On a cold, miserably wet January day in 2020.

An exceptional and truly remarkable Plaza in memory of those who lost their lives in the attack on the Twin Towers of the World Trade Centre on 11th September 2001.

The two subterranean waterfalls are surrounded by bronze plaques bearing the names of those who died in the attack.

Sadly, because the onscreen guide was inoperative, I was unable to find the name of Rick Rescorla, Head of Security at Morgan Stanley, who had predicted a terrorist attack and who led thousands to safety that day. Rick was last seen entering the second tower shortly before its catastrophic collapse.

Best observatory in NY. If you only want to visit one, this is the best pick by far. I visited during the day, and while it was busy, it was easy to navigate and squeeze in to get the shots you wanted. The glass does produce some reflections, so you might have to get creative with camera angles to avoid them. At night this might be more of a problem.

A beautiful observatory awaits you on the top.It has huge glass windows and you can see some beautiful views of the city in all directions.
On the way the elevator shows you a beautiful presentation on how the city developed over the years.

I would recommend you to rent the ipad tour of the city which helps you look at the different areas of nyc using an augmented reality system.

You can see in all directions and see the various landmarks including statue of liberty, empire state building etc

The uss intrepid is also visible on a clear day

You can also see the adjacent states of New jersey and Connecticut.

Overall 10/10,excellent value for money

This was an awe inspiring place to go. The tragic memories associated with this place wrench my heart. I feel sadness and anger and frustration and resentment and compassion and reverence. That is way too many feelings to experience all at once in one place. I am so glad that another tower was erected in such an place were such tragedy took place.

I had a really nice experience here with great views of NYC.
We bought tickets for 10.30am online and we re straight through with almost no queuing. This was on a Saturday in June so I was very surprised and much relieved.
The views at the top were spectacular and the whole experience was slick. The lift with its videos playing inside was very cool.

The views are unparalleled but the price is ridiculous. For a family of 5 to spend $160 (not including the $30 iPad rental) is way too much. And we are New Yorkers so we are used to the cost of living here. It was disappointing that it was such an inauthentic NY experience and seemed to be only focused on getting our money. That said, the staff were very friendly.

So expensive.. $39 (US) is the cheapest option.. Hence the 3 stars.
We went there on a Monday night (end of August) so it wasn't busy at all and we could enjoy the views. It is a good experience (elevator experience, the view), but it took us less than an hour between buying the tickets and leaving the building.
I recommend visiting the undergrounds of the World Trade Center - shopping areas and train station, it is quite impressive.

Spectacular views from the observatory. The elevator ride up is very nice they simulate the development of the entire city as you ride up the elevator. Then the quick show of how they unveil the view is very cool as well. Worth the time to go up there.

Elevators have large format displays which shows timeline of how the city evolved. They have optional self guided tour using iPads which is something new that I haven't seen before. You get to know brief information on certain landmarks and buildings surrounding WTC. Views are good as expected from top of any high-rise building provided it is not foggy.

Breath taking views of the city. Best time to go is to make sure it's a clear day, not cloudy or hazy. Try to go 2 hrs before the sunset so you can experience during the day and night. They also have presentations on history of the city.

Loved the One World Observatory up top! An amazing view! The elevator ride going up was cool with the time lapse view of Manhattan. Also the Ipad devices that tell you what you are looking at were cool as well. As you move around the display changes to match what you are looking at outside and you can click on buildings and get details, small videos about them etc. Very slick!

Tears, tears, and more tears. Take a chance to look up some names and stories when reading their names. It will floor you. Didn't get a chance to go upstairs. Also if you were looking to go upstairs, keep in mind it closes at 8pm. At least on the weekdays.

the food is great, the prices are high if you do not like to pay more for a dish that elsewhere you get more economical, however I think I love the idea of eating here that the price becomes invisible after the experience so gratifying that you can live here.

You know New York is absolutely packed out with places to visit, see, taste and enjoy and on our 3 night visit we had to include One World tower. We has prebooked our tickets online and I recommend you do the same to avoid the frustration of queuing.
Once inside you are whisked up at high speed in one of the manned lifts. Once up in the viewing gallery the whole of New York stretches out in front of you with very handy signs on the ceiling pointing out which direction you are looking ( great for tourists) there is also a cafe / snack area and a gift shop. Staff are nice & helpful so overall a great way to spend a couple of hours.
Just wish the twin towers were still standing.
God bless America.

