Fantastic views. Get the iPad extra so that you know what you're looking at. Best to go in the middle of the day when the sun is overhead, versus streaming through the west side and creating lots of heat and bright light!

Architecture at its best. This glass tower reflects the clouds and the sky majestically making it one of the beautiful additions to the NYC skyline. The mall inside the one world center is huge. Located close to the world financial center for transportation and the 9/11 memorial; this place has a lot to offer for the tourists.

I recommend buying your tickets online. You can even do it with your cellphone. They scan it at the entrance. You also skip the ticket line.
One World Trade Center was almost as beautiful as the Twin Towers. We also had lunch up there at the One Restaurant. What a view.
When you get to the observatory you are in for a good surprise !!!!

The day visited the top of freedom tower was during winter and it was after 6pm so, it wasn t too crowded, the ticket price I find expensive but worth it because the view is incredible from the top. Again if you looking for good pictures I suggest to go during the day because of the glare and bad quality photos during at night. I spent about 1 hour up there. And I bought the picture that they sell there even tho it s very expensive.

The views are, of course, amazing. I didn't like how everything is made to make money once you're up there. You have to sit through a SALES PITCH before you can even look at the observatory. If I want views, I'll go to WTC. If I want the experience, I'll go to Empire State. Beautiful building nonetheless.

The tour on the observation deck is well worth it. It is a bit pricey however considering you don't get to up to the tallest building in the Western hemisphere its worth it at least once. The 360 video while riding to the top is outstanding. The whole experience was great and definitely recommend this to everyone.

The One World Observatory is easily the most organised and stress free observatory in Manhattan, I visited the Empire State and Top of the Rock which which were much more annoying and complicated in comparison with multiple elavotors. The whole experience from start to finish is fantastic, the ride up is easily the best experience you will witness in an elavotor, and the ride down is equally as impressive, I visited the other observatories after this one and they were pretty laughable in comparison, obviously they are much older buildings so not as tech focused. The unveiling of the view is amazing, please avoid watching any videos before hand as this would ruin the experience, I already knew what to expect, which took the shine off the well choreographed experience. The views are spectacular and offer a different perspective of New York and New Jersey, so don't skip it because you have already done one observation deck, the only downside is that it is all indoors, so it feels a little restrictive and you get reflections on your photos but given the history and experience,t Observatory experience as a whole will be pretty much unrivalled by any other building. My favourite NYC building.

This was by far the best experience we had in New York. We paid a little more to go at sunset and to bypass the lines, and it was worth it. The elevator ride is really cool, and the views are spectacular.

The restaurant has great food, great service, and great views.

One word of advice: When you get to the top they try to get you to rent a tablet that will highlight landmarks for you. Don't waste your money. Ours was off by about 45 degrees from where we were pointing it, so it was almost useless.

It's gorgeous views of the entire city all the way around. I surprising at the time of day that we went there were not long lines and we went right up. The elevator ride up and down are more than worth the money alone.

I am extremely impressed by how this building turned out and the surrounding areas. The observation deck is something to try as well -- it was quite the experience and the "reveal" was awesome. Tip: the later you go, the less amount of people there will be

One of the life experiences to see New York skyline form the top. Its unbeatable...the audio visual they show with curtain raiser sets the stage for an awesome experience. They should eliminate the commercial selling after the video. It is annoying and according to me keeps us away from the sight we have come to see. Top of the Rock can get crowded and windy unlike one world center where flow of people is well managed and basically it is very spacious at top. Not to forget the elevator ride is also an experience. All in All....worth a visit once in life!

DO NOT BOOK OR USE THESE STUPIDI PADs !!!
They only distract you from looking outside and cause frustration to handle
The rest was fine

Great building, off course, but a lot of drawbacks - all these shows postpone seeing the sunset itself, and as a result you miss it. Also, at night, what a huge amount of lights in the room at the background, almost impossible to see or shoot the view because of backlight.

FREAKING AMAZING!!! Totally worth the $39 to get in. You can also get a guided iPad tour for $10.

The views are incredible, even the elevator ride has a special surprise for you.

There is food and and a bar. Plus a gift shop.

If you re nearby visiting the 9/11 memorial you definitely want to give this some time. So worth it.

Everyone should experience this! The views are spectacular! I ve been up in the One World Tower twice now! I d recommend going up to the observation before the sun goes down. You can see it in the daylight, as the sun sets and when the lights come on in the buildings all around you. It s worth every dollar!!!

Breathtaking views.

Breathtaking views.
Highly recommend to put this on your tick list of things to do on your visit to New York. With online timed bookings the que line was minimal. Very nicely put together as you take lift up to the viewing area. There are also little talks from staff which is a nice touch. I went up on a clear sunny day, so I can imagine on foggy days you may not get quite the same experience.

