Horrible service and the food is so so and over priced!!!

First of all the service is horrible, the runner was super rude! She bumped into us several times as if she has been angry for her whole life. And when I said thank you when she picked up the plates. she just stared at me. Her name is Bridgest. If she is not happy working here. She should leave as this kind of job requires service mind.
Secondly, food is so so but over priced. Nothing special about this place. It s just a generic resturant and pretentious. I was really disappointed to pay so much money but unsatisfied with food.

I totally understand this place MUST BE WOW in America but if you travel somewhere else like Europe or Asia you will see that this place is not even worth of your money

As usual I forgot to make a reservation and Jenna accommodated 4 of us in the Nickle Bar at a great table on a packed Saturday night. Tracy was an excellent server and very knowledgeable of ingredients, flavors and comparisons. We ordered beets and kalr salads as apps and they were perfect. . . The salmon was medium rare at my request and the maple syrup was caramelized perfectly. The branzino fell off the skin and couldn't have been prepared better . . . Olive oil cake and zabbaglione were excellent.

Thanks guys!

Had to see about the hype. Came here for Christmas eve dinner. The food was ok, not spectacular. Only thing outstanding was the soup. The $70 steak tasted like meat from a grocery store and the $50 lamb bones were not tender, but chewy. I expected more for a $350 dinner for 2 adults n 2 kids. Will not be back.

The food was amazing. Service was also awesome! I loved my experience here. I wish I had taken pictures but I really just enjoyed myself so much and didn't even think about taking pictures till I was done! If you have the opportunity, go!

Ate at Firewood last night. Great atmosphere, OK food, slow service. Very over priced for what you get. I'm local. There are several phenomenal restaurants in Park City, but this is not one of them.

Great menu that changes often, stays engaging, and keeps customers coming back. They could get away with doing less as apres ski clientele are easy. It's a testament to the that they don't. They are dedicated artists. I can't wait to see what they are up to next!

Keeping in mind that it just opened, it's a valiant attempt at casual fine dining, but at $40 the entrees were not done correctly and the service is a little too casual although not without the best intentions. Excellent menu. However, the lamb chops were a 10/10. I expect that in 6 months this place would get 5 stars

Firewood is one of the best resturaunts I have been to this year. The owner took great care in making the space unique with handcrafted wood tables and former windmills as the fans. The staff is fantastic and takes pride in making sure that it is a great culinary experience, J.D. was a great server and gave expert recomendations. All the dishes were flavorful and had nice touches such as the scallops which were packed with flavor and the salad with locally sourced ingredients. Definetley will be back on the next visit to Park City.

I personally got steak and my cousin got duck overall I liked it because most reastraunts don t use courses and this one does so it makes it fancy.!!!!

Husband and I were visiting from out of town (shocking, I know) and Firewood was recommended for dinner by a server at lunch. We had a relaxing dinner in the downstairs bar area. Esther was our server, and we loved her above & beyond style of service. She was personable, described dishes well and was all around accommodating to special requests. When there was a small mixup, it was quickly corrected. Esther even told us she was ...happy to, its the Firewood Way . Love the professional and fun customer service. Thanks for making our dinner in PC the best!

After a long day at beautiful Park City this was the icing on the cake. Plenty of food options and all with a different flare to stimulate the taste buds. From appetizers to main entries they were all good eats! Service was top notch. A wonderful meal to match a wonderful place.

Came here expecting just a good smoked food experience and left amazed. Every minor detail of food was just delicious and beautiful. The atmosphere is great and the restaurant is beautiful. The waitress was very attentive and made the experience even better. Definitely worth the price.

Had dinner with my family at this venue.

The food took over 45 minutes to arrive. Unfortunately, that wasn t the main issue, there was a bug in my lamb.

Manager, Renae, was extremely unhelpful to resolve the issue.

From cocktails to pork belly to the BIB salad to the ribeye, the food was exceptional. This is a place where you will want to try every single item on the menu. Our server Robby provided the most amazing customer experience. I always believe it s important to recognize a restaurant that can provide a good experience all around. Firewood did exactly this. Thank you Firewood for the hospitality and mind blowing food. We will be back every time we visit PC.

We visited during a father / son ski trip and had a superb meal and experience. Our server was very down to earth and helpful and made excellent recommendations for both the meal (Arctic Char) and the wine (Talbot Kali Hart 2013 Pinot Noir). The decor seems to be a work in progress and my son got carded at the front door (I'm guessing they pass to your server that everyone is 21 as we did not have to show ID again), but this did not detract from the superb experience. I'm told Chef John Murcko is in the kitchen and he knocked the Arctic Char out of the park. Reasonably priced and highly recommended!

