Dream beach retreat...
The place is awesome! We love its friendly, laid back, family vibe. We love its beach location, gorgeous views and neighboring restaurant, The Galley Beach. Chip and the Staff team are outstanding and run a tight ship! Food was great and all of the amenities make it a very special place. As soon as my wife and I unpacked we relax and free ourselves of any stress in our life. I believe it is the only hotel/resort with a private beach on the island - and what a beach. Especially if you are ready to go for a shell-hunting walk at low tide. One heads up - make sure you arrange for bikes once you get there. The walk into town along Jetties Road is stunning - amazing houses....but a bike is the way to see the island and to make your way back and forth into town. Oh, and apparently Chip does control the weather because we put in an order for a sunny Figawi weekend....and he delivered! Not a huge place so if you want to stay there, book early. All amenities were perfect and we have fond memories of our stay. Looking forward to another magical stay soon!! ~~~~_/),,,,,,

We found the Cliffside the third year we traveled to Nantucket. Since then, we have not been able to think about staying anywhere else. The location is perfect...one of the very few spots with easy access to the beach and town. The amenities are great.the staff friendly. The casual elegance keeps us coming back for more!

The hotel was fantastic even during co-vid they were 5 star ,The only issue we had was with the galley resturant. Could not even gat one meal in the restaurant or in room,tried all week. And if you bring kids there is nothing on menu kids would eat. Could not get room service as advertised,,Got two drinks in the restaurant and still couldn't stay there to drink them, $60 in plastic cups,,But I guess its Nantucket so they can charge what they want...awesome stay and we have been coming back to Nantucket for 60 years,,Family born and raised in Nantucket,,always wanted to stay at the cliffside and am happy we were able to. Just to bad we had to go into town to eat and or drink. Best view ever...room 125

Awesome, almost impossible to get in, but worth to try. Absolutely have a room with windows on the beach. Good walks start there. Nantucket is splendid.

Ive been twice to Nantucket and both times stayed at the Cliffside. I loved it. Staff is wonderful and the rooms are beautiful. I would move there if they would give me a job!