I'm in love with this place! The view is unbelievable! You can see all the city and New Jersey too. Journey in the elevator is incredible too. Video panels inside the elevator looks like the walls are transparent and you're flying. Everything is made to impress you as more as possible. And cafe on the top has a nice prices, that was surprising for me. We ordered cakes, so delicious! Strongly recommend this place. Must see

Every aspect of this behemoth and radiant beacon of human engineering has not failed to astonish me, untill the frivolous cheap attraction of glass floor appears. Apparently, if you stand there and look down, you can see all the way down clearly as if you're about to fall and the only thing thing holding you up is a harness. Surely not! Stained, cloudy glass ensures that you can see only down 4 or 5 floors. Anywhoo, the elevator was the best experience whatsoever in this experience to the top of one the tallest man made structures; skyscrapers in the world.

I know the right answer is to like this place, but it s really commercialized, which was a bit off-putting for me. If you want to go to the top, you can pay an exorbitant amount of money to do so.

I hear the view is amazing, but it was rainy and overcast when I was there, so there was literally nobody there by the staff when I passed through (you d think they d offer an inclement weather discount, but nope).

This is a must visit site as a result of NY history. The 360 degree views from the top of the tower are breath taking.
The elevator ride to the top takes you through a visual history of the construction of the World Trade Centers

Very cool to learn about the history and the views are awesome. Try to come when it isn't busy. It was very busy when I went and I spent a long time in line. If you have a short time in New York, it's worth walking by to see the memorial and the church, but I'd skip the line.

Had a lot of fun here! Once you get to the top of the tower, you're welcome to stay as long as you like. There's a gift shop and a restaurant up there, but they're too pricey to be worth it when there's tons of amazing pizza places right below. The way they reveal the view is such an amazing experience. I don't want to give it away because it was such a spectacular idea, but it was AMAZING! A must-see if you're in the city.

They have done a fantastic job rebuilding, the memorials are extraordinary and the area seems more vibrant than ever. But the new 1 WTC pales in comparison to the majestic twin towers that once stood on this hallowed ground.

Remarkable building. The detail, height, etc. all apply to the true beauty of this facility. This Architectural creation is truly wonderful. SOM are amazing architects, thank you for this immaculate building. Best observation deck in NYC. 9/11 was a tragic event, and this masterpiece shows truly how Americans can rebuild, and rebuild well.

This design of One World Trade Center is one of my favorite tower designs in America. Its shape of the tower is iconic and at the top is the spire which can light up any color for special events, holidays and more. One World Trade Center is home to One World Observatory which is one of my favorite observatories and is a fantastic experience to do. One World Trade Center is home to a large space for private events. It's difficult for me to think of a more impressive venue in New York to have a private event. The views from One World Trade Center are spectacular - no matter the direction or height the view is outstanding.

The Freedom Tower (aka One World Trade Center), wh...

The Freedom Tower (aka One World Trade Center), which I personally call the Queen of the Manhattan Skyline, is arguably one of the most beautiful structures ever to grace the American Skyline with her elegant tapered corners and gleaming spire rising to a symbolic 1776 feet. Though it has taken over a decade to rebuild and construct this magnificent supertower, the journey was more than worth it. It was critical for the Freedom Tower's design to be symbolic in terms of strength, safety, beauty, and resilience, in addition to commemoration the tragedy that happened on the site adjacent to her.
I had the opportunity to visit the supertower and the One World Observatory with family in July 2016 and was just in awe over the incredible views! Never before have I ever been to the top of a building that tall, so it was just absolutely amazing. Therefore, I strongly recommend visiting One World Observatory to anyone who visits New York City, for she truly is a one of a kind building.

The memorial is filled with so many things found from the debris on display like parts of the plane that hit the WTC, papers that were burning and falling from the towers and many other things..it gave me goosebumps when I heard a recorded call of one of the passengers on board the flight to his loved one..!! Definitely must visit..

The experience in the observatoriy of the One World Trade Center left me a little bit disappointed. The view is amazing that's for sure but the price is excessive (42 dollars!)!! The introduction underneath the building is cheap and extremely patriotic (the best building ever made, proud to be American etc...). The short film you see on top is nice but after that you need to go through a restaurant before reaching the observatory. Finally the photos don't look so good because because of the reflections.
The Empire State building in comparison is a much more enjoyable experience.

The towers were designed as framed tube structures...

The towers were designed as framed tube structures, giving tenants open floor plans, unobstructed by columns or walls. The framed tube design was introduced by Bangladeshi-American structural engineer Fazlur Rahman Khan in the 1960s. The design was accomplished by using many closely spaced perimeter columns, providing much of the structure's strength, with the gravity load shared with the core columns. The elevator system, which made use of sky lobbies and a system of express and local elevators, allowed substantial floor space to be used for office purposes by making the structural core smaller. The design and construction of the towers involved many other innovative techniques, such as wind tunnel experiments and the slurry wall for digging the foundation. Yamasaki also incorporated elements of Islamic architecture in the building's design, having previously designed Saudi Arabia's Dhahran International Airport with the Saudi Binladin Group.
