A couch in the theater.... Oh yes!!! The seating have leather recliners which if you with a family you can lift the arm rest and sit as if your at home. It far from where we live, but we make the drive because my daughter loves it. It's a bigger theather, with many shows going on at once. Staff is friendly and helpful. They don't have a great variety on food, it's a popcorn and nachos place. They need to add pizza and pretzels at least. But there is plenty of other restaurants in the plaza. You fill up before or after. As for the bathrooms, they were kept up pretty well, haven't had a bad experience. Overall I'm happy with this place. If anything definitely go for the comfort of their seats.

Great place if you are on a budget. 5.95 All Day on Tuesdays! Must get tickets on line to reserve your speays!

Tuesday movies went up to $5.25 but it's still a cheap afternoon.

They now have reserved seats and big comfortable recliners for the same prices. My favorite theatre in Austin.

Been here a few times, all theatres have the big reclining chairs. Cleanliness is OK, noticed popcorn under chairs. Not a busy place, even on the weekends.

Chairs are nice, not as lound as a regular theatre which is a negative for me. Also no free refills on drinks, bummer.

Customer service is lacking. Brought the entire family spend a good amount of money and they were going to charge me for a small empty bag 5.00 dollars so I can share.the popcorn with my gramdson. A paper bag that probably coat them a nickel.

Good theater. Very attentive concession stand. They help you out very quickly and people look happy to work there. I wish they served food besides hot dogs but other than that, it is cool, simple.

Great theater with comfy seats!! A baby that was only a few months old crying ruined my movie experience. I have no problem with babies, but when they are making a noise and crying 2 seats next to me while I m watching a movie I paid good money for..... well that is just inconsiderate and ruins the whole experience

You can download the cinemark app and get points. With those points you can get things like a movie poster, a shirt and, MORE! Every time you use cinemode from the app you get points and a coupon. That coupon can expire. Use them quick, or they'll be taken away!!!

Love the seats and clean theaters. Private and not over saturated environment, very enjoyable!!

comfy seating, you just got to get tickets early because they fill up fast. staff has always been nice and usually a police officer is there so its safe.

Very comfortable seating and an excellent choice to see a movie

They have smaller theaters which means fewer people, less noise and other interruptions. Recliner style seating means plenty of space. Personally I'm not a big fan of the recliners but my wife loves them and most people seem to really like them. You probably need to try them to see if you prefer them. Volume level was nice, plenty loud so we never missed a word or a note of the music but not loud enough to be painful like some theaters.

The machine to get our tickets (which we bought online before going) was confusing and may not have worked right at first but we eventually got it to work. We should have just printed the ticket on paper before we left home.

Restrooms were reasonably clean. It's hard to keep them perfect because literally hundreds of people go through there in a day but we weren't grossed out or afraid to use them.

Food and drink is at typical theater prices (outrageous). But that's easy to deal with: buy some if you want to show off for the person you're with, otherwise just wait till the movie is over. It's only 1 to 3 hours so you won't starve or die of thirst. High concession prices help keep ticket prices low and give you the option of spending the extra money or not. For those on a tight budget that's a big help to afford date night.

All in all I think this is one of the best traditional type theaters in our area. Dinner theaters are a different thing and I plan to try and review a few of those too.

Would have previously given them a 1 star for sure, but the seat and theatre upgrades are amazing. Reserves seating also. If we can just get rid of the traditional theatre menu it would be 5 stars across the board.

Small theaters with reclining seats make the move more enjoyable! I can't go back to regular seats now. Just FYI- start of the new year only smaller bags will be allowed to help with the safety of everyone.

This is the main place I go to the movies. I live south so, I have either Metropolitan or Westgate theater. Metropolitan doesn't currently have assigned seating and Westgate is good but, southpark employees are always courteous and fast. Also, I like that you can pit your own butter.

It is a awesome theater. Cinemark theater is just so rad because you get to go and see the movie you want to see before anyone else. That's what makes it such an awesome theater to go to.:-)

Saw a movie by myself at 10:15p on a Monday. I ve been to this theater before but not gonna lie I was a little worried about safety since I d never gone to a movie that late alone before. Luckily the parking lot is super well lit and safe. I will say the staff seemed a little out of it, I stood at the counter for a while before someone saw me to get concessions, but it was 10 on a Monday so I don t really blame them. There also wasn t anyone ripping tickets to get to the theatres, not really a big deal but I was kinda confused and just walked in, probably could ve gotten away with not buying a ticket tbh. But otherwise very comfy seats and very clean, definitely my go to theatre.

My favorite feature here are their reclining style chairs!

Ppl dont listen bout turning off their phones while the movie is playing. They talk out loud, no respect for others. Dont take ur kids to watch thriller movies!!! Irritated I gave it 3 stars just because how my experience was tonight. We watched the curse of la llorona.

$5 dollar Tuesdays have this place pretty packed but I love it anyways. Comfy reclining chairs and friendly staff to get you your snacks and print your tickets with always clean bathrooms. Buy one of the refillable popcorn buckets and refillable cups, go see a movie on a Tuesday, where 2 people can buy tickets +popcorn and drink for ~$20.

I've only been there during the week so there aren't many people there at the same time. That being said, the staff is nice and the auditorium is clean. The best part is the seat armrests fold up so I can really relax and enjoy the movie.

The seats are very comfortable and in certain cinemas the layout makes it feel like a personal viewing.

I have been coming here since they opened . Place is very clean and up to date. For the past two times I have been going to tinseltown down the road only because I got hooked on there popcorn...the best popcorn ever. Cinemark southpark need to change their popcorn, im tired of having them fill halfway then I add the salt and butter then go back to fill the rest then going back to add more salt and butter and losing most of it in the process. Sorry southpark im gonna stick with tinseltown (isn't it all about the popcorn??)

I love having a reserved seats and a super comfy recliner. Watching a flick curled up or stretched out is fantastic! Awesome cinema. Great concession stand. Nice and friendly staff. Clean and well stocked restroom.

After a handful of years of living by this movie theater, I finally gave it a chance around a year ago. Let me tell you I've stopped going to Alamo draft house for new releases because of it.
It's always clean and even though they don't have the same policies as Alamo, I've only ever had one issue with someone being obnoxious at a movie.
I love coming on Tuesdays when the tickets are only $5.25.
They have large, comfy, and reclining seats and have ample spaces between people seated next to you.
Seriously if you haven't been here give it a chance.. It might change your mind.

Expensive, but very comfy. Definitely worth it with a movie pass.

These are the best theater seats ever! The only think that could make this place better would be to serve real food and drinks!

I was very satisfied with my visit at the Cinemark Theater. unlike with other experiences at movie theaters there were no talking and a wide variety of snacks and food to choose from at the concession stand. Unfortunately I was unable to purchase any of the snacks or concessions because of the high price. Although I'm very understanding of no matter what movie theater right go to concessions are always very pricey.

Comfy seats and good sound system. Only negative is they advertise serving beer & wine. At the time of this review they said the staff is waiting on their license.