Most beautiful, powerful, and extraordinary thing I've experience in my life. Im only 18 years old and it was so moving that it brought tears to my eyes. If you're ever in NYC, you have to visit this place. I would, hands down, consider it to be a place to see and visit on your bucket list. 11/10.

went up the original twin towers with my wife a year before the tragedy of 9/11. So we wanted to return to One World trade centre. The cost was totally reasonable. I can't remember how much but I thought it was very cheap. (Unlike the CN Tower in Toronto)
The security and time to get up to the top was surprisingly quick and easy. All the staff were friendly, happy and helpful. Having got to the top I got a lump in my throat as I looked over Manhattan....Well done New York. It has a place in my heart.

Amazing experience. You are on top of the world. There is a great video in the extremely fast elevator playing on your way up about the construction of the one world trade.
This is the view from the top!

Great place! It is a must on your tour through New York. They have done a great job in building it. The elevator up to the 102nd floor is time travel. It shows New York at the beginning until today. The view from up there is great as well and as you can see by the one picture: you can even have a great cocktail up there in the bar!

Definitely worth the $39 basic charge. The attraction is almost designed like Disney park ride. The walk to the elevator is underground. The elevator ride, though quick, is entertaining, they take your photo so you can buy it at the end, there is a gift shop to walk through before you leave. There are information sessions. All very good. The views, history and related surrounding information is all very good. Glad I went. And yes, I bought the photo...

This has become one of the top attractions in the city. And for good reason. Buy advance passes to get past the lineup (unless you like large groups of strangers who don t move all that often.)

The magnificent architecture speaks of courage and strength that can be restored after attack.
It speaks of standing back tall even if being hit.
Great style of the building. Quite visible from many corners of the city.

Prime tourist spot. It's a must visit to understand the vast history of NYC. Yes it will be busy, yes you will need to pay for entry. Parking is an issue, but exercise is always good! Make sure to checkout the memorial next door, its like a very beautiful garden flustered with flocks of people.

Top to bottom, it's a class act. An omague to the past and a beacon for the unity we had as survivors of a dark day. Also it brings hope to the next generation as proof that this nation was United at one time.

Its nothing like the original. To add insult to injury, there is zero mention of the 09.11.2001 attack. Not one mention at all. They leave that to the 9/11 museum, $$$$. It is terrible. Of course the view is always amazing.

Horrible lines took more then an hour and a half to get in if you buy regular tickets at $39. If you want to skip the main the price jumps up.

They use all the elevators for the priority line holding up the lines for general admission for at times 30 - 45 or more minutes. When you get up there each window is being over taken by someone so you now have to wait for a view to get good shots. In comparison when I first came to this location the service and treatment has been a horrible experience.

I really can't explain the greatness of this place! Next to the Memorial of Twin Towers, it gives us a wonderful view about what USA was capable to do after the disaster: they build something bigger and higher that represents hope for the future.

The elevator ride to the top is quicker than you'd think. Usually elevators bother me but this one didn't for some reason. The view was spectacular! The tablets they give you to 'explore the city' are a really nice touch and help keep the children occupied. We ate at the restaurant. I found the menu to be small but varied. I had the salmon, my son had the burger, the others in our party had the wings, the childs steak and fries. There was no wait to be seated and the food arrived in a reasonable time frame. The service was excellent: my daughter was dead set on chocolate milk, which they didn't have but our server found some chocolate syrup and mixed some up for us. And of course my daughter spilled it all over the floor. Our server cleaned everything up and brought us out another one. She was very sweet and had nothing but smiles for us. I enjoyed my salmon and the steak and fries were excellent. My only complaint is that the burger was a little dry for us. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the city. The views are like nothing else. Check out the restaurant while you're there. I didn't think the food was anymore expensive than anyplace else we'd been to plus you get the bonus of great service and the best view of the city.

Stunning views (on a good weather day) buy your ticket online - it means you skip 1 line and will save you $3 per ticket
Free 1 hours worth of wi-fi - it accepts any email address/name
Some of it is tacky and it's clearly designed to separate you from your money, but it's well run and the views

This building has so much history behind. I highly recommend visiting when you have a chance, it represents our strength and persistence. Do not give up when life pushes you the opposite direction. If you are in the downtown NYC area you should visit.
