Nice hotel, good location for business meetings. Temperature of lobby and restaurant was cold and rather uncomfortable. Hotel needs designated smoking away from front entrance area. Had to walk to front door through cloud of cigarette smoke from group smoking outside too close to building.

My family and I have stayed here twice within a few weeks. Although all amenities are still shut down the nearby shopping within walking distance was very nice! No housekeeping for stay over so I would suggest possibly bringing your own disinfectant. Staff was very friendly but the young blonde at the front desk who couldn t even call my room to let me know our food had been delivered from DoorDash and could care less what I was saying wasn t very pleasant. Other than that great stay. Very nice Hotel.

We had originally booked 2 nights but due to my husbands job we only stayed 1, it was a last minute thing. The front desk girls are just so friendly they make you feel welcome the instant you arrive. Everything was clean and felt comfortable. No complaints here! Our kids loved the stay too! Definitely recommend

First time in Cleveland and glad I booked this hotel. When I checked in the gentleman at the front desk escorted me to the elevator and gave me a quick tour. The room was newly renovated and very clean. Ordered breakfast in the morning and they were out of Hot Chocolate and I said tea would be alright. When room service was delivered they had ordered a Hot Chocolate from Starbucks and said it was on the house. It's truly the little things. I for sure will be back and recommend this hotel to everyone.

Here for a church conference and appreciate that this hotel is very accommodating and in such a convenient location with so many places to eat within walking distance. The room we were staying are right next to the elevator (convenient) but the bathroom was too tiny for both my husband and I to be in for there the same time (not so convenient).

The facilities here are actually wonderful. But I was pretty frustrated when the bar charged me 33 dollars for a pour of woodford reserve only after pouring the drink. They didn t have any sort of spirits menu so how would I know they were marking up their pours to half the price of a bottle. They didn t tell me it would be that much before they gave me the bill. As a frequent Marriott member, I feel robbed here.

The room was clean and quiet. However, when we arrived, the room smelled like body odor. Also, our room service breakfast was cold. They also forgot our coffee. We called to notify them and they did send up another pot, but it was 20 minutes later. Overall, an okay experience.

Was a moron and forgot a suit/shirts after a wedding at the hotel. Talked to a few people, including Michelle at the front desk, who were all extremely helpful and understanding. Located the suit and shipped it back to me in Michigan! Thanks!

The hotel isnt worth what they charge per night

The hotel isnt worth what they charge per night
There weren't any bedding for the pull out bed for our sons. We called the front desk and asked for sheets and blankets they took forever and once I called to see what the problem was the gentleman at the front desk said housekeeping had gone to the wrong room (next door to us) and left the sheets (that our sons had to use and sleep on) outside the wrong room's door on the floor. I brought it to his attention that that is not good customer service and why would he leave sheets on a dirty, nasty floor where people walk on with their nasty shoes. He really didnt have an explanation and didnt replace the sheets.
Customer service wasnt the best!!

I am here very regularly for business. There are always one or two large parties or conferences going on and the staff handles it with grace. Beds are good. Supportive but soft. Pillows are standard Marriott feather...I do t love them but I ve seen worse :-).

I am always greeted with my name and thanked. I am always well taken care of with a smile. I m spoiled rotten by the staff at Cleveland Marriott East.

I recently attended a professional gathering at the Cleveland Marriott East. The banquet was quite nice, and the food was yummy. The biggest drawback would have to be the audio in the main hall where the keynote was given. The audio was terrible and really detracted from the presentation.

My daughter and I stayed on the evening of 3/8 for a sports tournament early the next morning. We checked in around 9pm and wento the lounge for a snack. When we came back to our room the key would not work. I called downstairs and they asked me to come down and get a new card . I did, came back and new key did not work. Call again, go back down, those keys don't work either. They send maintenance up. SOmething is wrong and lock is malfunctioning. They need the lead engineer to bring the key to unlock my door. Great, where is he? He's home in bed. Only three people in the entire hotel have access to this key. Because it's certainly convenient to leave a guest and her child in a hallway until after midnight while we wait for the engineer to show up. While the Maintenance man and lead engineer were very nice and extremely apologetic (the front desk was not), it is unacceptable that we had to wait nearly over one and half hours to get back into our room. You're in the hospitality business, correct? Well, you failed your customer big time and the only thing I was offered was 5,000 marriott points. Completely unacceptable. I should have been contacted by a manger at the very least. I won't be back.

