I loved the tour. We were lucky to meet one of the news anchors as well.
I wish they show could more of the studio with some interactive attractions. Its a lot of security protocols (honestly don't think it has to be that intensive) and few quick talks at different parts of the building. The ceremonial photo session and expensive marketing at the end of the tour
We were very curious to visit CNN to see what is "behind" but it was half a disappointment: apart from the rough way in which security treated our backpacks and contents, the tour was brief and not very significant (they just showed us how they make the weather forecast)
Not worth for money i think CNN need to show live new show or reduce tour money
It is a nice place to eat while watching cnn. The tour shows you a little of how everything is but not very deep, you only enter a studio, the others you see from outside
Had to take off my belt for security. Seemed a bit unnecessary.
Nice place to visit and grab some lunch many food options.
Decent tour. They answer questions well. Just don't get suckered into buying a picture.
Despite the fact the media being in a tailspin for integrity, this was a really interesting tour. I miss the days of Bernie Shaw, Chuck Roberts, Bobbi Batista...and so many others. The good days of CNN.
At the end of the tour I asked how much fake news they make an hour. They didn't answer. Regardless still a cool place to see in action. With all the police around it really made you feel safe. Lol. Cool place.
Neat to see behind the scenes of CNN, but the tour lacked anything unique. I expected to walk onto some sets, but all we did was peer into the windows. (even the empty sets)
Went on a sightseeing tour of the studio it was amazing
Fun and informative behind-the-scenes tour. As a bonus, it starts with the world's longest free standing escalator.
Great to be able to see how it all works and I even got to meet Carl Azus from CNN Student news by tweeting him.
Awesome tour! Had a lovely time. Wish we could've taken pictures inside but i understand why we can't
Great and informative experience .. but it's not really worth $19
The food court was very convenient. The tour staff and front desk could've been friendly.
Always a fun stop. Informative and great for stopping in for something to eat.
Great place where you can watch how the news happens, there is 2 type of admissions , regular 15$ and vip 33$ ,its worth it ,its like going inside movie making process,if you are in town you should really visit
it was amazed to visit the CNN headquarter one day .
Had a decent time during our CNN studio tour! A little boring but very cool to see!
Newly updated.. Several food options. Interesting for visitors to see behind the scenes.
Very interesting to understand what CNN is doing and how they do everything they do
Great atmosphere, a lot of places to eat, great tours.
Very nice tour showing the history of CNN and how they produce content and a bird's eye view of many of their employees at work gathering news or getting things ready too be used. Didn't see any celebrities. You're forbidden from taking pictures after stop 2 of 7. They actually have people watching you like hawks so you don't take a picture. On some stops, I don't know what was so top secret to ban photos.
Not happy one of the news casters/anchors didn't come to say hello.
This tour was with the City Pass. This review gets an add'l star for the food courts variety of choices. The money saved on the Zoo, Aquarium, Coke and FernBank, this was a freebie! Don't waste ur time taking the tour especially if ur disabled or imparied. There is no elevator for tourist to use. Our friend is handicapped(MS) but managed to walk about 12 flights of steps that weren't mentioned in the description of the tour. The food court was more entertaining! Everything is behind glass, no interaction of any kind with employees or a passer-by. Security is on high alert. Lol Every corner we turned they were right there like Fort Knox! Makes you wonder....
Not interesting enough, rude guide and unclear views of supposedly interesting program production. Lame.
It was a fun time for a couple hours. Didnt go into as much detail as I'd hoped but not a waste of time either
Wow showed up and they were super rude. Can t believe. I want to get them five stars but they erased three at the smack in the face
The guide we had was great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. This was a highlight of our trip to ATL.
It's an interesting tour, but when we went quite a few things weren't working and our tour ended up taking about 20-25 minutes instead of 50. Everything is kind of dated. Definitely not a tour I'd do twice!
I don t recommend it!
They never upgrade and your isn t any exiting because you don t really get to see what s going on
Closed off for repairs and such. Only 3 stars because I had to pee and I need them to install an emergency stall on the bottom floor. Those elevator lines were out of this world
Nice to see what happens behind the scenes. Great for kids and adults!
