Cohen Children's Medical Center, North Shore- Long Island Jewish Health System Review

I am actually in the hospital now for the first time and would highly recommend to any parents looking for the best care for their children.I came from another ER hospital who did an EXRay for my son's arm that showed fracture bone they had mentioned that might highly need a surgery we said that we wanted to take another openion.we immediately did a quick search and found this hospital on the internet. stuff, reception and doctors were very nice and professional took a good care of my son.God bless them all they helped ease my own worries for my son and diagnosed the condition in a timely manner.very thankful

Really I was advised that the hospital was very good but the emergency service leaves much to be desired I was with my son more than two and a half hours and the crying of pain and they simply told me that they did not have beds to take care of him we had to wait aside to make a hospital so big and so prestigious parking for emergency is not enough and really to my opinion in the emergency area leaves much to be desired

Nicu and picu are phenomenal with the most caring doctors and nurses ever. Completely in awe at their level of care and expertise. Thank you so much for saving my baby's life. God bless you all.

Our son had Neurosurgery with Dr. Mark Mittler last week. I was thoroughly impressed with Dr. Mittlers team, nursing staff in the PICU, administration staff, and even the security guards! Cohens has an intimate feel and less clinical/hospital vibe, which is a perfect setting for children and families. Everyone I was in contact with, was helpful, went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and put my mind at ease. Special thanks to Dr. Mittler who surpassed my expectations of a doctor! He s simply wonderful and I m forever grateful.
