses will gossip to themselves about other nurses while they see you waiting to talk to them.

Unprofessional & trashy hospital, I d be better off sick.

Recently took a friend for a procedure in Same day Surgery. Everyone was efficient and kind. They took my friend in on time. My friend said the people that took care of them were all friendly and couldn't be nicer. Everything was excellent!

This used to be a great hospital.. You'd figure with all of the technology upgrades over the years that they would come up with some sort of system to get their patients through the ER in a timely manner. To be sitting in that waiting room in agony over an abscess tooth that was affecting my eyesight, my head, my jaw bone, and my ear for almost 6 hours and then finally leaving to Kimball hospital (Which is was in and out within 30-40 mins) is absolutely a crisis!! I had such a bad infection and should have been put through "quick care" being pregnant and all but NO I had leave to another hospital to better care than my own home town could give me. That's sad. I could understand maybe a few hour wait with a packed waiting room but this was not the case at all... it was almost 1am and had about maybe 10 patients in ER waiting area. That should not have been hours and hours of wait time to even get into an exam room!! Community Medical Center has some serious adjusting to do!!!

If i could give 0 stars, that would still be generous! This ER is a joke, it was full of people loitering in the waiting room, the triage nurse was clearly not thrilled to be there, curt and rude. I came in as a high risk pregnancy w/complications due to a blood clotting disorder, fever and severe cramping...waited over 3 hours just for them to do bloodwork-which was ordered wrong and wasnt redone for hours-but even worse didnt get an ultrasound for 10 hours. Then when i finally made it to ultrasound, none of my rn's "prepped" me so since i didnt have a full bladder i was sent back to er bay to wait some more! Finally after all that while waiting to be discharged the on call male nurse who barely spoke english came in to remove my IV and put 2 vials of someone elses blood on my lap and proceeded to rip my IV out (literally) with no gloves on-i watched in horror as my fiance restrained himself with anger and disbelief. This place was horrible, its a liability waiting to happen and should be shut down.

Went in Saturday night for a work-related injury. Wait was long, but once I was seen, got great help. Friendly and efficient staff. Hospital has come a long.

*****Warning******never go to an Urgent Care Clinic for a work-related injury. And especially don't go to the Meridian Urgent Care Clinic on 2126 Rt.88. The staff there blows!

The hospital, doctors & nurses are truly amazing. It s the best hospital I have ever been to. I had bariatric sleeve surgery 7/18/19 I m thankful for everyone s patience and for all of their help.

This place is just HORRIBLE! I came in for really bad pains in my stomach and they told me I have a UTI. I've had a UTI in the past and I still do. They never go away! Before the nurse even took my blood work or urine, I asked "will i be home by tomorrow? I have a concert to go to tomorrow but I want to feel better." She said you should be home by today. I literally was only in there for 3 hours. Then she came back and took the IV out (which had run out so it was kinda painful) and said "okay you're all good to go, here's papers" Seriously? I never even seen a doctor. I told her my stomach is hard when I'm standing and not as hard when I'm sitting that's probably why she didn't feel the hardness but she's like "that's why we touch your stomach laying down" then she proceeded to tell me it's just muscles in my stomach that I'm feeling. Like really? This lady thinks she knows my body. I looked at the paper and it says "Reason for visit" : UTI... I never complained about a UTI. I have problems there and I know what that feels like. I was born at 12:35am and on the paper it says 12:00am. My blood pressure came back 147/78 and the paper said 130/78. These people are so wrong and now iI'm sitting here the next day in the same pain. It's just unreal with these people. DO I EVEN HAVE TO GIVE THESE PEOPLE A STAR?!?!?!??!

******here I am a few months later & I just found out it was an ovarian cyst in my left ovary. The pain got bad and it ruptured. Doesn't sound like a UTI. I have so many medical bills first off and second off, it makes me look delusional when I tell them that its NOT a UTI. The cyst was the size of a baseball. I've went to urologists, primary care doctors, hospital, imaging places, gastro doctors and finally after a 1 year old cyst explodes my gynecologist did a internal ultrasound and told me what it was.

I have been a patient in the off campus cardiac imaging/diagnostic office twice now, once this month and once in August. I have had a fanastic experience both times. From the receptionist at the front desk, to the technicians, their warm personalities help to make worrying moments, easier. Both times, they demonstrated excellent time management as I was seen at my appointment time. I appreciate their efforts and their compassion.

I spent 4 days trying to schedule an ultra sound . It
was for varicose veins . I spoke to 6 people to get this scheduled. Of course, the only time was 3:15 on a work day . Took the afternoon off, as I needed to be there early . After waiting for the test , I finally was called . I was told someone made a mistake and that they don t do this here . That was it . No apology, no offer of where to get this done . How the heck do they NOT know what diagnostic tests they perform ? And better yet , why not apologize for screwing my day and time ?

I would not bring an animal there. I did not want star but could not get rid of it

Don't go to the ER here. Their front desk ER nurses/staff don't do well under pressure.....it compromises their compassion which is supposed to be the reason they chose the health care profession. You don't want your health compromised because a nurse is in a bad mood.

How is this place still open? TERRIBLE!! Do nor go here for real emergencies, they'll kill you due to lack of knowledge.

Was taking back fast,seen fast, and treated and released fast. Doctor and nurse were very compassionate and understanding.

10/28- I've never been treated so badly by this place.
First it was the triage nurse trying her best to upset
me and make me angry!! Sat in waiting room for hours to be wheeled in next to a bed and left there with dirty sheets on the cot, so there I sat there!
Since I was wheeled in not one nurse or anyone acknowledged that I was there.
I more than understand it was very busy. But there is not one excuse in the world for being as rude & unprofessional as they were!

Visiting family for the weekend and had the not so pleasure of stopping at this hospital for an infection in my leg. Nurses are nice but not very compassionate. Waited about 7 hours just to get a medicine in my system from ER. Now admitted, asking for things seems like a chore. No one comes to check on you and they seem to mix up a lot of information.

Very disappointing service. Everything takes forever and it s not even overpacked. If there is another option a few miles away I would have taken it. I thought the hospitals in my hometown weren t the best and they may not be. But they still rank out of the league compared to Barnabas Community Hospital. Only seen Dr once in 3 days. For five mins. Good luck if you have anything serious.

Awful !!!! I wish I could give this hospital a negative star rate. This hospital has to be the worse in all of New Jersey.
