Great place, artsy, classy, the place for an elegant date. I had a great time there. They were so busy, that some of my selections were out of stock, but the alternatives were quite satisfying. You'll like it there too, and so will your date.

Great service stained by shady pricing strategy. The food was fine, the server was incredibly kind and helpful. However the Caesar's Salad was priced at around $5 bucks. "Do you want steak, chicken or shrimp with that?" Sure, shrimp please. When the bill came, our collective jaws dropped. $18.59. ALMOST TRIPLED THE COST OF THE SALAD. That is by far the most expensive 4 shrimps we have ever bough. Ruined the lunch for us. The server did her best to offset that cost, but i do not agree with this practice on principle. It's just ridiculously shady. Will be avoiding this restaurant, despite its amazing location. Buyer beware. Do not go off-menu here.

Service is outstanding! We hadn't been in a very long time but we needn't have worried. Clyde's still has "it". Views of lake are beautiful, food is delicious, but it's the service that makes this place a 5 star restaurant. We had a drink at the bar first and bartender was friendly and attentive. For our meal we never once had to look for our server. Flawless sevice.

I came here with a big group for my Grandma's birthday recently and we loved it! The waiter was very attentive and the food was amazing all around. They accommodated for our group with a private room in the back, which I considered very thoughtful. Will return soon for another great dinner!

My and my gf were there last Sunday in the evening , as soon as we arrived we got greeted by a hostess with a big smile , we got seated within 10 minutes , patio was a little full but they still managed to get us seated really fast , we tried a couple cocktails and apps they were really good , not to mention the service was great !!
It s rare to see managers hands on , cleaning tables and guiding their staff , I used to be in the industry for a while and seeing those kind of things it gives me hope that there s still good managers out there not just bossing ppl around , whoever that guy and the other lady are !! Big shout out to you and to your staff , y all are doing a great job keeping everything clean and outstanding costumer service .

My wife and I had dinner tonite at Clydes in Columbia. Service was poor and slow. Our waiter was obviously new and still learning (I hope). We started with a glass of soda water dumped off of his tray all down the front of me and all over the table. He was very apologetic but it was quite an ordeal. They brought out my salad and it was supposed to be a large salad but turned out to be a small. They eventually brought out a large one but it was a while. No offer to refill drinks. We had to ask twice. No bread offered with our meals. We ordered 2 take-out burgers. The bacon burger was ordered Well Done and it ended up being medium rare. Not even close. My daughter wouldn't eat it and we were obviously not there to ask for a fix. The veggie burger was served on a table instead of take-out as ordered so we then had to wait for that. Next, no plastic wear in the bags. We asked for that and had to wait. No ketchup was offered and we waited for that. We ordered a coffee to go and that took forever. My steak was small and over cooked and my wife's crab cakes were dry with no sauce of any kind. Highly disappointing meal. I have been in the area for 27 years and have eaten at Clydes many times. This was a big step backwards.

I have gone here with my uncle for years and I have never had a bad meal here. The wings are amazing, their alcohol selection is great, and the rotating menu will keep every visit fresh. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also great with the old fashioned play posters and the beautiful scenery by the waterfront. Great seafood selection, and the pasta is also amazing. They have something for everyone here

Clyde's is a Columbia institution. The food is consistently good and the service is more professional than most restaurants. I'd love to see a happy hour and a few more beers on tap, but I don't think they feel like they have to do that. And they're probably right.

The ambiance was nice. I ordered the crab & artichoke dip and BBQ pork belly. I really wasn't impressed. The dip was not what I expected, it was very dry. The BBQ pork belly was average and we did receive the fried sweet potatoes. The drinks were very good. We ordered burgers for entree's and they very tasty. Next time I will try a different appetizer.

Not sure why this place is so highly rated. The location is good but the food is terrible and over priced and the service is mediocre. Not a repeat unless it's to just sit outside with a cocktail.

Went for lunch. Food and service was poor. Took 30 minutes to bring us our drinks. Jumbo lump crab cake was a little bigger than a silver dollar, about 1/2" thick and more mush than lump. Terrible experience.
