This showroom waste my 4 days.i explain first every thing about my visa everything. They said do not worries we can.then approved my finance they said we deliver your car after couple days. All paper work done. Am waiting my car. Bt at delivery day send me email your finance cancel. Reason your visa. Am shocked and feel bad. Why they play with me like as game.

I purchased a second hand Camry Hybrid from Blake at CMI and it was so easy. They were straight forward with no hidden surprises and everything was taken care of. I simply turned up on Saturday and drove the car away.

How can we trust you to service our cars? The next service due date sticker is blank. I had to call and try to figure out when the next service is due.

These people seem to be there to pick low hanging fruit. I was told the ball joints at 125 k needed replacing. I asked for a quote in writing. Then I got a second opinion: no problem. So I went back to CMI who denied they'd said there was a problem or had quoted. But it's there in writing. I was told my drive shafts needed replacing at 142000 kms, got a quote and then a second opinion: the drive shafts were fine. Let me add I had an extended warranty with Toyota finance to 150,000 kms but they refused to honour the replacement of the drive shafts fortunately there was no need. It's time this company was flushed down the toilet.

Utterly disappointed! I wouldn t even give it one star. We sent the car in for a wash on 6/1/2020. Was told that there would be a wait for about 45 mins. but instead we waited for 2 hours plus! And guess what! We walked out and to our horror the car was still out there not washed! Everyone that came in after us had left and the excuse was oh they just missed our car, because someone that moved the car left the keys in the ignition. No one bothered to followed up knowing we were there waiting for 2 hours plus. Had we not went out to check, we would probably be sitting there till closing time. Really did expect a better standard from them. Can t believe we drop in at about 11:15am and only left after 2pm. No one seem to be apologetic about it. Just while we were waiting for the car to be washed at the beginning we were looking around the showroom and thinking of an upgrade in toyota. But after this, we have definitely changed our minds.

Long waiting time to get the car washed, it took an hour to have mine done. I don't use their service department any more as they always stuffed up in the past. I go to South Side CMI Toyota nowadays.

Bad customers service, waiting for half an hour inside the car for a Service Advisor. 3 of them choose to ignore my waiting number to serve those who arrived before me. No explanation given eventhough I complained about it. No courtesy call received from them after the service was completed. First time coming across this bad experience.

Been trying to get in touch for 2 weeks now. Every time i call, either business manager is not available or his/her phone is on voice mail. Thanks i will take my money somewhere else. If that is the service you get before purchase, reckon what would you be getting once you buy a car.

Terrible service. Booked a Hilux in for a 24 month...

Terrible service. Booked a Hilux in for a 24 month service, the booking person checked and confirmed they could do the job on a saturday but i would have to wait two weeks.
Arrived early saturday mornung told the 24 month service had expired and he wanted to do the small 40k service instead. Complained and finally they agreed to do the service that was booked. But no they wont have time to finish it so you can come pick it up monday or they just wont check the valve clearance.
I work away all week which is why i book things in an make sure they can be done.
So now they are going to do a half a service because they cant complete the work thet said they could on a saturday.

This review has two parts, one about used car sales (4.5 stars) and one about regular service (3 stars). I updated this review after the problem with sales was resolved.

Recently I bought a used car from West Tce CMI, which started off poorly and initially I left 2 star review before I gave CMI team a chance to put things right. I should have contacted them first, because they were happy to fix things up.
Despite assurance that CMI used vehicles are safety checked one front tyre was completely bald on the outer edge and was not legal, and tree other tyres were barely legal. This turned out to be due to a mistake and I was offered more than adequate solution. 5 stars for handling the mistake!
Also I misunderstood additional 3 year 75k km warranty conditions and bought the warranty. After understanding the conditions I asked for refund and they were happy to cancel and refunded (minus processing/admin fee). This seems very reasonable.

Initially the bald tyre prompted this review, but while at it, I wrote about service department too.

Sometimes service runs ok without surprises. But I had few services go badly wrong with pickup timing. I leave them my car to get serviced for the entire day so they can work on it as convenient. I even ask them if they can't finish it on the day to just call and tell me to collect it the next day. I don't like to rush a mechanic. But they still cause long pickup delays.

