Grace filled. Vibrant. Honest. Nurturing. No church, no group of people is any more perfect than the people it's made of and since none of us are perfect, i don't go looking for the "perfect church." Instead i look for where the Jesus and the Word of God is center and I am challenged to grow. Don't want my ears tickled with sweet words. Want the opportunity to be engaged in living out my faith. College Park Church has all this.

For being such a large church, I have always been impressed by the intentional outreach options from children's ministry, youth group, young adults, home groups, local outreach, men's group, and women's group. There's diversity to worship and not just typical "modern Christian rock''. The pastor uses the Bible for reference left and right along with thorough cultural context for explanations.

I ve never experienced a church like College Park. The worship makes every Sunday feel like a celebration, and the preaching is deep and thought-provoking. Everything they do is intentional and Gospel-centered. We ve been attending for over 2 years and I still get excited to go every Sunday morning.

I don't go to this church, but I'm glad it's there. Churches like this one make the neighborhood around them better by changing the atmosphere and providing hope. I do park in their parking lot sometimes when I don't want to risk riding my bike over the 465 bridge on Towne Rd.

College Park is a big part of the reason I chose to stay in Indianapolis after traveling around for work the past few years. It is a welcoming place filled with humans that love God and seek to love others well. The teaching in classes they offer or the main sermon is filled with truth that draws your heart to love Jesus. They have a wonderful kids program and love kids well. Come check it out!!

Play it loud. Sing it proud! If you won t - we (and undoubtedly, Betsy s cats) will join in! The Good Book says so. As soon as He was approaching Jerusalem, near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the entire multitude of the disciples [all those who were or claimed to be His followers] began praising God [adoring Him enthusiastically and] joyfully with loud voices for all the miracles and works of power that they had seen, shouting, Blessed (celebrated, praised) is the King who comes in the Name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory (majesty, splendor) in the highest [heaven]! Some of the Pharisees from the crowd said to Him, Teacher, rebuke your disciples [for shouting these Messianic praises]. Jesus replied, I tell you, if these [people] keep silent, the stones will cry out [in praise]! Luke 19:37 40
