Let me start this off by saying that I live all the way in St. Louis (a 2 hour drive roughly) and was in the market for a new 2018 Honda Civic Hatchback in a rare Sonic Gray color. Though I was able to locate one in my city, it was sold to someone else the same day I test drove it... and I'm a slow shopper so I was talking to a couple different dealerships about prices and models. Other dealerships had tried to sell me on the vehicles they had on their lot, but those weren't the trim levels nor color that I wanted.
Enter, Doug Walker at Columbia Honda. I had mistaken a silver car on their inventory as the Sonic Gray that I wanted and that's how we got to talking. This guy even recorded a personalized video of a car they had on their lot to give me an overview of the trim level I was looking at. The only problem? The color wasn't right.
Well, Doug was extremely helpful and went out of his way to make sure I received the car color and trim that I wanted. He dealt with my needy texts asking him to look for that specific color and contact other dealerships that I located with that vehicle in their inventory. He was able to work out a dealer trade with a dealership in Arkansas for me, and sent a coworker out to pick up the car I wanted at a steal of a price and I made my trip up to Columbia to get my new baby! Thanks "Hollywood"!
He even treated us to some pizza for lunch during our paperwork / completion process. Nick Costanza was also very understanding and informative during our visit, providing answers to my questions and solutions to my concerns regarding financing and what warranties were needed and added an extra perk or two in there for me after I nagged at him for a little while, haha.
TLDR; Great, friendly staff who go out their way to make you happy with more than fair prices. (aka other dealerships said "Great deal, can't even come close. Buy from them immediately!") No pressure sales experience. Pizza!
