Dear Commonwealth Bank,

Dear Commonwealth Bank,

I have been experiencing the most outrageous customer service in your bank.

I have been applied and approved for Platinum Credit Card about two months ago. I did not receive the cards. Someone activated my card (from the bank) without my knowledge. So my Gold Credit Card was cancelled and moved over automatically. I meant I did not have a credit card anymore. I called the bank to report the issue. the operator blocked my new and never received credit card. So, I do not have any credit card at all. Moreover, The operator blocked my debit card too. That means I have no cards since the Thursday. I was still ok till my Tap and Pay stop working on the weekend to make this the third strike and embarrassed me in front of my friends and I needed to borrow money for having lunch with them.

So, I came to the bank again today and the lady said that she cannot be able to see my credit card because of the crash in the system. So, She helped and called the credit card on the phone. The lady explained some items but ignored my request to talk to her directly.

I was agitated enough to call and complain after this. The lady behind the phone mentioned that she cannot connect me with the complain section. That just made me not to be agitated anymore and become happy. This is the most ridiculous joke I have even been heard.

Therefor, I am going to rate you based on my experience in 5 categories.

1) not being able to help with the issue: 10 out of 10
2) untrained Staff: 10 out of 10
3) Technical Issues with the bank: 10 out of 10
4) lacking customer service: 9 out of 10 (you did not get the full mark because someone is at least saying sorry behind the phone)
5) Jokes and funny stuff: 10 out of 10

At the end, I really like comedy. I would love to have an opportunity to work in your company. with my knowledge in comedy, I am sure I can be a help there.

Regards,

Cyrus Ranjbar
(based on your amazing rating, I am not expecting any response but you can pm me and I will give you my customer number if you want to publish this funny story)

The Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Bankin...

The Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry found that the Commonwealth Bank ripped off thousands of customers who had sought financial advice for nearly a decade. The Commonwealth Bank admitted to being the worst financial services entity in Australia for charging customers fees for financial advice they never received.

If that was not bad enough, the same Royal Commission revealed that the Commonwealth Bank s financial advisers charged fees to dead clients, one client had been dead for more than a decade.

I certainly won t be doing any business with these grave robbers in the future.

The Bank that really CAN'T!

The Bank that really CAN'T!
It has now been more than a month of phone calls, emails and various technician visits to effect what should have been a fairly simple swap of EFTPOS terminals, and installation of an additional one. Again today, because of poor communication between the bank, the merchant team and their installation people, Bombora, the installation was not completed.
Really am stunned that such poor service is possible as this. Gobsmackingly terrible.

Outraged that the bank is still supporting fossil fuels. I will divest if the bank decides to continue investing in dirty coal. Come on CommBank, become a leader not a follower and move to investing in renewables and a clean future for Australia and Australians. Don't kill our reef with dirty investments.

Massively disappointed that CommBank has supported more fossil fuel projects than any other bank in Australia since the Paris Agreement was reached in 2015. I'd prefer to bank on the future.

-Minus 100 stars if they were available. I was a customer since I was born . At 21 applied for a credit card said no. Said I'm closing my account after all this time with you. They didnt care about it. Went to another bank got a credit card and a home loan. Now majority of shareholders are American. Royal banking commission was a joke rigged from the start. Would never ever bank with you lot ever again!

Its rare to have good relationship with bank when they all want to up-sell something most of the time. Thats something I personally find annoying. CBA wasnt an exception in the past.

Today I called CBA to cancel my 10+years account and I should say I was pleased the professionalism and hassle free "get it done" approach of the operator.

I made the mistake of switching to Comminsure for my home & contents insurance cover in 2014. Their portable contents cover is very deceptive and incredibly confusing so even though I had read the PDS and was certain my expensive multifocal spectacles were covered however it turns out they weren't after I lost them out hiking.
I feel very ripped off and urge you not to even consider these charlatans if you are shopping around for home & contents insurance.
