Fantastic service. Clean rooms. Desk a bar service tops could find better. Give Mike an Irish parties go for Irish Ata boy god job # one

The accomodations were very nice for the price. Please know that there are ONLY showers, no bathtubs, in the rooms. I'm not sure if all of the rooms are like this, but make sure you take note when making reservations. There is a restaurant near the lobby to purchase breakfast and other munchies. There are outside restaurants around within a couple of miles to grab breakfast, if you prefer not to pay for the breakfast at the hotel. Retail stores are also within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again for an outing with my husband and/or kiddos.

The room layout was odd, with a poor view. Curtains were broken when we arrived, requiring repair.

Hi my name is Harriette Thomas, my family and I came down from MN to Cleveland because my boys where standing in an wedding. We book our hotel for the 27th of July because we weren't sure how long the drive was going to take us. Needless to say we got in town 2am Thursday morning. With no where to go we stop at the hotel to see if we can get a room or check-in early. The Front desk won't even let us in the door finally after about 10min of me talking to her through the intercom. She finally let us in. I explain to her we had a
Reservation for the 27th but we got early than Expected and if possible to either check in or get a room. She said No we couldn't check-in but we can get a room for a higher price than what we were paying. She won't even hear me out she didn't think twice about my babies before dismissing me and my little once. So basically we had to sleep in the car in a city we didn't know. This is very sad. Not everyone is a Criminal because that's how she treated us. I work in customer service and this is the Worst experience I have had in a while. If it was not for the fact I had already book this room, I would have kept my money and find somewhere else to stay

Great staff but how does a hotel expect to compete when they make you pay extortion-high prices for a breakfast that's free at other places?

I went there for a conference. The facility was nice and it had alot of parking. I walked around and they have a nice indoor pool.

Staff was friendly. Beds were very comfortable and hotel was clean. I should have done more research about this hotel since it was a one night stay for me and my daughter. The hotel seems to accommodate business rather than families. WiFi is not free.

Very nice hotel. The staff was wonderful and helpful at check-in. They even gave my husband a late check-out as he was not attending the symposium with me. The food served at the symposium I attended was healthy and tasty with plenty of food and beverages for everyone. The room was clean and comfortable with a mini fridge and wonderful smelling toiletries. The only complaint I had was the mattress was well worn and needed to be replaced. It was very lumpy and I didn't sleep well at night. Other than that, I love Marriott hotels. This one is right off the freeway, easy to find, and near lots of restaurants and shopping. Hopefully they are updating their mattresses and there will be a more comfortable bed the next time I visit.

I like staying at Marriott hotels because the quality is consistent from place to place. Room was spacious and clean and bed super comfy. My only problem was that my phone refused to connect to the wifi because of a 'security issue.' I had no problem connecting through my computer. Love that wifi is included. Also, parking spots readily available and there were several restaurants within walking distance. I would stay there again if needed. Only gave 4 stars because price felt high.

Great clean and friendly the coffee shop inside is delicious when you walk up to the coffee shop you are greeted by stina the barista artist with a smile she will answer every question or concerns you have very kind and helpful

Arrived after a seven hour drive and was warmly welcomed. The front desk clerk offered us beverages and was quick with a recommendation for a lunch spot. Additionally, only one of our two rooms was ready. The clerk assured us the second room would be moved up to be cleaned next so that it would be ready when we returned from lunch. Every staffer and every amenity was first rate. I would recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay there next time I'm in town.

Great place to hold a conference. Good breakfast food served buffet style. Easy free parking. Covered drop off area, useful for rainy weather.

Cleveland Marriott hotel was magnificent, very clean and state of the art in amenities. The staff were very polite and helpful.I fully recommend them.

This was probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and not because of cleanliness but because the management staff were horrible and did not communicate with each other or their customers I witnessed numerous amounts of complaints not only from customers including myself but other staff members! I would never stay here again and definitely wouldn t recommend it to anyone either!!!

Very nice hotel. Rates were reasonable, there was plenty of free parking, the staff was friendly, rooms clean and well stocked. Fountains in main area with the restaurants was a nice touch.