Please thank Ray for assisting us a microwave and his attentiveness and great service! Also thank the staff as well. Very professional and courteous ! As in my previous post, I would've given rating 5 stars..Wasn't the staff fault for disruptive guests whom kept us up. I called the front desk and it appeared handled for a while...didn't want to keep calling...will visit again !

We travel a lot and have stayed at many Marriott hotels. Check-in was easy and the employees were very nice and efficient. There were four adults staying in one room, so we made sure we had selected two double beds. When we went up to the room, we were given a king size with pull out couch. We also noticed there was a spot for a small frig, but there was no refrigerator. We went back down to get our room changed. The receptionist said our two double were requested but not guaranteed, even though it was in our confirmation email!! I've never heard of this!!

We went back up to make the pull out bed and found no sheets. We called down and said they would bring them up. We waited but no one showed up! We decided to pick up sheet on our way back in, since we had plans for the night. When leaving to go out, we talked to the employees at the front desk. They said they would call us if something became available. Nothing became available so two of us had to sleep on the couch!

The next morning when checking out, my husband talked to another receptionist. She said our problems had to do with the way Expedia booked this room. I've never had a problem with Expedia. Not very happy spending almost 200.00 on a room and had to sleep on a pull out couch!!

The Norman Family Reunion was hosted at this location July 13 thru the 15th, last weekend. Overall I enjoyed the facilities, as I am a Marriott Rewards Member. The room was nice, clean and fresh. We slept very well. The catered food provided as part of the family reunion served in the main ballroom was not. The chicken was dry, and covered some red sauce that sat on top of the chicken like a toupee. At first cut into it the chicken, the entire top came off in one piece, (separated from the chicken)? Reminded me of a bald guy removing his toupee before going to bed. For me, the best part of the meal was the salad. The cheesecake looked and tasted right out of the freezer after the thawl. I know you can do better? This was certainly was not the memorable experience I was expecting from the Marriott Corporation. My wife and I had planned to stay two nights but after the food experience we checked out Saturday @ noon. If I had hosted the event and the food was like this, I would have requested a redue or a partial refund. I am the planning Manager for our Event next year in Cincinnati. I was considering your sister facility in West Chester, Ohio. After the experience at your site, it's back to Sharonville Convention Center for 2019. Sharonville hosted as mentioned by other family members, the "Best Family Reunion Ever", simply because of the food experience. It was First Rate. I hosted my 45 class reunion in 2016 at Sharonville Center and garnered the exact same response, "Best Ever".

I was satisfied with our room in almost every way. Room was clean and orderly, king-sized bed was nice and cushy, even sofa sleeper was comfortable. Bathroom was ultra modern, with glass doors, and square sink and handle. I loved two-headed show head, one for tall people and one hand-held for short people (like me). Minor observances - Section for hanging clothes and suite case was a little snug but workable. Refrigerator was nice but did not keep soda/water cold as I would like. Over all I enjoyed my stay.

I was lost, on the way to a wedding shower about 11:45 AM, and stopped for directions on Sunday, Aug. 24. The staff at the desk was so helpful, printing out directions for me from the hotel to the shower. Thanks to them we arrived in time for the luncheon and all turned out well.

While the hotel itself is very nice, the service is lacking. I have a 9 day trip out here for work to visited a distributor and was offered a special rate and breakfast voucher. While my coworker recieved this I was told I could have the rate but was not eligible for the breakfast vouchers. Requesting a wake-up call is ridiculous they forgot to write it down and have only call 1/3 days I have requested so far. When trying to resolve I was hung up on by the front desk. While they have offered a sales representative to assist me, she can not match the offer my coworker has for some reason. This has been an exhausting trip with rude and unapproachable staff that talk over you. The only redemption is their excellent chef. I am sorry guest must get past the lobby to experience his work.

A decent Marriott, but from the design it feels more like a Marriott Courtyard. The restaurant is nothing special - the fish is not good but the steaks are decent. No wine selection to speak of and the bar is not very nice. The rooms are spacious and clean and overall this is a rather new hotel. There are some basic restaurants and malls in the vicinity of the hotel but for fine dining you need to take a drive. The reception staff is friendly but a bit too buddy-buddy for a professional hotel like a Marriott.
