I'm being 100% honest & not biased whatsoever in this review because I value everyone's opinion and want to give you guys insight. My experience at CSI was EXTREMELY horrific. I worked for CSI for two weeks and hated every minute of it. I've NEVER worked for a company that does not value me as an individual and that treats people like trash. Right off the back they train you to be insensitive, unremorseful, liars. Please DO NOT think they are about helping you because they are ALL about money and will do whatever it takes to get it..even breaking the law. Why do you think the turn over rate is so high? Yes CSI may be one of the top collection agencies but that's only because of the money they suck out of consumers. Please, future applicants, educate yourself on this company before applying and take this review into consideration. I'm not writing this because I'm upset. As to current debtors out there, I pray that your account does not get sent to CSI. FYI, the good reviews on here were written by employees.

I received a phone call from a local number. They asked for me, but refused to identify the company they were calling for, even by acronym. I said now was not a good time, and called back at lunch hour. I asked who they were (they answered the phone by saying "hello" then silence). The woman said Client Services. I asked, "Client Services for whom? Is this a business or the client service department for a business?" Her response, "we handle different business for different clients." I said "Obviously." and remained silent. After a moment/minute (it was an awkward amount of time but I don't want to sound like I'm exaggerating) she responded with "Client Services, Incorporated." Another pause. I asked what type of business is the company she is calling from. She obviously had caller ID because she asked for me, and said she couldn't answer any further questions about the type of business until she could verify who she was talking to. What legitimate business cannot say what type of business they are? If I call Taco Bell they can certainly tell me they are a restaurant. She got angry (angrier?) at that point and began yelling something. I don't know what, because I hung up.

My dad was calm and respectful and so was the man on the other line, Kevin Pace. He is great at his job, worked out a monthly plan that is reasonable and made it a hassle free experience.

Not a good workplace for anyone who doesn't like gossip, to be thrown unnecessary information that would be common sense instead of info that actually comes with problems that you'll encounter but no you would need to keep raising your arm or look for help, favoritism, lack of knowledge from their own Supervisors. I have never worked for a company like this in my life. The training managers are snakes be careful. They will smile in front of you but they will go behind your back and say negative comments about you. I was hired on August 24,2020. They terminated me the second week of my training. I was told my skills did not match the position. I feel like I was discriminated because I scored high scores on all the tests that were given to me since day 1 of training. All the sudden they decided to let me go because of my skills. Well Duhh I m new to your company and it won t take me 2 weeks to learn everything that I need. They were not patience with me they judge based on 1 week experience. They did not give me a chance to complete my 90 days of training and they just terminated me because they felt like I was not a good fit for the position. The training manager was so unprofessional she did not have the right tools to be a manager. As training manager She did not have the patience to teach at all. A strong leader ensure every team member knows exactly what they need to know in order to own their responsibilities. She will go over one thing and next you know your on your own. The computer are so old and outdated. When you are in the middle of taking a test it will just freeze and disappear so you ll have to start all over again with the test. It s soooo annoying. Good luck with this company. This Comapny is trash seriously.

I am a current collector with CSI, and going to say two things right off the bat. If you worked at CSI for under two months, then you have no opinion on how the place runs because you don't have the experience to know what you're talking about. Sorry but true, if you couldn't make it through the training then you aren't exactly an expert. The people I work with are genuinely nicer people than so many of the people I call.

The other horror stories on here are probably either fabricated (the lines are recorded and anyone caught doing some of these things would be fired, or the clients that employs us would rip us a new one) or were caused by people not willing to cooperate. You are adults, you can be asked to be responsible and get this taken care of. If you actually talk to the collector, you would be amazed how much you can limit your phone calls, not have any at all, and find all sorts of options to repay YOUR debt. There are rules, you gotta cooperate. CSI has a AAA with the BBB. You don't get that by being terrible to people or by breaking the law.

This company called and asked for personal information and refused to tell me why. To anyone who needs help with these people, download Numbo. It automatically sends calls that aren t in your contact list to voicemail, it also automatically blocks unknown and blocked callers. Best $30 I ve ever spent.

If you are looking to be around veterans with years of experience in collections and negotiating look no further!! This job is not for everyone. Especially the weak at heart! When you apply for a job it is your responsibility and duty to obtain the information you need to determine if this is suitable for you, and if it s not you should be adult enough to not bash a company because you were unable to train yourself to become successful here or any were. This job has been patient with my learning process because I came here with no collections experience and have learned more at this job then I have in all my 15 years of work experience. They have answered every question I have asked them and satisfied me with clarity. The content and training is exclusive. You can t buy hands on experience the way it s given here. One thing I will say is there is a lot to learn, just be patient and trust the process as they understand it takes a couple months to get the ball rolling.. I would recommend this job to any one in collections or who has a desire to strive in a friendly competition work force !

Client services seems to be posting alot of job ads. The Hr rep who kept calling me sounds so unhappy in her position. Why would anyone want to come in for an interview? It seems between the reviews on google and indeed this company needs to really get involved with their management and hr processes because they seem to be really hurting for staffing.

THIS IS A SCAM!!! They call every day at least 10 times starting at 7 am sometimes 6 and then call every hour for the next 5 hours . then they call again looking for a different person every time, none of which happen to be me. or my husband. I have a informed them several times that they have the wrong number. When I ask what they do or what services they provide and they always say that they can't give out that information. I told them that we weren't interested in any donations, products or services. They keep calling. I have done some digging and found many different accounts of fraud. I will be contacting the BBB and filing a complaint as well as list them as a scam

No idea who these people are and I certainly have no accounts in collections. They call for my ex husband requesting phone number, address and his place of work. I returned the call but refused to give them information due to they refused to tell me what sort of business they actually were or anything about them.
Not sure how they got my number but anyone who calls me requesting anything should be able to identify who the heck they are and why they are calling.
On another note the person who left the message with name and ext # wasn't actually the person at that ext. And the woman who was there was rude. Um really you how offensive was it to ask who are you calling me? !?

I called back to see who it was and received a recording saying they were closed today. They then called my husband s phone. They don t let you finish a sentence and keep taking over you. Can t ask questions and when they did identify who they were calling for, my credit report shows I owe NO money and current and up to date.

This company need to pick a better person to do interviews. The person who was interviewing me was rude. I don t want to say he seem racist but that was the vibe I was getting. He was looking at me funny from the moment I walked in and rushed through the interview. He wasn t letting me finish talking when I was responding to the questions he asked. He didn t want to shake my hand. His face expression was dull the whole time like I was wasting his time. I don t know if he was just having a bad day but he shouldn t show it at work or take it out on me. This whole experience was horrible and I wouldn t recommend nobody apply if he is the one doing the interview. I wish I would of wrote down his name but they know who he is. They fired me after I got cancer and applied for short term disability. They never told me I actually found out when my insurance got canceled and I wasn t able to go to my chemo. I ended up filing a complaint against them and they told me that if I cancel the complaint they would pay me my disability but when I did, I never heard from them again. They don t have your back at all I could ve died and they could care less.