With one service I made a mistake of asking to replace 2 tyres. First they called me that they did not have the tyres they quoted me on and on the phone we agreed on different tyres and the price. They called me to pickup my car. It took me 30 minutes to get there and then I had to wait for over one and a half hours to collect my car. I was offered explanation that CMI do not do tyres inhouse (which is odd because they had tyres on display), but took my car to another tyre shop near by. So the delay was to do with waiting for the tyre shop to bill CMI so they can bill me, even though I was given a fixed quote on the phone.

Unfortunately bad after service collection timing experience was not limited to tyres. There were other times (not every time) where I was told on the phone that the vehicle is ready for collection, I'd take time off my work to make my way there and I'd have to wait for up to an hour for the vehicle to actually be ready. I'm not talking about waiting in line of customers to pay and collect their cars, which I can understand, but no, I'm talking about the vehicle actually not being ready after being told it is and taking time off work to travel there just to sit and wait.

Friendly atmosphere. Spoken to by a very personable salesman within 30 seconds of entering the showroom. He was very informative without being pushy
. Most importantly he was a good listener and answered all my questions.
I rate the experience in all aspects as five star.

Booked our Toyota Corolla Ceca (S162AJX) for our 90000 kms Service. The next day we managed to arrive before the 5.20pm CMI close. After paying for the service, my wife drove home as I followed her in my car for the 4 km trip but on the way home my wife observed that the Corolla drove sluggish. Upon arriving home found fresh engine oil drops/spills along our driveway and within garage a pool of fresh engine oil.

I immediately took photo then emailed CMI Toyota Adelaide. Next morning drove my wife to work in my car, then upon returning home checked the corolla and found the cold engine oil dip stick had double the oil level. When attempting to start the engine, the engine turned over very slow as if under internal combustion pressure. When CMI Toyota Adelaide promptly responded to my report, they promptly provided a tow truck to return the Corolla to CMI Toyota Adelaide. Next Day CMI Toyota Adelaide reported that is was not an overfull oil fault, but excessive carbon deposits within the engine combustion chamber CMI then cleaned the spark plugs and purged the excessive fuel.

The battery cover lugs that secure the cover had also gone missing to which CMI mailed out.

In conclusion, it was indeed a frustrating service, where the Corolla came out worst than before is went in, however CMI Toyota Adelaide responded quickly to the faults .

Update -9/11/2018

My wife came home last week and reported over warm engine with engine warning light on. Given the past fault and CMI's past high standard response, CMI promptly towed her car back to CMI. CMI conducted extensive tests over three days and even provided an "boss drive home over night and back test" drive and all reported good. CMI kindly confirmed the engine had been overfilled. CMI then kindly arranged the Corolla to be towed home.

Given there was no guarantee of no long term engine damage, we have now disposed the corolla for another car.

Great service, excellent cbd drop off service and clear communications. Not the cheapest, but certainly one of the best Toyota service centres we've come across with our Landcruiser in 3 states over the last 2 years. Keep going :)

Very disappointed, I am a loyal customer but will no longer be servicing with CMI Toyota. I find it suspicious that I drive out of CMI after getting a major car service and work done on my breaks, and my car no longer accelerates correctly. Sure enough the next day the car breaks down and has to be towed in, I wait 3 more days for it to get looked at and apparently it's just a rare event and not caused from the service, even though my car was running completely fine before going into Toyota.

This happened while negotiating on toyota camry today where my quoted price was less than two thousand their asking price. I can t believe that a Toyota representative will fall so low from their level.

Toyota leadership team must take notice of Ben s attitude towards customer. He was very agressive and disrespectful. You have a wrong person representing Toyota at this prestigious level.

Poorest, most unprofessional car service, don t trust them. Spent $460.00 for car service, coolant had not even been topped up( coolant level reaches Min when car was sent to service). Wheels keep giving noise when use break after service, this has been told them to check from the beginning. The next service is supposed to be one year later according to Toyota service book, but the service slip they issued indicates next service is 7 months later.
I want to have service with Toyota to keep the genuine parts. I paid higher fee and not even got coolant, I wonder what else they forgot or lull over. Even the engine oil Is most possibly not the genuine one.
I called them to report, and no one gets back to me or follows up. Is this not the worst car shop in Adelaide?
