Taking the tour to the top is definitely worth it. The elevator ride and the intro video when you get to the top is done very nicely. Amazing view of Manhattan, New Jersey, Brooklyn and the Statue of Liberty. You can also see the Empire State Building in the distance but the Rockefeller building would give you a better view of the Empire State.

One of a kind experience! Could be a little bit of hassle to go through traffic and security but well worth it. Tickets are a little bit on the pricey side and you feel kind of the whole trip including iPads for rent up there to see the city and hotspots digitally is a little bit commercialized.

Seeing the ground zero site and going through the victims names is a lot more meaningful. But again, one-time visit is great, the experience is very immersive even going up the elevator the TV screens with live views are very nice. Highly recommended!

Standing as a shining beacon for the new Downtown, and a bold addition to the skyline, One World Trade Center is safe, sustainable, and artistically dynamic. Soaring to a symbolic 1,776 feet it is the Western Hemisphere s tallest building, and already an iconic New York landmark. Downside, parking. Hard to find parking but public transportation is readily available. A must see if you are in New York City, nice pleasant atmosphere as well with good restaurants, salmon, steak is a must have. A total recommended experience. Enjoy the videos herein and the fast elevator ride up to the observation floor.

The observatory is breath taking. It is my favorite place in New York. They have the best show, staff and views that I have ever seen in any sky deck. They rent you tablets for $15 so you can take a look further of the city (I recommend it if you like fun facts of New York's landmarks), they have people telling you all about the WTC and NYC in general and they have a great shop which is kind of expensive. This is the very best experience you will get for $38. It is worth every penny.

They did a perfect job at revitalizing the Trade Center and the surrounding area. The inside section of where the trains are is decked out in marble and all white. A beautiful artistic creation.

A place to remember those who died, and to honored them. Also, to admire the strength of those who survived. Is amazing to see the new building and how everything was made. Enjoy a coffee Underground and see the New York skyline at the top.

I was lucky to have visited shortly after the Freedom Tower opened in the Summer of 2016. From the elevator ride to the observation deck, this was truly an unforgettable experience that offers the best possible views of NYC.

An absolute must visit! The emotions are overwhelming from the tower, to the memorial and everything in between. This has to be one of the top 3 things I've ever done. The price is worth it. I recommend NYC city pass of you have never been.

Must visit if you are in NYC to get spectacular views of the NY, NJ, Connecticut from the top deck. Any day better than other views from Rockefeller center Top of the rock or Empire State Building.

Make sure to go here! This building is amazing to see in person! Right next to it is the WTC memorial. Beautiful place to ponder and remember those that passed on. There s lots of people there all the time however it still is pretty quiet.

Entirely too much security. Yes, yes, I understand why. But being a local and just trying to get lunch was very discouraging and will never return again. And for those that are locals you have to pay $40 just to get in the building to eat. I'll leave this place for the tourists. As far as lunch goes I did not like what I had which was the duck. But I did like the Virgin drink;it was mixed with watermelon. Very tasty

At $37 for adults, the value is average. Visiting the tallest tower building in the western hemisphere is educational and inspiring. The views from the observation deck are spectacular. The tablet guide for rent is useful for those unfamiliar with New York City and it's environs.

It was a curated sensitively and lovingly for those who died and for those who survived. I almost felt like i was intruding on their memories. It was difficult to see some of the pictures and was overwhelming. It is harsh reminder of how tenuous life is

I cannot stress enough how important it is to get the VIP Priority Access with the $15 voucher for food/drink/gift shop. You skip all lines in and out and get the Virtual Tour Guide iPad ($15 by itself). Also, if you don't want it to be crowded, go first thing in the morning on a weekday. Do the observation deck 1st, then stroll the memorial grounds at your leisure.

One World Trade is an Amazing building. Although it is a tourist attraction as a New Yorker I tend to visit these places for the experience and fun. The building feels brand new on the inside and its very organize and clean, theres visible security staff almost everywhere, and the lobby is just beautiful and very modern. Upon entry you will be asked to make a line to purchase tickets if you haven't done that already, at a booth in the lobby. Ticket prices are a bit pricey, ranging within $40-$50 per person. Once inside you will proceed forward on to Security screening like TSA at an Airport. Once heading in you will be greeted with a presentation and tribute to the men and women who contributed to building the One World Trade Tower. There are plenty of Elevators, they move pretty fast up and down. When your upstairs at the 102nd floors, staff will direct you where to go and give you an introduction video and some helpful tips around the city. The Staff, Security, and guides where pretty helpful, positive, and loaded with information to share. The viewing deck is indoors with a 360 degree awesome view of New York City. Once on the viewing deck you have plenty of restrooms, restaurants, and a souvernir shop. It can get crowded up on the viewing deck so you might wanna have a little patience, most folks up there are most likely to be tourists. Look out for a tourguide doing a show about every 10-15 minutes. Thanks and enjoy.

Having bought tickets we then had to queue to get a entry tine. Then on entry there was a hour queue for the elevator. The elevator movie is cool. However, at the top you then have to sit through a presentation to sell you the iPad viewers. As well as a movie about nyc. By the tine we got to the observatory we were exhausted. Additionally, we found it bizarre that 9/11 wasn t mentioned anywhere. A bit distasteful? Yes the view is awesome, but the journey to get to it is too long.

Trip was in November of 2013. Just getting around to posting some photos. Veteran"s Day and the weather went from overcast and cool to a beautiful sunny and warm day. New tower wasn't open to the public at that time. Too bad we were too early as I'm sure the views would have been incredible that day. The plaza is still a place of reverence and is a very emotional site to visit. It is a must see spot when you visit the city.

