Staff wasn't knowledgeable. Beer was okay, I've been doing the micro brew thing a lot lately, but this one wasn't as impressive as a lot of the other in the area. But they were solid beers! I had a favorite, although I can't remember what it was because the samplers all come separate with no description. Oh well, not worth going back too.

The beers are really good. Cool set up and there are board games.

Great Brews on Tap!!. They have Card Games, Board games, and even more dope a ping pong Table!!

Decent beer, small venue. It'd probably be worth coming here on a Tuesday, the 20 minute line was longer than the beer merited.

Very friendly bunch of people. Excited to show off their new business. It's about time San Jose got some more breweries. I think I'll head over there now, in fact!

Brand new place, still a work in progress, but I think the space will lend itself well to the brewery. The staff was nice and beer was good.

Great local beer brewery. Always crowded and the parking is difficult, but the beer is worth it.

The beer is delicious (especially their sour), and the people are really friendly.

Great place to hang out with firends. Good beers. One note on the side: All IPA's here are on sweeter side. Not the best place for IPA enthusiasts.

Their beers have a way to go... But the promise is definitely there. Some of my favorite breweries (Hermitage for example) started off with beers that may not be as flavorful but given the chance they grew into their own. I'll be visiting a couple times a month to taste their progress. I foresee great things.

Great variety of beer, and all are excellent! Also has an awesome dog-friendly patio.

I always have a wonderful time when I'm at clandestine. It's like drinking with friends in your living room. Wonderful staff and excellent beer.

Just the best service and delicious beer. Can t recommend this place more if you re looking for a chill spot to hang during the day. Everyone was so friendly and informative.

An awesome place to while away a few hours sampling tasty beer.

Great selection of beer to be had here. Including a bunch of harder to find styles. The seating was plentiful with communal picnic tables basically. The bartender was cool.

Came here on 4/8 around 12:30p... originally tried going to Hermitage but they were closed so ended up here. I have no complaints about the experience! Outdoor seating was great, the beer was delicious, and the taco truck showed up at the right time. The beertender was very nice and polite and let me try a few beers before settling on something. Only thing is the inside is fairly bland on decoration but honestly I'm there for the beer. Will definitely return!

The beers l tried where very good. I was happy with the taste of the craft beer and the ambiance. I will definitely be returning for a relaxing time enjoying their brews.

Clandestine is worth the wait for when it opens at 4pm starting on Thursdays. The beer selection is amazing and even if you don't like a style, you should try it to see what one of the five (I think) brewers' take on it. Chris was a great beertender, the locals are friendly and the space is light, airy, fresh and super clean. I'd definitely come back and may tomorrow

Loved the choice in beers. Not very often to find a big selection of stouts and porters. Loved the pumpkin Porter! Not from the bay, but when I visit I plan on coming here again!

Already a good selection of great beer, and a cozy little taproom. Love it!

Enjoyed visiting Clandestine's old location, so I was excited to hear that they were re-opening. Went on the first day and they didn't disappoint! The new place is bigger with more and better seating. Needless to say, the beers are all excellent. Friendly, helpful staff. It was pretty busy the first day, but when there was a line, it moved pretty quickly. I will definitely be going back.

Try the Hokus Smokus, a Polish-style smoked wheat beer.

great place thats still pre opening phase. they had 13 taps and a cool taster token idea(tokens last forever so you can come back later and use them).. the beers on tap were pretty good variety, and they're planning on keeping the variety. no food, but food truck outside.. definitely coming back for their grand opening

This new lil spot is definitely a spot to visit. Owners are really nice.... atmosphere is very chill. Only thing I would recommend is to open a kitchen. However you can bring your outside food

Clandestine is a welcome member to the San Jose brew scene. They make interesting and delicious beers, and the owners are great to talk to.

I was visiting these guys before they moved to this newer location. They had great small-batch beers before, and they continue to innovate and impress.

The tasting room is fun and well-planned. The outdoor patio (when it's not raining) is a fun place to hang out and get a bit louder. The bar is relaxed and casual - I love a good conversation with a fellow taster or an owner while enjoying a delicious pint.

I love everything about this place.

Friendly staff and you're more than likely going to run into one of the brewers while there. Wide selection of quality beers on tap and constantly new stuff available. Great patio for hanging out.

This place is ok. They had some interesting beer varieties and decent pricing on flights, so kudos to them for that, but the environment was the stereotypical warehouse with wood tables look - not very original. I might come here again if I saw a new brew that caught my eye.

Cool relaxing place even in its location hidden behind the wash n dry between 1st and 2nd streets. Bring snacks or dinner!

Absolutely love this micro brewery. They have a unique selection of beers which they keep rotating. So you get to try different beers seasonally. The staff is great and entertaining. The seating is very good, benches for groups and bar chairs and stools. They have a terrific board and other game collections. We love playing Jenga here. So much fun with the beer. All in all a great brewery in our very San Jose downtown area.

This place just caught my eye as I was driving home on 2nd Street. The interior and over all feel of the place is great. The beer selection is definitely diverse, I would recommend the brackalicious as is it was very unique. They also had a good dortmunder lager. Haven't tried their IPAs, but over all its good place to sit back and enjoy some beer! Cheers!

The lines were brand new and I could taste rubber from the hoses, also they don't have a cider only beer.
Super nice people.
Interior could use a little character, nothing on the walls.

Great little brewery. Super friendly staff. Beer selection changes every week and they also have events like trivia night on Wednesdays and comedy shows once a month. They are dog friendly so keep that in mind. It is not unusual to see a few dogs there with there owners. Beers are decently priced and it has a cool laid back atmosphere.

Great beer! Picked up 10 different crowlers as a "Shelter in Place Sampler". Definitely my favorite place for selection and have brews that my wife enjoys. Can't wait to experience the tap house.

Very nice brewery and atmosphere. I really enjoyed their IPAs. Close to downtown and other local breweries. Food truck now available outside.

The staff is very friendly, they have 12+ beers that rotate very often. its a new location but they have been brewing for years, just off downtown San Jose.

awesome selection... lots of taps with high quality selections.

Stopped here on a brewery crawl and was more than satisfied! I had just one beer, Pillow Fort, a NE IPA which I thought was fantastic. Very citrusy.

The brewery itself was on the smaller side but still plenty of room, good games including Ping Pong and was very clean. Service with a smile as well!

Another brewery with average beers. Nothing I tasted stood out, it tasted like all the other boring and bland pale ales, ipa's, and ambers of northern California.
