Very nice hotel, well located since it is right in the center of Rodney Bay, and 5 min walk from the beach. The pool is nice and very large. Impeccable service, professional and warm welcome. Cozy rooms. I recommend !

A few years back I flew in alone for a friend's wedding and no one at sandles could help me find my friends. The staff at the Coco took it upon themselves to make sure I was NOT going to be alone in a strange country and planned an itnerary for me on THEIR own off days. I ended up finding my friends because of the amazing staff here and I have am still friends with many of them. This place is a true gem!!!!

Beware of the rum punch!

Horrible front desk service. I asked to change rooms as soon as I saw the room they assigned for me and my fiance, and they did not want to help after complaint about the room being too small and ridiculously noisy. Room was not only small and noisy but shower water pressure was terrible and they totally forget about any guests that are assigned to the separate building. I will never stay here again if I ever come back to St. Lucia and I warn anybody who might want to try this hotel. There are absolutely much better options in Rodney Bay. I've seen short stay motels that had better rooms. Dont waste your time or money.

After reading quite a number of reviews about varying hotels in St. Lucia and speaking with my SAF's travel agent, we chose the Coco Palm Hotel with its all inclusive package. An efficient Expedia representative meet us at the airport and we were taken directly to the hotel. There is always some anxiety when you don't know what to expect, however from having a seamless check in, to being greeted with a delicious welcome drink, to the warm and friendly staff at reception and passing in the hallway, we knew we made the right choice. We had a poolview room with balcony, which was clean and cozy and kept spotless everyday. The staff at Ti Banane are warm, friendly and welcoming (we ate there every night), the nightly entertainment (we had live pan today at lunch as well) will have you either tapping a foot or shaking a leg or waist (lol). The food is absolutely delicious!!!! Coco Palm has EXCEEDED our expectations. We came tired and a bit anxious, however we are leaving rejuvenated, well rested, a little heavier....... lolll, happy and looking forward to returning. If you're looking for a family atmosphere, a home away from home, with a romantic setting, clean and cozy rooms, beautiful people, great entertainment and excellent food, Coco Palm is the place for you and yours. We will definitely be back! Thank you Coco Palm.

Service and location is pretty good. Watch out for the older rooms (Creole) that sit on the strip next to the noisiest bars in St Lucia (excluding local soundsystems of course). We asked to move and paid for a quieter room (which was a million times nicer too), which was worth it :)
if looking for a central location with access to all amenities then this cant be beat.

This place looks great on paper, but is mediocre and just about passable in reality

First, the positives - it's in a great location nearby to Baywalk mall and Rodney Bay Mall, both interesting and vibrant places with people keen to share the Gros Islet night life with you. The pool at the resort is also nice, being a good size with various depths, a decent internal temperature and very nice sunlight hitting it. The bar staff are also great, with most of them being quite charismatic and helpful.

However that's all I can really say is all that positive about this place. It advertises things that appear to be great but each thing has a significant hidden downside. For example the room we had was advertised as being in a great little Creole style block. What they didn't tell you is that the room itself is quite cramped, with a low ceiling and slightly lower and useless ceiling fan (the room had air conditioning) which me being 6ft tall would nearly bump my head into. The room was also overlooking a main road and had poor soundproofing, which meant we went to sleep to someone doing karaoke in a club over the street. The hot water in our room also took at least 10 minutes of continuous use to reach our room, forcing us to have cold showers as I made the mistake of turning the water off for a few seconds, restarting the 10 minute process.

Another issue I had is with the gym, which the hotel again proudly advertises. In reality the gym itself is very dingy and dirty in places, particularly on the weights which I held against my chest for a few minutes, resulting in a dirt patch on my shirt. It being indoors but open air resulted in one of the machines being covered with mosquitoes, about 5 of which came to life when I adjusted it for use. This is all not to mention a lot of the machines were slightly rusted or grimey, the Smith machine being so rusted the bar was unable to fall on it's own without a weight attached.

One of the stranger issues I had with with the concierge staff. While they were amenable when approached, one person we spoke to spoke so quietly we had to ask multiple times for him to repeat himself, and another had a habit of staring for a few moments before responding to us. Not huge problems but the staring came across unsettling. Outside of the bar staff I wouldn't say that any of them were "friendly", just "not rude" if that makes sense.

Another issue I feel I need to call out is the Wi-Fi on the resort. It does indeed exist, but it is so slow it's more or less useless for anything beyond WhatsApp messaging or calls. This could be a device level issue, but I feel it needs calling out regardless.

There were some other small issues (lack of a beach, not very knowledgeable waitresses, strangely expensive menu items) but those are the main ones to be aware of in my opinion. All in all, if you can get a room here for cheap, and don't care too much about the frills of a hotel in the Caribbean, then this place might be for you. Otherwise it may be worth paying the premium at another nearby resort to get a truly great experience.

