Amazing place to check out! The construction is very neat!
There is not much content or new content. There is no Chinese commentary. Chinese tourists account for almost half.
Great tour but they dont allow photography at most stops and time is wasted on going 5 floors of stairs.
Very, very cool place. The ammount off food stores, is also very impressive. Well worth a visit.
If you have never seen a broadcast station, it is ok to pay $15 for a 50-60 min tour. The building itself is quite ugly with even worse selection of cheap eats inside, why can t they put something remotely modern hip and fun like Ponce City Market inside the big atrium? The tour guy was informative and efficient, I had more fun touring the world of Coca Cola.
Great tour to learn about how news is compiled and delivered to us
CNN Tours is fun to try. Longest escalator we interesting.
Loved the tour and the tour guide was very entertaining, worth the time and money.
Was at the source of FakeNews.... LOL!!! It was an interesting tour.
Never liked CNN . Can't depend on them being truthful.
Fun and interesting tour. See how the news is made. Tour guides are generally knowledgeable and interesting.
It is interesting for those who master the English language and like the telecommunications area
This was pretty cool. We had a good guide and they take you through the various newsroom observation platforms. Got a good historical overview of the network too.
Excellent tour! I had a fantastic time here, amazing how they work so hard in there! I would love to do their job at least for one day to have the experience, it's really amazing, also the staff it's very friendly!
Pretty fun tour! Definitely worth the cost of admission, would definitely do it again.
This is the second time I went through the tour. Both times it was very good.
The tour was great. Got a chance to meet some really cool people.
The tour is short, interesting but you cannot take pictures during the tour. I wish they have more interactive stations for kids. Our tour guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and fun.
The CNN tour is a must for anyone interested in how journalism works. It gives a very insightful behind-the-scenes look at broadcasting along with some rich history of Ted Turner got it all started. Shoutout to my man Taylor!
Our tour guide was incredible. We really enjoyed it. It was short, direct and full of information. Exactly what I want from a news network.
I had a very enjoyable getaway to ATL during the Bronner Brothers Summer Hair show 2017
Amazing tour! Very educational, our tour guide was awesome!
We had fun with this. The route was fun and informative. The only problem with the tour was the group size didn't always fit in the areas they wanted to stop and talk.
The restaurants were good, but the CNN still never be honest.
Long waits and walks, but nothing substantial to see. Definitely not the anchors broadcasting live.
Tour not particularly worth it, not enough history given. Building is very cool.
I totally disappointed about CNN, I was thinking the tour would be better and no. They dont show you enpught thing so really there better thing to do than this in atlanta the cocacola world is too better.
It's a very interesting facility but unfortunately the tour is subpar. I learned very little and the tour was over in like 15 minutes plus there was no sort of interaction of any sort. You spend 1/3 of this tour just trying to get through the security checkpoint. Over all I'd say you're better off just saving your money.
Enjoyed visiting 3 years ago. Wouldn't go back though.
A studio tour is essential although there is oldness since the Atlanta Olympics.
2 options for tours. Regular tour can include up to 45 guests, which I think is too many. You can only take pictures at 2 points on the tour and there are security guards at every point to make sure you don't take pics. Escalator up 8 floors, stairs down. Not bad at all. Our guide knew his stuff.
Average place. Unless you delight in history of this kind. The food court is nice.
Great place to grab lunch after a long morning around downtown.
The tour was great! Way better than I had expected. I went as a class field trip.
My husband is a huge CNN watcher. So i thought it would be pretty neat to tour the studios while we were in Atlanta. They allow military (with proper id) in free and give discounts to family. The tour was 45 minutes long. Im not sure if this is common practice but our group of about 15 people was rushed through the entire tour. The tour guide lady kept looking at her watch and announcing how we need to 'keep it moving.' Thus the reason for the 3 stars. Getting to ride the world's longest frestanding escalator was pretty neat. Getting to see the floor where all the news has to pass through was pretty cool too.
I really enjoyed. I did the VIP tour and it was great. Very informative. Matt was our guide and he was very positive and knowledgeable
Tour is long and boring , kind of interesting to see everything behind the scenes though. Would only half-heartedly recommend.
Informative tour and cool to see the amazing behind-the-scenes in person.
Kind of boring, on the unexpected side good place for lunch
25$ for the tour.big place.many choice of restaurants inside.
This tour was a find! Atlanta was never my initial vacation destination (I had a problem with my flight and ended up staying in Atlanta for a few days). And being there, I looked for tourist spots and CNN was one of them. It was very surprising to be inside an American communication vehicle. I loved the tour and the stories. There's even a photo / pose that you take on the CNN stand as if you were the journalist. Very playful!
The tour was amazing and really informative. I recommend this for people want to know more about the behind the scenes effects of CNN
On the 50 minute tour you can see some studios and learn a lot about CNN.
This was a fun tour, and it was interesting to see some of CNN's broadcast facilities, but I didn't really feel it was worth what they charged. You start out riding up the world's largest continuous escalator, which was kind of cool, and then they do photos of you and your party for purchase at the end of the tour. Normally I dislike things like that, but they managed to get a good picture of all four of us, which is really rare, so props for that! Then they tell you a little about how broadcasting works, and you get to watch a panel of screens being used for a live broadcast. After that you get to walk around and look in on some newsrooms and some broadcast studios - interesting, but I still probably wouldn't pay to do it a second time.
Love the CNN Center in the heart of Downtown Atlanta. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Hope to God I can work here soon!
It's a nice tour but it's shorter and you get a lot less out of it than you used to.
I didn't go on a tour, but I did visit the building often for food. Many different food options to choose from & I really wanted to go into the Cartoon Network store, but I was there for Walker Stalker Con, so I had to save my $ for that.
Kind of cool but not really worth the cost. Best part: you get to ride up the longest freestanding escalator. They show you behind the scenes on how the news is made. It's moderately informative and some of the stuff is cool, but it's mostly meh. It'd be worth it if it was $10, but not at the price it's at.
Fantastic. Anybody visiting Atlanta should try to visit this place
Excellent tour from inside CNN Studios got to watch live show
Our visit to the CNN Center in Atlanta was a blast!
We started off with the VIP tour of the building which includes access to live news rooms, control rooms and so much more. I recommend spending the extra money for this tour versus the basic tour.
Did you know that the escalator pictured above in the largest free standing escalator in the world according to the Guinness Book of World Records?
Such a fun experience just for that alone.
People said "See the College Football Hall of Fame. See the Aquarium." But being a news junkie and my wife being curious of anything Trump dislikes we went in the CNN tour. It was the day of the Las Vegas mass shooting. I hoped to walk through the news rooms, the set, and get a glimpse of the news anchors. We did that but from far removed hallways with glass dividers sometimes with peer holes. So you are never are in the room where the action is taking place. Despite the big news day our tour was like every other tour. My suggestion, go see everything else and if you still have time and money, go tour CNN.
Although we enter the center alone without doing the tour, the place looks impressive.
