Great track to see the fastest motorcycles in the world. Facility is awesome and the city of Austin is interesting, lots of diversity is how you politely describe it I suppose. But back to the track, it is awesome.

Visited for the Formula One race 2017. Great event and facilities that can handle lots of people. General admission tickets only but great views around the track still! Visit to the lookout tower well worth it!

We finally have a world class facility here in Austin TX! COTA is a fantastic track. I've been to three races so far. Formula 1, MotoGP and Australian V8 Supercars. I had G/A tickets for F1 and V8 and T15 grandstand seats for MotoGP. G/A has an advantage of watching the race from almost every turn. I've been parking myself at T1 for G/A. It's a great turn and can watch a lot of passes there. There is a ton of elevation change on the track so treking across get get tiring fast! T15 is by far my favorite and higher up in the grandstand the better. Over all food and drink is expensive here but honestly it's expensive at any major arena/event/track.

Pro tip: Parking at COTA is expensive, usually running $20 per day and $60 for the entire weekend. Park in the local lots run by families that live out in there. They charge $10 to park and the walk into the track is only 10 minutes, not bad at all.

I have visited this amazing race track/concert venue on three separate occasions. Once for the three-day RedFest music festival, and twice for three days of Moto GP motorcycle racing. The place is huge, and most of the available parking is quite a hike from the front gates. Once inside, there is even more walking necessary to see everything scattered around the track.
This is just good exercise for those in relatively good shape, but presents a challenge for folks with any kind of physical limitation.
Aside from the walking required, there is precious little shade to be found, so attendees should be advised to wear sunscreen and bring a hat and refillable water bottle.
Drinks and food are outrageously expensive, so come prepared to spend money for these necessities, if you plan to spend the whole day there, as we typically do.

Visited Austin for a Bachelor party and ventured out to KOTA at Circuit of the Americas for a bit of Go-karting fun. Highly recommend for any adrenaline junkies out there! Very accommodating for large groups and the check in process is super smooth and easy! Drinks and go-pro rentals are available on site (which I thought was a huge bonus)! These karts definitely go fast, so get ready!

Nearly everything else was awful. Traffic and parking in particular.

Awesome place. Went here to see some GT racing and had a blast. A lot of walking but very worth it. Restrooms are very clean with sensor soap and water so you don't have to touch anything to wash hands. They have food and drinks and they range from 6-12$. You can bring lawn chairs and walk anywhere on the property to sit and watch the race. If you love racing and motors, you'll enjoy this place. Highly recommend and will definitely come again.

COtA is a world-class bait and switch. They took taxpayer dollars to help build the track, with the expectation that they would in good faith try to have the greatest positive effect on the local economy as possible. They advertised a track rental program, and formed agreements with regional racing organizations. After cashing the checks for 2013 track rentals, they have now released a statement to all contracted lessees stating that they are "going in a different direction" and will not be hosting any non-professional racing events. They have the ability to fill the track with racers and spectators most every weekend of the year, filling local hotels and boosting the local economy, yet they choose to "keep their facility exclusive".

Wow.

Beautiful facility and definitely worth a drive for a first time experience. The track side is clean and more importantly has spotless bathrooms. The 360 Amp is a little less impressive but that is covered up by the frantic nature of the concerts held there.

It's probably unfair to review it at this early stage, but here we go. The track looks amazing and the main grandstand and home straight is a fantastic site. Unfortunately, for the first F1 race in 2012, they finished the track, but not the rest of the venue! Portaloos, scaffolding everywhere (for the stands) and almost dangerous gravel/rocks underfoot...

It is a good time but finding transportation back to the remote parking was a nightmare! Neither the staff nor the drivers knew the lot despite it being on the map for the raceway facility. Infuriating.

Traffic was bad when leaving waited in an unorganized mess for 2.5 hrs. No one was there directing traffic or knew how to leave. The whole day the venue could not get their stuff together. They had poor communication when we arrived.

This place is huge! I went for the X-Games, and they just had SOOOO much going on. Its got a great amphitheater with lots of seating (which I watched several great artists play!). The event staff is pretty clueless and there's a lot of confusion when trying to get around, so allow for plenty of time if you plan on not missing something at another portion of the track.

This place is completely action packed adventure. Get a map though, if you make a wrong turn you'll do ALOT more walking. Also double check the times and stage your event is happening at. The website where I purchased my ticket said concert was at 2. Turned out to be at 8. Plus when I tried calling for more information I couldn't get an answer. But I waited and it was worth it, like I said before- Action packed. Also, I didn't bring a child but if I did, I'd also bring a stroller. Lots of walking.. Kids We're worn out early in the day.

Great concert venue! My first time coming here was for a Nine Inch Nails concert and I didn't really know what to expect. The show was incredible and the venue seemed to be able to accommodate all of their crazy light show requests and special effects with props and more. There is no bad seat in the house since all of the rows are very well spaced out. Over all this is a very comfortable and flexible concert venue.
