The beers here are pretty solid. The Coconut Brown is really smooth, the bourbon barrel aged Imperial Stout is fantastic, and the Chips & Salsa Ale is refreshing. The downside is the service. The two servers spent a majority of their time behind the bar, clearly ignoring customers. Our glasses sat empty for over 10 minutes. When we asked if we had a server, we were met with a curt, "we float around." If you go, sit at the bar. It's the only place you get service.

Great beers and great pizza... however only three stars because the server can be a real Moody Trudy and we have been there many times. Great service and having a friendly attitude is one of the most important things in the food and beverage industry. If you are not treated well by your server the good food and beer won't make up for it. We finally stopped frequenting Cogstone because of it. :(

This place is good. Always packed. Great beer and the food is terrific! I recommend the pizza for sure. Service is usually terrific but when they get busy it can be a little slower. But, I will definitely go back and highly recommend.

The beers were really good! I would definitely suggest giving the chips and salsa beer a try!! It sounds weird, but actually really works and tastes exactly like chips and salsa! The staff was really friendly! The owners were cool! We tried the mango ham pizza, it had great flavor, but in my opinion needed something crunchy for a little texture. Overall, we had a really fun night here and I would definitely go back!!

I really enjoy coming here. The beer is always good with a nice variety of styles. I enjoy their Belgian styles. They have a guest taps that is always something of high quality & a cider tap. I hope they keep those up as they add to the experience. The pizza is wood-oven & really tasty. I've had most of the choices over the years. The Pizza of the Week can be especially interesting. (I've enjoyed Greek gyro & Reuben.) Trivia on Wed fills the place so be prepared. It's a fun night.

We've been to Cogstone 3 times now, and had consistent experiences. They have excellent pizza (especially the Karni) and especially delicious craft beer! The service is very friendly and prompt as well. It's even kid-friendly, except during Geeks Who Drink on Wednesday nights. It's also very reasonably priced without coupons (with coupons, it's a heck of a deal)!

Beers didn't have a lot of flavor. Server couldn't explain what a dubbel was and seemed irritated at my questions. We ordered a flight of 8 but only got to drink a flight of 7 because they "lost" the eighth beer so that was weird. We will not go back to this brewery.

Having moved to the Springs from Denver (the Bethlehem of Beer-Snobs), I was worried the microbrew scene would disappoint. Fortunately, it does not! Cogstone is well worth checking out, they have a Belgian Wit that is way more flavorful than it has any right to be and even the stouts and porters I often consider gimmicky (example: "Maple Bacon") were far better than expected. For fellow Denver-ites, think Copper Kettle for a vibe, but with a kitchen! The pizzas were on point, small, but more than enough as snacks for a group or dinner for one.

First off, I like wussy beers like Bud and Coors and Corona, and absolutely hate IPAs. That being said, I tried every beer @Cogstone and thought they were all great. The house IPA was perfect with the pizza and fries we got. I loved the apricot beer and the WitBier. The food menu is tiny but delicious. I was not expecting mainly pizza but it was awesome. Pricing was not bad at all considering how much food and beer we got.The service was excellent (Thank you, Mary!) and I highly recommend visiting soon.

The atmosphere inside is clean and updated with good music playing in the background. The tables and chairs are comfortable and of good quality. Our pizza was excellent! We like the one size pizza menu and the beer tasted good. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. We'll be back. Update - We were pleasantly surprised to see the expansion of the Cogstone Brewing Company on our last visit on 04/21/18. Looks like they've added 10 - 15 more tables and a small stage for live music! As usual, our food and service was top notch. Update - 09/21/18 - As usual, the pizza was delicious! However, on this visit, we were informed that if we wanted to drink water we had to serve ourselves. That's cool. Unfortunately, no one could keep the water pitcher full of water.

Jessie just spent so much time on the phone to make sure my wife's birthday is amazing. Even with seating shut down y'all give us a great meal and experience. Plus order the kids specials and your adorable dog will get a frisbee! Best place in town hands down. Love this place! Can't wait to walk over and drink when the covid closures end. Thank you cogstone, for the pizza and 32oz crowler, btw, your new burger is awesome!

Take a seat and listen up kids. I m about to tell you a story of the best damn pizza in Colorado Springs. That s right! Not only does this cozy location have a delicious selection of choice brews and friendliest service, they have the BEST PIZZA I have had since moving to Colorado. The dough is house made. The sauce is house made. The veggies are fresh cut. I m talking perfect 2 Amy s quality pizza (Washington, DC - check it out) Even if you re not a beer lover you can grab a Cogstone Rootbeer and order all the pizza pies. Enjoy!

These people make such great beer. They are so on point with the flavors..although the last time I had their cucumber cream ale it tastes like pickles...it must have been a bad batch. But everything else tastes wonderful. The only thing I wish they would do is use real plates and silverware instead of disposable ones.

My two recommendations if you're visiting Cogstone are have the pizza and try the chips and salsa beer. I know the latter sounds weird, but it's so surprisingly good. It's difficult to describe how, but it actually tastes like chips and salsa.

Wasn't impressed when I got there. But looks were totally deceiving. My wife reminded me most of our better experience came when we're not quite sure. Pizza was awesome loaded fries off the hook. Benign really good. And the Beer is stellar. To bad I live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland I'd be here all the time. Btw staff also totally awesome

We found this place on accident, and we couldn't be more pleased. The staff was super friendly, the beer was delicious, and the duck fat fries were everything I hoped they'd be. I tried the coconut brown, Irish red, raspberry gose, and apricot wheat. My husband had the oatmeal stout and IPA. They were all good. Very excited to know this place is biking distance from us. We'll definitely be back.

Went there for the first time this week and had an awesome trivia night... and it was the first place I got to use my Apple Pay at to checkout. Next time, we are going to think of an extremely inappropriate team name, just to see if the announcer will say it... but I m sure they will. Also.. not needing a credit card to hold for a tab is pretty trusting. One person in our group actually forgot to pay, but was kind enough to let us know before we left so we could cover it. Little tip... give the servers something unique to remember your name by. I really enjoyed my time there and will be returning. I would like to see the triple come back into play. Owner also walked around asking if any groups wanted a picture.

Belgian beer week!! Wow, right in my wheelhouse. These Belgians are among the best you'll find in town. All the beers have been spot on since day one. The service is great and the apmosphere very friendly. Of all the breweries in CS, Cogstone has risen to the top. (IMHO) Robert and Mark, great job putting this togather. Keep up the great work!

I'm not a beer snob so to say, but I do like local, craft brewed, beers. Every time I go to Cogstone, I get an amazing beer. They have a seasonal selection and a menu of regularly available flagship beers. Plus, the description on the menu really fits the beer. Oh, and they have some tasty pizzas!
