Super helpful, honest and professional - quickly diagnosed an issue with my mac and then advised me to give Apple a quick call with the details before booking it in to see if I could get it fixed for free with them. Managed to get it fixed for free by a technician who came to the house! I massively appreciate the honest advice and wouldn t hesitate to recommend them!
Nim and his team have always gone above and beyond for myself and clients that I represent in the area. When we walk in him and his staff always greet us and everyone we see there by name.
At times it can be busy and Nim still finds the time and puts in the effort to care for everyone in his shop.

Brought an adapter during a busy period. Had called up previously to put aside an apple one. Was told that other brand on hand would be fine. It didn t work which is disappointing as we brought it for being rained in and now we have nothing.

I came in to buy some head phones on my lunch break and was so shocked, heart broken and appalled at an employee being yelled at by his manager. Totally ignored me when I walked in as the (assumed) manager was scolding an employee, continued huffing and slamming things on the counter throughout the whole interaction, and blaming this poor guy. I came away so upset I didn t stick up for him and can t say I ll be coming back. No one deserves to be spoken to like that, let alone your employee, not to mention how unprofessional it is to treat someone like that in front of a customer.
As a Byron Bay based business, I have dealt with Clix Computers for many years, purchasing several computers from them.
The service when I buy the computers is excellent, they always consider the best priced option for us, we have never paid too much.
in addition the after sales service is second to none, today I had a problem and within the hour my problems were fixed in person at my premises.

I would not recommend this place at all. Highly unprofessional.
I dropped in my Mac laptop with a keyboard disfunction and after having to take it back to them 3 times as the problem was not fixed but made worse, the technician advised me that my laptop had "just died". They couldn't explain why or what had happened and said there was no point keeping it. Then they tried to charge me for their services.
I decided to seek a second opinion and dropped my laptop into an Apple store, they replaced a few items and had it working good as new in a few days without cost even though it wasn't under warranty.
Great service, good communication.
Will definitely come back.

clix in Byron is awesome. You can get anything you'd find in a big city computer store which is essential these days. I got a new battery in my iphone, a 4TB Lacie drive and a new battery in my macbook pro. Was really happy / battery replacements were all done by the next morning. stoked.
I went to see these fellas earlier this year if they could fix a loose screw in my headphones. They fixed it, it didn't take long, they wouldn't accept any cash.

Got home to find my memory card with no chip. When I rang to advise them I was told that they wouldn't take this out and therefore I lost it. Knowing I hadn't lost this as I had been keeping it in a safe place as it held very special moments of my children and a due uni assignment on it, which they were also told I was given no solution. Not able to talk to boss so asked him to contact me and when this didn't happen I rang back. My chip was apparently found although no one called me to tell me this and mo apology no nothing!!!

I attended to the shop because my laptop did not turn on. The shop assistant diagnosed that the Hard Drive Disk need to be replaced. My informatic friend contacted to him for the HDD details to order and do it by himself. The assistant avoided to provide to us with it. With the intention me to buy to him. Till there all right. The scam was that he said the new HDD need to be ordered and replaced by them. My surprise was in three hours the laptop was ready. They did not order it because It is sold in the shop. They did not notice me that I could buy the HDD there and my informatic friend replaced it. So when I picked up the laptop I asked for my old HDD that was involved in the case of the new HDD with the price marked 170$. I paid 250$ in total for labour.
To summarize the scam was hiding to me and my friend that I could just buy the HDD and replace it from another side...

I had an issue for a MacBook Air for long time that had been bugging My computer, within one hour of being in clix my computer was fixed and I was charged much less then I was prepared to pay
Sold me a fake Magsafe2 charger and it killed my computer battery. Extremely angry and upset as I work from my laptop and I'm now left without one.
Do not purchase from here, should've known considering I was not acknowledged or served by the barefoot workers until I had been standing there waiting for 10 minutes.
REPLY: Don't question my course of action to make yourself look better.
Took it into an Apple store and they reviewed it and came to the conclusion that it was fake, even comparing it to an official Apple Magsafe2 charger. Tried charging it with different power ports and even a few different locations to make sure it wasn't just the power, and still flickering from red (not even orange) to green, which shouldn't even happen.
Staff are very friendly and helpful! Just made a purchase and I m very happy with the experience. Here s another star legends

The staff were very helpful . I thought i was going to have to replace something and they steered me toward a repair . Its now 24 months later i went to the shop for a cord and the repair is still good . $90 repair Vs $1250 replace . Thanks team