The service was excellent and the drinks were magical. I had the Hamachi Caesar Salad and the Rack of Lamb. The lamb was so savory. The wife loved it for the ambiance and open kitchen.

Highly recommend for a fun night out.

Best restaurant I've ever been to, the server was very nice and guided us through the menu and we were all able to try delicious new dishes. I reccomend this restaurant anyone and everyone.

Can't wait to go to Firewood when we are in town, one of the top restaurants in Park City. While the beef is amazing, it's a real treat to enjoy a seafood dish like scallops that have a hit of fire on them. Don't miss the Fireline cocktail.

Overpriced and poor food. Servers were good and really enthusiastic, but the good experience ends there. We ordered five different dishes and everyone of them was subpar. Duck, Elk, Chicken, Lamb and Cauliflower, and none of us finished eating our entre. That should tell you something, especially since the portions are very small.

There's nothing other chef working the line.... Firewood just keeps getting better and better. They always had fabulous ingredients somehow I felt like the presentation was better than ever. Great ventilation this was a fabulous experience as always!

This place was amazing. We arrived with no reservations and the found a nice table for us. Our server Edj was very accommodating and described clearly the menu. He explained in full the concept o the chef and we were intrigued Best filthy belvedere martini I have ever had.. appetizer of mushroom zucchini and cashew cheese unbelievable. Salmon entree cooked to perfection. Olive oil cake was divine. Looking forward to another visit soon.

Great food and fantastic service with J'Amy our superb waitress. She was very helpful both knowledgeable of meals and perfect recommendations. The atmosphere is top notch. Staff overall incredibly attentive.
Recommend scallops and sticky dates for dessert top notch.

It's been on the list. Sometimes it takes a while to finally get out. They have huge high ceilings. They have nice table distancing. I'd love to have more pictures, but sometimes by the time we get to entrees, I'm just enjoying the food too much. This was one of those times. We had a food issue at one point. We didn't push, but the manager, and staff were so strong at caring, we mentioned it. Let's just say it was handled better than expected.
As you can see, that's a fine looking amuse bouche and cocktail. The salad was perfect. They change proteins regularly, but ours were good. Even the one they overcooked was still tasting good, it could be argued it was just a nit.
This is a nice addition to main street. Let's be honest, if main street has more than a couple really good places, we're feeling good. There's been a lot of dreck here in the past. It's good to see Firewood helping move main street the right direction.

Relaxing ambiance with attentive staff which combines for a fulfilling dining experience. Soup, salad, main dish and save room for the deserts. Rack of Lamb and Short Rib mains had complimentary sides and the donut dessert must be enjoyed. Reservations with OpenTable on their website is a must.

I absolutely loved my experience at Firewood for New Year's Eve dinner. The staff were attentive and made sure that none of my food contained any nuts (I have a severe nut allergy).
The food was flavorful and the presentation was great. My favorite dish was the apple tart. Furthermore, I felt like I had left the restaurant well-fed but not to the point in which I felt nauseous.

Came here with a dinner reservation and the atmosphere is calm, the server and busser were attentive. At no point did we not have access to new silverware, water or entrees. Firewood is dining at its finest. Drinks were strong so that could be good or bad depending on what you're there for. I would highly recommend here for dinner.

Grab a table so you can see the open kitchen it was a great dining experience. The gnocchi appetizer was very well prepared and the Elk was lean, great taste & nicely done. We also tried the wood grilled brisket which went well with a glass of Pino.

Pretentious, overpriced, boring and rude

Came here with my friends last weekend. Food would be considered avg unless you live under
A rock. Waitress extremely pushy. They offer average Wine all marked up 5x. On top of this had the most aggressive girl named Brigid clear our table bump me and my wife and smiled when we looked up in awe..guess she enjoys being a bully! I regretfully paid about $90 per person. All I ate was salmon - tiny portion might I add- and underwhelming to avg ice cream! Shared two bottle of Kee-anty (as pronounced by our waitress). My wife had the brisket which was good but given the pomp with all the fire roaring in the kitchen expected a more unique taste. Clearly the fire is just for show!!!

Very good food, top notch service and had a great view of the kitchen. Portions are a bit small but you'd normally expect that from this kind of establishment. Tried 3 different desserts and all were fabulous, but the option with the pomegranate seeds was the best. Table of 6, bill was in the 700 range, but included 3 appetizers, custom drinks and a fine bottle of wine (I was told - since I don't drink).

I would eat here often if I could!

Make sure you get a table where you can view the kitchen - everything is cooked over one of several types of wood.

My wife and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. The staff was extremely friendly and very professional especially during these strange times with COVID-19. (They even brought us our own classy bottle of hand sanitizer to our table). Every bite we took, whether it was from our shishito Caesar salad, the ahi tuna, or the lamb loin, was unforgettable and delicious. Everything is cooked on a custom wood grill which gives the food a decadent smoked taste. For our anniversary, the chef surprised us with a lemon curd cheese cake (see image) which was to die for. We cannot wait to come back in the future. Go try out out, you will not be disappointed!