Rooms were nice and quiet. It wasn't dated, the lobby is gorgeous and the staff was helpful. We were provided a brunch and then food was great, specifically the bacon and sausage. I just found it over priced for the location being fairly far from the city and the pillows were terrible (unless you like artificial down pillows)

Attentive yet unobtrusive service. Clogged toilet on memorial day night was addressed within minutes.

It is an older hotel that they are in the process of renovating. I stayed on a floor that was complete and the rooms are nice. Staff was super friendly and helpful.

The hotel was nice as well as the staff was very accommodating. I was holding a meeting and they were able to find me a sort of conference room to hold it in. If you're hoping for a quiet stay though, make sure there are no conferences while you're there, cuz there was a hockey convention while we were there, so it got a bit loud at times.

Work Christmas party was great! Food was yummy and staff were all pleasant. I enjoyed the event and would recommend.

Marriott East is conveniently located. Close in proximity to downtown Cleveland and 18 to 20 minutes from the airport (CLE). The hotel has several restaurants within short walking distance. Upon arrival I was pleased with this Marriott. The lobby is very nice and spacious with a very open feeling and very well appointed. Very Nice! At check-in the clerk, I felt, wasn't very welcoming. I got checked-in and proceeded to my room. The room was quite nice, clean, spacious, and comfortable. This room faced the freeway and is located next to the outside air conditioning systems that we're uncomfortly loud. I requested another room away from the noise of the A.C. System. My request turned into a long discussion before my request was finally granted. My new room was quiet and just as nice of the previous room. I settled-in and enjoyed the rest of my stay. If you play golf I really enjoyed Hawthorne Valley Golf Club. You will enjoy the challenge of the course and its beautiful layout. The staff was friendly, the Pub and its staff were very friendly plus drinks were very reasonably priced. Loved this course and loom forward to playing here again.

All in all I can honestly recommend this Marriott. When in town again this will be my choice hotel.

Very nice however no privacy with the restroom sliding doors...they don't lock and whomever your with can hear everything you do and see through the stained sliding door..not cool..very impersonal

Nice hotel, 24-hour elite lounge, right off the highway. Didn't go to the hotel restaurant, but they have several good dining options within a few miles. Rooms were nice and up to date. Lounge food was good, but they didn't seem to be able to keep up with demand, as many food items were out several times during our 1 night stay, but they would always replenish when it was brought to their attention

When I travel to Cleveland I always prefer to stay at the Marriott Cleveland East! The staff is the best! Especially Mike at the bar, he always makes you feel at home even though you have been on the raid for days!
Rooms are comfortable and very nice sine the renovations! Michael Smith is the main reason I always come back to this location though!

My daughter was here from Texas with Grand kids. And if it were a business trip I may not see the room with the same eyes. The large strains at the bottom of the curtains. The strain at the base of the toilet. The questionable stains on the bathroom frosted glass door.
Mom with kids needed a pool that didn't have a visable later of film on it.
While a business traveler might not have noticed, it should not be a reason for it not to be done.

Only complaint they did not come and clean my Room I was there 3 days and they never clean my Room or change my sheets are gay was new tiles I was gonna call downstairs and tell them to come and do it but my wife said no happy wife happy life. But I should not have to. I stayed in many hotels and never experienced that. And we paid a lot of money for them days

Delivers what you expect out of a Marriott hotel. Plenty of restaurants at walking distance from the place.

Rooms were clean, good breakfast in the restaurant, nice aesthetic.

Room was clean, bed comfortable, but No hot water on the shower! I tried all positions for the faucet. Water in the sink was fine, but no hot water in the shower. Unfortunately I had to go to a meeting and did not have time to get the front desk to fix it. Not a good experience.
I did bring it up to the person during checkout but the response was that is strange, I will get maintenance to look at it . Very unhelpful.

Good executive level hotel convenient, clean, comfortable bed but no free internet

This place has issues I don't have the time or energy to get into details, but beware! You may find yourself locked out of the hotel, and have to navigate your way to the main entrance at the most awkward of times. Oh the M club, great idea! However I did get locked out of there three times

Went in to inquire about employment and the front desk person was very professional, courteous & friendly.
