COAST Review

Called twice to warranty a flashlight that failed on me. Left a message and no answer despite providing phone number and email address.

Best flashlights I have ever owned, and I have many. The polysteel 600 has been awesome for several years now (and I don't even bring it inside out of the weather). I recently purchased the HP550 with 1075 lumens and believe this to be the best light I've ever owned. Good job!

px25 why cant the engineering dept. fix the on off button on the best flashlight on the market? for carrying on your belt, I keep getting it because once in a while it will work for months, of course the next one for maybe a week, send in for warranty and same thing. come on just upgrade the switch. Please

Absolutely fantastic products.! I use Coast flashlights on a daily basis as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer working on helicopters. These products are used all of the time during inspections. Extremely high quality and durability. I couldn't be happier with the level of their products. I recently had some issues with one of my flashlights. I got a response right away and warranty with no questions asked. The lifetime warranty is great and I really appreciate a company in today's age with customer service quality like theirs. Well done and I look forward to purchasing more products in the future.!

Customer service is outstanding. I've owned many COAST products and the quality is unmatched. I never had an issue with one of their products until about a year of hard daily use on my Polysteel 600r. The flashlight still worked flawlessly, but the lens was so scratched up and foggy from daily abuse as a diesel mechanic. Normal wear and tear isnt covered under their lifetime warranty, so I emailed customer service and told them the condition of my flashlight lens and asked if there was a way I could purchase just the lens for my flashlight since I couldnt find it online anywhere. Within a few days I get an email back stating they do not sell that lens separate, but seeing as I said the lens is foggy the employee suggested I ship the light to them so they could take a look at it and replace it under warranty. Mind you I believe 90% of the damage to the lens was caused by my daily abuse. I shipped the light to them knowing there was a good chance they may not warranty it after seeing the damage since I caused it. Less than 2 weeks from the day I shipped it from my address I get a package delivered to my house. I open the box unaware of what it was since I had not ordered anything. No questions asked, they shipped me a BRAND NEW Polysteel 600r in a box complete with battery packs and accessories. I shipped them the bare flashlight, no batteries, no accessories. So long story short I contacted them to purchase replacement parts at my cost since the damage seemed to be caused by me, and instead was emailed back to send it in and they would gladly warranty the flashlight. Most companies refuse to warranty an item when you contact them telling them there is an issue with the product that is in the terms of the warranty, but COAST went out of their way to warranty an item I had no intentions of sending in for warranty. One of the best customer service experiences I've ever had. Not to mention the quality of their flashlights is incredible. Some of them may be on the high $$$ side, but worth every penny. Their rechargeable batteries can last a very impressive amount of time with the flashlight on high, and the distance some of these lights can shine amaze me. Great company, great products. They earned my business.

I own numerous COAST flashlights and knives. I lost the battery cap to one of the lights and contacted customer service when I couldn't find a replacement part to purchase on their website. Within hours (and I'm on the east coast) I received an email from Alex Davis from customer service. Two weeks later a complimentary replacement came in the mail. Can't beat it. Many thanks.

Excellent customer service. Happy to support a local company. They stand behind their product without the runaround of registering your product, need a receipt, etc. I will recommend whenever possible.

THE ABSOLUTE BEST WARRANTY AND NO QUESTIONS ASKED! I'm blown away right now.i sent in 2 lights that were having issues and the turn around was like a week! I currently own probably 20 coast product and will continue to purchase many more! I just wish all businesses operated like COAST! thanks guys!!!

I have a Coast PX25 flashlight I carry around on my belt. The belt holder recently tore, so I called Coast and spoke with the receptionist. She was very kind, and said she would handle the problem for me. I gave her my address, and figured I would receive a catalogue indicating how I could order another belt holder. Not the case... she, on behalf of Coast, sent a NEW BELT HOLDER... FREE... no questions asked! Who does that anymore? Coast did! I love the flashlight, and now I believe firmly in the company. I will buy another flashlight from Coast again.

Hands down 5 star 100% percent satisfied!! Coast has never ever let me down with their no hassle customer service and lifetime warranty. Me and anybody around me are Coast Products users and we all are very happy with their products. Thank you guys for being Great and standing behind your products. NOT HAPPY AT ALL

For years i have been using the HP7 flashlight. Today I go to replace it and the stinking thing doesn't even come with the belt holder any more.. 54 dollars and Coast Products can't even toss in the 2 buck belt holder? A product I used to like and a company I thought had quality is now out the window with me thanks to the lack of a belt holder they used to give you for free......

I work for Procter and Gamble in Oxnard CA. We get flashlights from Fastnal a logistic company who runs our parts warehouse. I have gone to store room and asked for a hand held light and we are given a Coast Px25. A $40 flashlight. They work for about a week. I change out the batteries thinking the batteries are dead. I end up tapping the light on a hard surface and twisting the cap until I see a light. This works for a couple of days and the light completely fails. What a piece of junk. I would be embarrassed to produce a light like this and put my name on it. Rob Lovato.

I bought a set of headlamps of Coast's at Costco several years ago. They performed so well that I bought a second set so everyone in my family could have one and we could have emergency ones in our cars! After several years of heavy use, one stopped working. I was surprised to learn they were still under warranty. I contacted them and there was a no hassle return! It's rare to have a good quality product that the manufacturer actually stands behind these days!

I have been using COAST products since I found them in 2014 and I have yet to be disappointed! Their innovative products, of which I own several are durable and dependable. I have used them in the air, on the water and land in all types of situations where my life depended on being able to see. Their knives are a quality way above their price point and I literally carry and use one every day. US military veteran - Army Infantry.

Love the fact that I could take my headlamps back because of a malfunction and just get new ones.

I just bought a "Coast" HL4 at Home Depot and as prominently stated on the packaging, came with 3 "Duracell" AAA batteries - unfortunately all 3 batteries were dead (checked at 0.3v) - I hate getting ripped off but I need the light today so I'll have to use 3 new batteries at my loss. I won't be buying another "Coast" product.

Product is good (own 4 different coast flashlight). Two of the flashlight went bad and it got replaced, good customer service.
