I was sitting at a table with some university students in the public area of the campus, by the cafeteria, when a security started going around and asking to check for student ids. I didnt have one and was requested to leave and sit elsewhere.

Have NEVER met a less welcoming university. The cafeteria and security were less than polite and had a snobbish attitude. I sincerely hope the professors show more professionalism.

Mumu then...no, then people play the main part of the Lama Temple, play the law correctly, study all the things, how many people remember, ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... Good normal credit card position can be a large woman road processing capital

Has a lot of facillities and canteens with cheap food

Interesting Campus. We often sneak in the canteens for good food.

Unfortunately I have been going here for one and a half years now, because there is no other place at Cityu that is more quiet- so i feel I can give a pretty accurate overview of the situation. There is never enough seats, so if you don't come early you don't get a seat. The security guards are rude, walk around talking loudly and even sometimes snore in their seats. Moreover the library is just for students and staff members, which is not the way a library is supposed to work.

I don t like the university The teaching level is really low for undergraduate. The teachers treat you like you are dumb and like to repeat themselves a thousand times. (Because they like the sound of their own voice?? Or maybe they think that you morons probably aren t able to understand their mastermind) You are not allowed to be critical or ask questions No room for creativity.

In the Times Higher Education World University Rankings published in 2018, the City University of Hong Kong ranked 7th in the world among young universities with a school age of less than 50 years [10].

A university with little space.

Amazing location, good political science teacher. cheap food and great place for free wifi

Able to create conditions and give full play to the expertise of scholars to serve the society.

Very bad teaching methods, almost useless lectures, I didn't learn anything. Much students enrolled in my MA course don't have the background needed to understand the subjects.

There is always a feeling of getting lost

If you are outside the school and are not allowed to use the university's public study space, the security guard may check the student or staff card ...

An university in the very expensive area of Kowloon Tong, where you have Festival Walk shopping mall and the convenience of transportation. Come and experience, you will find here an inspirational place to exchange ideas and share life stories.

Attended a conference over here. Brilliant University with student friendly atmosphere. Well connected with shopping malls and MTR of Hong Kong.

One of the best universities in Hong kong. Small campus but everything arranged.

By far the worst University in Hong Kong.
Do not trust the rankings. Increased its position from 250 to around 50 in three years time. Such gain certainly was not acquired with competence and quality, but I assume with money to the right individuals. Professors at City U barely speak English and teaching elements are nothing, but a joke. As an international student, avoid this self-proclaimed University at all costs.

Really love this place, it is not big but have anything you need. Study here is the most happy thing in the world.

not perfect, yet so many people are jealous or making it a target. This proves something, hah...

Beautiful scenery, convenient transportation to the city!

Not a very big campus, but very vibrant and the student there are very active and striving. I was brought around by my friend there and I saw a lot of posters and student societies around celebrating their youth. I do hope some day I could crash their lessons and etc. Hahas.

City University is a convenient place. Although there are a large number of people in the school, it also has a Tiantai Garden in the teaching building 2 and the teaching building 3. It is a quiet space in the busy school.

An university known to gain its ranking through the marking scheme

One of the best university in Hong Kong! Located at the centre of the city with convenient transport to every single place of hong kong.

A good place to further education. Never be regretful.

A great University with lots of study tables for students. For the teaching staff, there were great teachers that can teach well and are supportive.

It may be the most convenient, most footed, most lively, most like a shopping mall, the fastest change, the most rebuilt, the most international, the most energetic and creative Hong Kong university.

How suck is the cityu wifi
I can't understand how can it happen in a. SUPER Five star uni. What a shame.
Hope everyone who is considering CityU as your exchange uni, dun come:) it's not worth. Wifi is just one of the things that would piss u off.

I am very happy to be admitted to CityU this year.
Beautiful learning environment, good class atmosphere
And the school building is very convenient in Kowloon Tong.
But the fly in the ointment is to collect too much in the Mainland.

University in the city. The canteen between the channels is really flat!

This university is sucks so badly. Worst of its kind. Never even consider going here!