As a side note, at the time of writing this, the all-inclusive prices of this hotel appear to be at least double or even triple the price of non all-inclusive. Do not get this, there are better hotels for far cheaper nearby to this location which are much more worth the money.

My wife and I had a lovely time at these resort, very lovely staff at the image of St Lucians in general. Good food, good service, 5 min walk from the Caribbean see and the water taxi which was quite fun to use to go and discover pigeon island or for a bit of snorkeling.
A very beautiful place on a very beautiful island indeed.

The hotel is ideally situated within walking distance to malls, the beach and restaurants and bars.
The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable the reception and general staff are courteous however, the customer service received from the in house resturant staff was a hit and miss, they were not as hospitable as the rest of the hotel staff I would have interacted with.

The property is well maintained, it's in the best conditions I saw in Caribbeans for this price. Staff is polite, food is tasty. While the hotel doesn't have access to the beach, it is just 5 minutes or so to walk. Steps to malls and restaurants. There was loud music from nearby restaurants some nights until 2am - closing the balcony door with turning A/C on fixes that.

We are still here as loving it - service is excellent, all the staff are polite and friendly, the food is excellent, out room is spacious and clean with a huge comfortable bed and a view of the pool, location is spot on with shops and the beach just a few minutes walk away.

Can t believe the horrible comment regarding the Maitre D, she is a charming lady who is very attentive in ensuring that all guests receive very good service.

Or the location which couldn t be better !

Lovely hotel, great people, fantastic food! Our kids had a blast and the staff were always willing to accommodate. Rooms were clean and comfortable. However, maybe some consideration to adjusting the menu to cater to people with food allergies. Our daughter wasn't able to have quite a lot there. Otherwise it was great.

Clean and comfortable with friendly staff. The pool is large and the beach is only a five minute walk away. Right in the centre of what's happening in Rodney Bay. I'd get bored in isolated resorts, not here!

It is nice and I liked it in general has a free wifi...but.
1. Restaurant- visited once had included 26$ worth dinner. Had pork baby ribs for 25$ that turned out to cost 30$ when taxes were included. They were 4 very small ribs with tiny amount of meat. Didn't visit it again - only for breakfast as it is buffet.
There is grocery shop near by and got my food from there.
2. 10am until about 3pm it is noisy in the corridors coming from chatter and work of the people maintaining the place and cleaning the room - was impossible to have a nap.
3. Everything was clean except my blanket - didn't had envelope and smelled like wasn't washed any time soon.

Stayed there for 2 nights only so someone else may have different opinion.

I booked the Coco Palm resort in St Lucia to celebrate making it to half a century and what a time I had! Hospitality at the Coco Palm was second to none! No matter what I asked for it was granted with a smile; they could not do enough to help and when it came to the day of my birthday ...WOW!! I spent the day at the beach with friends and when I returned to my room ...it was beautifully decorated with complimentary drinks and nibbles - what an amazing place! I can't wait to revisit and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting St Lucia. Head Concierge Peppy was sooo helpful; lovely young Amber couldn't do enough for us. The Manager - cannot remember her name - was excellent and a massive asset to the Coco Palm!! I can't wait to visit again! PWilliams

We just came back from 5 nights at Coco palm resort. Our trip was family reunion with 78+ people, lost track of numbers ,as you turn around this family keeps expanding ,like all good Catholic families. The venue was actually the best one ever,we do this every five years and so we have been to a few places.
The package we chose was all inclusive ,the meals were great, the bubbly was good ,the bar men were exceptional in dealing with so many adults and kids!!!
The beach is about 8 minutes walk from the resort and beach chairs can be rented from the locals on the beach which is a good way to contribute to the local industry. There is actually a hike that can be taken from that beach to a pond where fish eat the dead skin off your feet!! lovely forested walk. Go brave.
Mariane
PS I turned 60 whilst on the reunion and my bed was decorated with balloons and a cake was in the fridge when i got back from the beach!!
Thank you Coco palm !!

The staff at Coco Palm Resort is fantastic, they are very helpful and go the extra mile to ensure that your stay is enjoyable. The buffet breakfast is topnotch and provides you with a taste of the local cuisine. The hotel is ideally located close to the beach, shopping areas, nightlife and transportation into the city. The hotel is not modern, but well maintained. Well worth the stay.

Don t believe the pictures it s nothing like the pictures. You have to walk 10 minutes to the beach. The beach is not connected to the hotel. Nothing to do. The hotel is old and out dated. The rooms are tiny. The staff is not informative at all. Don t waste ya stay or money.