The elevator ride up is amazing and the views on a nice day are breathtaking. It s expensive both getting in and any amenities once up there. And the staff was beyond rude on our visit. They screamed at my dad with Alzheimer s in the entrance because he wasn t listening to their speech trying to sell us iPads (which were almost worthless by the way). The staff from start to finish definitely detracted from the experience. But you can t beat the views.

This place is beyond amazing and breathtaking. I didn't want to leave. Just to look out, at the top of this building, is such a feeling of freedom. It is truly a sight to see. It represents the future after tragedy. Go visit if you are able to.

the only reason i am giving it a 1 star is because they should have built 2 buildings not 1 and same floors as the old one this one have less floors and the design kinda looks like the old but its a modern design but i still like the old design better

What a great view from One World Observatory! And it's such a modern high-tech and well organized place! Highly recommended to go! You can't see the entire Manhattan from there, but still there are breathtaking views!

Observation deck is amazing, can see all the way to Brooklyn and new Jersey. Windows are huge and looks amazing. The while building is a world of art and modern marvel. It's the tallest building in the United States. A mist see of your in New York.

If you want to get the best view of NYC then hit the One World Observatory, there is nothing like it!

The elevator ride up (and down) offers a very cool animation on all of its walls (they are all screens) but don't blink, it goes up quite fast!

On to the views, wow, on a clear day (we had one) you get to see everything, really far and all 360 degrees! The statue of liberty looked sooo sooo small from here haha

**PROTIP: Once you exit the elevator and watch the proyected intro you will be taken to another area where they talk to you about the tablet info tool which they rent separate from your ticket price. You can actually skip this and just walk over to the escalators that head down. I asked and proceeded since I wasn't interested and didnt want to waste any time.

Went on a zero visibility day but still found the experience amazing. From the lift ride up to the informative tablet that showed the sites. I'd suggest going on a day where you could see the view though.

Be prepared, especially if you are old enough to remember that day

Great place to visit if you are on vacation here in New York. However, the people who own this place are a bit greedy. For every ticket you buy, you have to pay a $4 "processing fee" and a whole lot of tax. Also, if you have seen the ads, there is this "sky portal" which supposedly has a glass floor under you, and you can see the world under you. It's really just a ton of TVs and some glass. That left me a bit disappointed. The rest of the experience was awesome, from the skypod (the elevator which gets you to the 102nd floor in 47 seconds!!) To the observatory itself, it's a must have experience. Do recommend.

Being a first responder for 9-11, touring One World Trade Center was incredible. We got a guided tour and it was well worth the money. The tour guide was very professional and informative. The entire facility was respectful and truthfully presented.

I was very pleased that I was able to tour the observation level at One Wold Trade Center. The inside observation deck is ideal for taking in the view and in our case within an hour of rain clouds setting over Manhattan. The wide concourse and vaulted ceiling seemed to reduce the angst of falling I sometimes feel at extreme heights. The use of realistic digital displays throughout the elevator system was very impressive and speaks to the technological prowess of the building. Having toured the Twin Towers as a 6th grader and again in my 20s, I was not sure how I would feel after visiting the Observatory. I would encourage previous visitors to the Twin Towers who have stayed away deliberately to consider re-visiting not just for honoring those lost on 9/11 but also because doing so might fill in a personal sense of loss they may still feel.

It really impressed me a lot the first sight of the view after watching a short video of New York life. The screen pulled up and the scenery is just in front of me unexpectedly. I was so touched by this surprise. It must be so beautiful in the late afternoon and evening. Lovely place!

A must do in New York City. Views from the observatory are amazing. The offer iPads for 15 dollars which match the views from the windows. You click on North, south, East or west to march the direction and it shows you an overview with links on each landmark in view. You click on the link and you get a flyover to the landmark and a 30 sec to 1 min overview with the background story of the landmark. I thought it was great and really well done.

We went up to the top, get your camera ready the presentation on the elevator ride up is awesome. It shows NYC from the beginning to present, it's very awesome and worth every penny. The views are amazing.

great views! I enjoyed this place over the other observation decks around the city. There are no obstructed views, unlike the empire state building where there is a fence right in front of your face, Its climate controlled and the elevator ride up is awesome! I recommend going on a weekday right before sunset, and pay for the medium level ticket, both rides up and down the elevator were just my wife and I. I don't think there is a time limit on the observation deck so you could just watch the sun set the whole night then look at the island at night time!

i went there for summer break. and im only twelve. it is such amazing to be up on the top and look down over lower manhatten. being on the top makes me think about the horble tradgy that happend 21 years ago. but it dosent ruin that beautiful view. it makes me think of how are nation came together and how they reacted after 9/11. after 9/11 are nation grew stronger. and they stood together and showed that no matter what people do they can not destroy are bond with one another in the united states. and we will always get back up and be strong.

It was kind of sad that the twin towers of the World Trade Center were destroyed and the 2,996 souls that were lost but it's great that they set up the memorial of the people and the twin towers of the World Trade Center and build the One World Trade Center.

Bought the basic ticket; lots of attempts to up sell all the optional extras. Would have been good to have some stools at the cafe to linger longer & enjoy the views. Doesn't quite have the history of the other two, but benefits from being new & purpose built.

Wow! Can t say enough about the view from here. Like everything else in New York City, it wasn t cheap, but it was money well spent. Make sure to pay attention in the elevator. Wishing I had taken video. The surprise reveal of the skyline added to the amazement of the experience. Can t wait to go back!!

Just went last week , The all inclusive ticket is Worth every dime and very well laid out. The elevator ride up has a movie on the walls and ceiling of the tower history and the staff were first rate and of course a great view.

I was there before 9/11 and it was absolutely fabulous and now post 9/11 they did a wonderful job on the memorial. At night from Queens you can see the spot lights that go up where the buildings were. Very emotional
