Very unprofessional staff. I received a message stating that I needed to call them back immediately. When I did, I got a generic answering machine. A gentleman called me back a few days later and started the conversation with how I owe money to a credit card processing company. I tried to explain that our business had been closed since 2015 and that I did not understand what he was talking about and questioned as to why I am just getting this information. He replied that several letters had been sent to the business address and multiple emails with no response. Since there was no response from us, the issue was sent to his collection company. He then started to raise his voice and tried bullying me into 'just pay us...You do not want bed credit do you... you owe this money....just pay us" I finally had to yell over his voice, I told him to shut and stop trying to bully me and that I had heard nothing from the company who said I owed them money. I asked that since he had my phone number, why had no one from either company try to call me. He went right back to telling me how my credit was going to suffer and that I should just realize I owe the money and to pay him. I hung up on him. I called the credit card processing company and they have no information regarding this company and there is no outstanding bill that I owe them. These kind of companies are such pieces of .......

Mr. Dastur is an A*******! Even after I told him l never owed Plante Energy any money. That i paid my cancellation fee off. This A******* still send me letters and emails. This is harassment. They should look into or find out that the account is in good standing before .

Scam artists buying your info. Don't tell them anything they put an automated message saying it's BMO and if you ask them info. You'll get to the bottom of it. Their not BMO. If you report them they hopefully shouldn't call you back

If you have received letter or phone call even if it seems legitimate DO NOT PAY. THIS IS A SCAM!

Attitude on the phone is really really horrible. I recently moved to new house and got collection letter for previous owner. I tried to explain whats going on here, the agent was not patient to listen my word, and said return to post canada. Well ok thats good solution, but could you speak a little nicely? Her voice was very annoying, not friendly. GG

I received a call from one, Mr. Dastur from this company and he was extremely unprofessional. He was very rude, belligerent, and continued to berate and scold me throughout my conversation with him until he disconnected the call on me.

Received a bill for 2 invoices from Purolator that...

Received a bill for 2 invoices from Purolator that were supposed to be paid by the company I do contract work for. The company neglected to deal with it and now I'm stuck having to pay it and submit an expense report for it instead. Wouldn't be a problem if they had maybe a website to process these transactions, or agents assigned to the cases that actually picked up their phones. Not saying that these invoices don't need to be paid, I'm saying I literally CAN'T pay them until one of these folks calls me back. Not even their reception answers phone-calls and this is within working hours.

They also backdate their letters. They claim to have sent me something on July 23 but I received it on August 13? Yeah... that seems legit... If you're past the 10 days they say you could incur late fees and they'll submit it to ruin your credit. If they submitted literally anything damaging on this one, when they clearly backdated it so I couldn't respond in time they'll hear from my lawyer.

Unbelievable!! I could not believe what I overheard when my business partner phoned to clear up what ended up being an error on this companies part. These men running the company were aggressive and rude. We no longer live in the stone age where this behaviour is in any way acceptable. All we wanted to do was get to the bottom of this email demanding immediate payment to our business email. This came as a complete shock. We quickly made contact with this company. The original contact person was out of control. He wouldn't even speak with my business partner he just forwarded her to Frank. Holy smokes when she finally reached Frank I couldn't believe my ears. In all my years of business I have never experienced such an angry individual. How anyone would be a part of contracting this company out is shocking. His behavior was very threatening and aggressive. He should be ashamed of himself. It was an error on their end and he has the nerve to flip out on us for trying to resolve the issue. This guy needs to get over himself and realize not everyone will tolerate his volitile attitude. Attacking people verbally is unacceptable when he doesn't like what they have to say. I have a wonderful idea, if you don't like people mentioning getting a lawyer then maybe do your job right and get your facts straight. One thing I would highly recommend is find a more reputable company.

Horrible horrible horrible...they keep harassing me for a bill that isn't mine that I had to go the credit bureau to prove and have removed and the calls stopped for a few months but they've recently started up again!! leave me alone I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau!

Scam artists after debit that's not owed. Tried saying I owe a bell bill. Never been with bell my entire life. Checked my credit reports and even called bell. They had never heard of me. Hopefully this a**hat gets charged. I mean come on! It's not even a foreign scanner over seas. This is right in our own country.

Rude, unprofessional individuals running the show that cannot even speak the language and Planet Energy idiots that do not know how to take notes and follow through. They sent me to this collection agency even though the issue was resolved because I sold the house. I have no patience for people that do not know how to work effectively, efficiently and politely

This company is extremely unprofessional and uneth...

This company is extremely unprofessional and unethical. They made an error on their end. When I tried to resolve it they did not like that I wanted immediate attention to this matter. So they send me a email that does not apply to myself or my business they have gathered wrong information. Shoddy investigating on their end. When I phone regarding my concerns the individual that sent the email would not even discuss with me. He then just rudely forwards me to an even more unprofessional and aggresive "manager" named Frank. He then continues this rude behaviour and throws the company he has been contracted through under the bus. He states they provided him with my contact information.
He then stated condescendingly that this company never provides wrong information. Clearly this time they had. I contacted the company myself as these people are lacking at their skills. Turns out I was right they did have misinformation. They had total lack of accountibility for their errors. The management even informed me he would not be letting me know if he in fact did have the wrong information and I was the unfortunate victim of his abuse. He got very aggresive an innapropriate with me. I had a witness to hear the conversation. We were both in complete disbelief. Imagine being sent a collections notice due immediately or actions will be taken and yet not wanting to resolve with the reciever and being so nasty. Wow I suggest to anyone even thinking of using this company run don't walk. There is no excuse to tolerate this type of aggresive bullying behaviour. If you are sending out emails demanding money to the wrong people expect you are going to get some unhappy recipients on the other end. Very unprofessional.

very rude people there, calling me every other day reaching for my previous roommate, I said I know the person, tell me the issue then I can share his phone number. thee guy said then the call will continue to you and hang up. is there a rule in this country for such companies?

This company is stupid and annoying, keep getting mail for someone who never leaves at my address and any request to remove this address from the list is ignored.
For collection company such poor research testify to the lack of professionalism.

Be careful working with this company as their pric...

Be careful working with this company as their pricing changed after the fact depending on the situation every rate seemed to be higher than what was originally promised. No contract. consignee collections were 50%, large accounts over 10K ended up being 50% even though they said it would be 20% or less over the phone. Lesson learned get it in writing and see if you can find or get a copy of their standard terms and conditions they sure are not posted on their website and seemed to keep changing. Big disappointment with them we have moved on.

To get them to stop contacting you, send them a letter telling them you do not want to receive contact any longer. Their title is "Credit Bureau of Canada Collections". They go by other names as well is seems. Pursuant to the Collection and Debt Settlement Services Act, RSO 1990, c. C.14, they MUST STOP contacting you once you have told them to in writing. If they want to pursue it they must take it to the legal system, however, it appears they buy their debts from companies and then continue to make misrepresentations by stating that they are receiving instructions from their client, when that is in fact not the case. Know your rights!
