Because they feeds alot of famly all over NJ. And there are ather things they help with. And because I work there as a driver.
Great place to volunteer and help those in need. There's no AC so you might want to schedule your volunteer activities during the cooler months.
Volunteering is so important. All the donations won't feed anyone until the volunteers help process, sort and pack it up.
My first experience at the food bank was fair at best. Check in system was great butt after that it needs work. Employees openly in debate and a serminar on customer service and friendliness is definitely needed. Food Bank provided a great service but the back office needs work. The shopping experience in the freezer is a free for all and is dangerous

Im very disappointed today 08-09-16was my first day and i was super thankful and happy but then i realized that all the food they gave to me was expired... I even had a bacon that was expired since July 13 2016..
Was very impressed how much food and house hold items for people that don't have and they distribute throughout NJ I volunteered for a few hours a week ago it was very rewarding
CFBNJ is doing an amazing job of distributing food to those in need in the State of New Jersey, by helping
food pantries & soup kitchens getting food to those who are less fortunate.
When you ask which part you want to go to, go to a frozen storage room.

Quick service if you need to drop extra pallets of food refused at another customer. People are nice and don't make you wait too long. An address to keep in your pocket if you deliver food in North Jersey.
