Beautiful pool. Can't beat the scenery. What a spot. Great place to wait out the traffic on the lions gate bridge. Clean. Busy , but the pool is so big it doesnt seem so crowded .
If your from out of town , definatly spend an hour or two here... you ll be happy you did.
Great pool, very big and spacious. Good value for money. Adult's go for under $7. Would recommend.

The swimming pool was closed! Although it says on the website that they are open 11-8 pm so we trust the website but pool was close. So disappointing but we enjoyed the playground.
The beach is nice but i went on a Sunday and it was very crowded. Every garbage can was overflowing and the wind was blowing trash all over the place.. very messy and not very pleasant. It doesn't matter where you go please pick up your trash and take it home if the bins are full.

Very nice location by the ocean, wonderful views. It has a couple of nice slides for kids. Life guards available. Unfortunately no changing rooms. You can change in a wc close or change in public as some people do :S :/
I am so happy with the service I received from two staff members at Second Beach pool on Sat, Aug.1st. I had just been in a bike accident, causing our family to be late for our 12:00 public swim session. When I explained this to Pedro, the pool attendant, he not only honoured our reservation, but called the life guard to attend to my injuries, and gave us complimentary tickets to the following swim session. Drew, the lifeguard professionally cleaned and bandaged my wounds Cheerfully. I am so impressed with the exceptional service and compassion of these two extraordinary staff. They saved the day! Love this place, we grew up going to second beach In the 70's and it really hasn't changed that much except the pool has changed.. it use to be free when it was the ocean water pool..but now they charge to use it..

The pool is clean and pleasant to spend the day. Kids have fun, adults can go swimming (there's a separate area for it) and it's not that expensive. I just still don't understand why people don't go to the beach that is on the side and for free.