Had dinner at Firewood last evening. "Guys" ski trip. The decor was top notch, however, the restaurant was very noisy. The food quality was overall above average, yet expensive for the items and quantity. We know it's Park City and we are New Yorkers. A 6 ounce "American Kobe" steak was $ 44, the (3) lamb chops ( $44) were measly. The baratta and mushroom appetizers were excellent.

The greeting staff was friendly, welcoming and accommodating, However, the table service was outright "AWEFUL". Poor coordination between timing of courses, water glasses routinely empty. No bread for "along time" (despite an unnecessary request), took 15 minutes to resolve the final bill.

Firewood was recommended to us from a local who was friends with the Chef/Owner. First of all, the interior is absolutely beautiful. It has an understated ranch/farm vibe. Our server, Christina, was wonderful. She was very engaging and knowledgeable about the menu. I had the Pork Belly starter and the brisket. Both were melt-in--your-mouth and delicious with just enough wood smoke infused flavor. My wife had the Little Gems salad and the Elk. She loved them both. Our only critique is that we wished the garnish for both dishes were warmer. For dessert, we had the lemon tart. It was very good and a nice finish to the meal! I would definitely recommend Firewood!

Had an amazing experience at firewood this evening. From Rosie at the front desk, to Renee and J'amy at our table the service and friendliness of the staff surpassed anything I expected. Going in with hearing how great things were the bar was set pretty high, but they cleared that bar by a large measure. I can't recommend Firewood enough.

Also as much as I am bragging on the staff, the chef deserves even more praise. Every bite I had was a pleasure to taste.

What can I say, always awesome food! One of the best places on main Street to eat.

Took them a while to get their groove going, but they have it now!

Everything is cooked over an open flame or a wood fired oven. No microwaves or gas here!

Get a window seat and sit back and relax and enjoy the cooking show!

Firewood is the kind of restaurant that we love; one that not only has really great food, but even more so, has created a warm and hospitable vibe that makes you feel at home. I have been visiting Park City for about 40 years, and lived here for a few of them in the 90's, Firewood is one of my favorite places to dine in all of that time. We love the food here, and we truly appreciate the hospitality we have been shown here. My family will always make it a point to dine here when we visit Park City. Thanks to all of the team at Firewood! - The Lustig family

Firewood came highly recommended by some locals but my experience was not good... Maybe because it was off season, but our servers were very timid and didn t seem to know what they were doing and the food really wasn t amazing. I brought a large business group and most everyone still had food left on their plates. One person sent his roast back because it was so over cooked. I had a hard time finishing my roast as well because it just didn t taste good. My favorite was probably the meaty part of the pork belly appetizer. Based on my experience I won t be going back.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in Park City. The staff is amazing and very knowledgeable and the food is outstanding. I like to sit in the tables overlooking the kitchen because it's incredible to watch them put out such incredible food. If you have the opportunity to do one of their wine pairings I highly recommend it.

We were visiting from LA and in town for a convention! Our hotel recommended this place and it was DELICIOUS! The service was also amazing, the owner was cooking in the kitchen and you can see he puts his heart into what he does. Our knowledgeable server told us how the owner made the tables himself and the fans inside were from old windmills. The atmosphere, food, and service was great! The steak veggies with it were amazing. Thank you

I'm a little late in my review but better late then never. We came for Valentine's 2018 and they really put their best foot forward. The service was fantastic, the food was beyond compare in a way that no restaurant has managed to achieve since I've been in the valley. Plenty of places have been good but none have left enough of an impression on me that I felt compelled to come back and leave a review months later. Of course it's expensive but you don't come to a place like this to get value for your dollar, you come to experience a master of their craft practicing their art and what an experience it was.

As you move though wood floors and leather the atmosphere is calm and comfortable with leather seating with a back drop on a kitchen that is only separated by an old style french glass curtain. You get to witness the fires blazing in the background! My husband Brett and I had the scrumptious Trout Toast, the savory Mushroom Gnocchi and the sushi grade seared and grilled to perfection Salmon and the generous portion Lamb Shoulder with Beets and carrots served in herb sauce...yumm.. Both were cooked on an open fire! Even the olive oil cake desert was carefully toped with (I'm guessing) a pistachio ice cream..wooow. Brett and I have been to 9 high end restaurants in the beautiful town of Park City and we vote the Firewood as the best over all Taste, presentation, and ambiance!

We were in a very large group but it was not a good experience. The food was very inconsistent and almost all of it was undercooked (chicken, beef, and salmon). Will definitely not return when I visit again.
