The service was amazing! We had such a great time and the food was delicious! I would recommend this place to anyone!

The place looks great, a lot of money has been spent to make it nice but the meal was disappointing. The squash starter was very dry. The duck confit was tough and dry, it did not fall apart as it should. The pork was cooked with a smokey flavour that you can get next door from Bandits, it was nice and tender but not a special dish with subtle flavours that could have been imparted. The polenta was just a blob on the plate and was tasteless. It was very expensive but if the food was more special as it could have been, it would have been worth it but sadly the food let down the experience.

Great bison app and lamb shank main! Went with a group and all loved it!

We came here after making reservations way in advance from out of town. Reservation was secured with a credit card and has a strict no-show/cancelation policy.
The restaurant is very busy ,but the logistics somehow work out.
the bar downstairs is great with many excellent choices of signature cocktails.My favorite "Old Fashioned" was amazing with just enough ingredients to give that smokey familiar flavor.
The table was against the wall with windows into a busy kitchen.
Like the name ,everything gets done on open fire and tastes amazing
The prices are BIG, but that's what the neighborhood dictates now .
The portions are large enough to share. Steaks and fish are done to perfection.
Attentive wait staff work in teams and very pleasant.The dinner was paced and enjoyable.The noise level is high, although I can highly recommend for an overall enjoyable experience

I cannot say enough about how Renee and her staff turned things around. I had an unfortunate visit a few weeks ago. Renee went above and beyond to set things right. Last moght I was treated royally! The meal was fantastic and the staff was extremely attentive.

We came here for a birthday dinner. There was a group of 7 of us. The plates were great for sharing and the staff was very knowledgeable about the ingredients and accommodating of special dietary needs. Everything that we tried was delicious. I love the seasonal menu. I can t wait to return!

This is one of the coolest places in Park City to have a spectacular dinner. I can't say enough good things about it.

This restaurant is very elegant, offering multiple (I think 3) courses with a varied selection. I had an appetizer course and an entree and I was absolutely more than satisfied with both. Delicious dishes!

We love the ambiance, service, and most of all the food. Our absolute favorite dish there was the Pork Belly Cuban .

Wow! What an awesome meal!! When great service and food come together it's a magical experience. That's what we got on our Anniversary from Firewood. The food is so good. Everything has that hint of smoke, but not over powering, just enough to add that essence. Our server was attentive and had great suggestions (including me getting an entree for my starter instead of an app and salad, price was the same, and I didn't have to choose between the two entrees I was dying to try) We will definitely be going back!!!

For the last seven days, Utah has reported a 25% positivity rate in COVID testing. One in four people tested in this state are testing positive for COVID, which means many many more who aren't getting tested are also positive. Utah's Intensive Care Units are at 86% capacity, and are projected to be overrun in 20 days.

Firewood is declining to take to go orders. So perhaps the food is amazing, but I can't bring myself to support a restaurant that prioritizes irresponsible, in-person dining behavior over the individuals in our community who want to keep our service industry professionals safe by taking their food home.

Amazing food and great service. From start to finish - I was not disappointed with any of our selections. We started with the pork belly and trout goat cheese bread, dinner was the Wagyu steak which honestly we could have split. I definitely recommend you stopping by here for dinner during your stay!

This is a clear winner for Park City fine dining. My husband, myself and our daughter ate here for dinner this evening and were not disappointed. We ordered the smoked trout bread, pork belly and clams for appetizers. All very unique and amazing. We contemplated the lobster chowder, but didn t want to overdue it. Our waiter heard us discussing the soup and brought us two small portions to taste for free. Delicious. Our cocktails were high end craft and amazing, we tried 4 different ones and each were better than the next. For our entrees my husband got the NY strip and I chose the brisket. The only complaint I could have for our dinner was the brisket was a tad dry, but not enough to rate lower than 5 stars. For dessert, the Chocolate Tort was a perfect end to a spectacular dinner, my daughter even received a free scoop of home made vanilla ice cream. Last night we dined at Handle, which is at the top of many best restaurant lists for Park City. I have to say Firewood beat Handle by a long shot. Please try this restaurant you will not be disappointed.

I attended this place for a private event ans the staff was so attentive. Open bar service was well stocked and knowledgeable. Hors d'oeuvres were plentiful and timely. Great private venue for our 40-50 people. Thanks for a great night!

Loved it. Stylish offerings using freshest local ingredients. We loved the trout starter, beet salad, oxtail empanada, seed-crusted salmon, and especially the mushroom herb burrata salad. Fun cocktails and tasty seasonal desserts. I hope this place sticks around Main St a long time.

Decent concept restaurant. Our party had Celiac diners in it and the staff didn't catch gluten in one of the entrees. The duck was not crispy (don't add a sauce over crispy skin) and was on the medium well temperature side. This dish was too sweet from all the currants. Steak and salmon entrees seemed like better choices. Mushroom appetizer and cauliflower salad are good starter options.

Fabulous concept; everything is cooked over different types of firewood (cherry, alder, etc.) exceptional presentation, everything we had was very tasty!! Restaurant is lovely. Staff was helpful, attentive and friendly. Exceptional

If you like good food, eat at Firewood. Had we eaten at Firewood before eating elsewhere we would not have eaten elsewhere. We would have worked our way through the menu. The staff was phenomenal, especially Sean who provided excellent pairings and guidance.

Bad service, took forever to get drinks. Drinks are mini size and outrageously expensive. Be advised.

Seriously, probably one of the best meals I've ever had. I don't know what else I can say, SO DAMN GOOD! All the reviews said I should have a reservation, but since we were downtown anyways I thought I would see what the wait was and they sat us immediately. After dinner was over I bought my host a gift card to this place. Can't wait to go back, I cannot say enough about how amazing the food was. You should probably try to make a reservation ahead of time.

Had a lovely meal during the Park City Dine About. Unlike many restaurants, which serve cheap items not on the regular menu, Firewood actually included many of their favorite items as part of the prix fixe dinner (including their not-to-be-missed Trout Toast). Service was prompt and professional. A special shout out to the manager, Renee, for catching a small oops and more than making up for it. Definitely recommended!

Fantastic dining experience on Main St. in Part City. The oven fried chicken is juicy and tasty without the heaviness of traditional fried chicken. Appetizers were great, as was atmosphere. You can watch the chefs do their magic thru a window to the kitchen.

It s one of the very best things in life to taste incredible food. It s one of the best things in life to receive top notch service. Tonight we experienced both and we couldn t be more thankful. It just feels so good to have an experience like that. The food was so creative, fresh, and DELICIOUS!! The flavor combinations were fabulously on point. And our server Phil, (plus every other member of the staff) gave us incredible attention. Not a crumb on the table was ignored, not a water glass neglected, our every need was anticipated and met with immediacy. We will be so glad to return with our every visit to Utah.
