I have been to many reaturaunts and this is one place you must try. This is the first time I have eaten at a Persian kitchen but im sure it will not be the last. Had a great atmosphere, amazing food and fantastic service. Look forward to my 2nd visit
Simply gorgeous. We had, and can highly recommend, the Colbeh Special, which is skewers of lamb fillets, lamb cubes and saffron chicken, with saffron rice. The meat was perfectly cooked, tender & juicy, with herbs and spices. Delicious. I said to my wife, "If I wasn't so full, I could eat one of those again." Very much worth the trip across town.
We had never tried Persian food but the staff were really lovely and helped us to choose. The food was hot and really delicious and service excellent. We will definitely be back. Good vegetarian options too!

Great food, lots of choice and friendly atmosphere.
The food was extremely good very tasty and the service was also excellent. Although I ordered a drink which I ended up not liking they took it off from the bill and gave me something else. That was a nice gesture
Such a beautiful place with a lovely atmosphere, every single staff member we spoke to were polite, warm and welcoming. Food tasted fresh (we had the mixed grill) and the complimentary olives we had were the best olives I've tasted. Definitely a place I will return back to :)

Just been to this so called best restaurant in the midlands.
It's a shame as I had high hopes for this place and when I went there first of all they offered us a table for 4 while I had reservation for 5 people and been told either take it or leave.
Second about the food, compare to the price small portion of rice and cold food while we had to wait 45 minutes. The quality of food wasn't good at all.

The service is to a very good standard. It has to be the best Iranian food I have eaten out at. The quality of the ingredients is the best. Recently moved from London due to pandemic, I used to dine a lot in London. My wife and I decided to go for Persian food which we found these guys and oh boy I did not regret it. The food we ordered came quiet fast and tasted so fresh and succulent. Never tasted such good food in London, well worth of visit or order!
The taste of their food made me to mention and compliment the chef on here!

Lovely food. Prompt service. Walking distance for myself and so really convenient for some food. Initially was quite busy and so noisier than I prefer but nothing that would put me off. Definitely stely my choice to go for food.

Great food, nice staff and super-quick service. We were going to a concert In the centre of town and Colbeh is on the way in. Only 10mins from THE NIA! we were lucky to get a table as they were fully booked but we were early... Book in advance if you can!!
The food is good and resent in this place . They have nice wine list . But the service and waitress atitutte was not good as food , they are rude generally.
Colbeh is truly amazing! If you are planning a function, you better enquire before booking as the size of the restaurant isn't that big. On the other side, the food was fantastic. I just miss the succulent grill as I'm writing this review. The meat was tender, fresh, well cooked and delicious. Nice setting for some Persian dishes, business meetings, date, little family functions.

I had the kebab torsh with chips and it was absolutely beautiful, tender meat just melting in the mouth. My partner had kebab koubided with rice, which was delicious. Hats off to the chef and our host Ashkan

We ate at 7.00 on a Saturday night. It was busy and noisy. The food was served too quickly because we'd finished eating by 7.40! We had some tea to spin out our evening to a whole hour!
I read the reviews before booking, which were very positive, tasty food, large portions, friendly service and good value.
The staff were friendly enough although didn't really engage.
My wife said that, although the ambience was be better here, the food was better at the nearby Iranian restaurant.