I had a great time. I do wish the tour was longer. We were in the HLN studio, I was just processing where we were off in the back where those desks are. When all of a sudden Lynne Smith turned around. I started giggling, I couldn't help it. Luckily they had just gotten off air. I was surprised by where I was and then shocked to see an anchor I watch in a regular basis. She asked me why I was giggling, all I could do was a cheesy smile and wave my hands. She was so nice about it. Good memory!
Great experience at the CNN Studio Tours. Our guide, Bryant, was very informative. If you're visiting Atlanta, i strongly suggest you add the CNN Studio Tours to your go to list. The only thing I failed to understand was: why were there so many police officers accompanying us throughout our CNN tour? The security there was literally more than in airports.
You learn about how TV works but it was kind of boring.
The tickets are less than $20. The tour guide lets you go behind the scenes to watch CNN staffers in action. A photographer takes a picture of you while you hold a mic and pretend to be a news anchor. The merchandise is cute and it's location is convenient to hotels and local attractions such as the Georgia Aquarium.
Well for 15 dollars you won't get anything out of this world. The tour could be added more improvements.. It's not so interesting.
My expectations were big but the experience was poor. The guide was a little bit rude with people who had babies
Beautiful place. Nice to know and walk through CNN
Personally, I think it is most exciting tour in Atlanta. I am biased, having worked at CNN for 11 years. The spirit of Ted Turner lives at CNN Center even if Ted now resides on nearby Ted Turner Street. Great for all ages.
It's very informative if you are really interested. The guided tour starts with an airport kind of security screening. Then stand on the world longest escalator, I think, from the ground floor all the way up to globe, maybe 8th floor. Then take some group photos and sit inside a room for a short film about the control room. Then enter to another illustrative news room to demonstrate how people make the news room work. After that there are some walks to the outside of different rooms and offices. You can't enter any real broadcast rooms. Just stand outside and look through the glass. The tour ends up with another short video. There is a hug CNN sign outside of the building that you have to take some photos with.
It wasn't bad. I think its priced to high and was a little boring to be honest. Five to ten tops for a 15 minute tour.
Very neat tour of the building. Armed guards go with you. No photos or video past the first stop on the tour.
I love it! My favorite section was the adult swim because I am a HUGE Rick and Morty fan. There was also a Rick display there and I was able to take a picture with Rick so that was super fun.
YOUR 1995 IRANIAN INSTAGRAM STAR OF DESERT STORM WAR IS JOHN KERRY
We didn't get to go on a studio tour, but the place itself is a sight to see. My son lost his mind when he saw the 12 foot tall We Bare Bears statue outside the Cartoon Network store.
Big place. Gives you the feel of news boradcasting empire.
Very cool to tour to see how news is made, got to see some cool tech they used, save some cash and get the combo ticket to world of coke
I learned a lot but have had more in-depth tours in other places.
This is a different experience and fun. You get to see behind the scenes of live news casting koala tour guide explains how everything works
It really was a big disappointment. The location was under significant renovation and they shouldn t be doing tours at this stage. Also most of the CNN shows and reporting is now done in Manhattan so there isn t much to look at anyway.
CNN Center is the world headquarters of CNN. The main newsrooms and studios for several of CNN's news channels are located in the building
Was a cool, but okay experience. Learned a few things. 50 minutes tour where they briefly explain what goes on behind the scene before going live and a brief history about CNN.
Visit on weekdays before 4pm tour to see live programs. Don't go on weekends or holidays as all work stations will be empty.
Warning for seniors: you have to climb down 8 floors by steps only by the end of the tour.
Excellent, loved it. Always wanted a tour of a broadcasting station. Even though we were restricted to certain parts but something is better than nothing. Got a nice insight into the workings of a global News giant. Also our tour guide Paddy was excellent. Very friendly personality and answered all our questions with patience and smile. Give her a raise.
My experience with CNN tour is specifically to understand how brocasting of CNN works across all world. What kind of technology they used to do this without much hurdles..All my queries was addressed after visiting this centre..It's amazing place to visit and understand the media world..it's really stunning experience for me..
Did not take the tour. Just wanted to be inside the building but liked it.
Our tour guide was very informative. We loved leaning about what goes into making the news everyday
CNN tour was good! We found the tour to be a fun tourist attraction. An informative, intro movie would have helped give more true media background. Our tour guide was good but we craved more solid information about the day-to-day working of CNN. Loved seeing the Spanish CNN room and would have loved more information on this area of the company. Worth a visit for sure!
