Cinemark South Park Meadows Review

Problems with the sodas, they tasted really bad. Talked with management with no results.

They employ lots of teenagers but that's not bad. Beer on tap, popcorn is good n fresh. I was able to get back in after exiting to retrieve my cell phone . Nice fountain at entrance.

Was humiliated and denide entrance in front of everyone for having my 2 and 3 year old with me after 6

It was just fine a good place to spend time with family

Comfortable seating with the recliners and all. But not a great selection for popcorn lovers that like different types of flavors. Other than that, it's a nice place.

Our seats were broken, but they came to fix them before the movie started. It was a very good movie

They've made some nice improvements, like reserved seating, and recliners.

Seating is so comfortable just beware of dropping your phone in between them because it will get crushed

We have always enjoyed our visits to this location, the recliners are super comfy, the popcorn is great, and the ticket buying process is fast and easy. The guy who helped us at the concession counter was very helpful and kind. What more could you want from a movie theater? We will definitely continue to visit this location.

Normally I like this place and would give it 4 stars. But last time we were here on a date. And the customer service at the concessions area was bad. Ignored by 2 workers and manager. Someone behind us got served dust while we waited. Then we had to call the manager over to help us. She gave a pathetic apology after we explained what happened. Then during the movie I noticed gum got stuck to my cloths that had been left behind. I almost yelled out in disgust from what I felt. Not our best time needless to say.

Loved it, really nice place! Just caught the 8:10pm "Run the Race" with my honey, good movie too, got really comfortable with the electric reclining chairs, had a really great time. Highly recommend!!!

Very nice theater, but the signs leading to the different screening rooms were confusing to me. I ended up in two wrong rooms before I got the my original destination. It was probably just me tho.

At the beginning I had my doubts about the place, because the lobby is not very modern compared to other cinemas I have visited, however, once you enter their rooms you discover the comfort and greatness they are. Ideal to share and watch the movie that you like the most. Very friendly staff

Great South location and right off of 35. I felt the staff was not as friendly as most theaters I've been to. Seats were comfortable and the theater was great. We went on a Saturday night and the concession stand was not taking any debit/credit cards. It's 2016 and a lot of people don't carry cash.

Disappointed how they treated me. The manager Clementine was super rude. I would never come back.

I wasn't wild about this place. It's a chain theater with apathetic staff and overpriced everything.

No outside food allowed. I bought a personal pizza at the vendor next to the theater that doesn't have indoor seating thinking I could bring it in the theater but it wasn't allowed. The movie experience was great.

Very clean n comfortable plus seating arrangement is a big plus

Reserve seating, clean and friendly staff. I would avoid it during weekend nights, a lot of young kids are around and completely ruin the movie.

Got recliner seating an adult beverage and enjoyed a midweek movie at a great price!

Recliners were comfortable. Snack bar had good prices. Toilets did not work properly, splashed water on floor. When I told staff about the malfunction, he just said"Sorry about that."

We love this theater for the seats. It never seems busy for matinee movies and the staff are okay. I find the staff are not overly helpful sometimes and do not have great customer service skills. I feel management needs to coach and be more supportive to the people that work for them.

Outstanding facility for those who are legally blind or visually impaired. Be sure to ask for your headset narration.

Cinemark has always been the best theater in south austin with great service. Now transformed with a face lift by add lounge seats also for late evening movies a bar with selections of wine or beer.

Alamo drafthouse will always be my go to place for a movie that being said this is a nice theater and now that they serve beer and wine I stop by more often.

Very small theatre with 14 screens and is very close to south Austin. Its in south park meadows mall with lot of restaurants nearby if want to dine in after the movie.
Theatres are cleanly maintained and the ambience is very good. Restrooms are bit far from the screen which might cost you few scenes if leaving middle of movie. Another thing is parking might get filled up if there's an rush and need park bit far

This theater is/was one of my favorites. Today I took my kids to see Brave, the first showing. It was my two year old first movie in the theater. Not even half way thru the movie an older lady complained that the kids were too loud. There was another couple with a little girl. Her and my son were just walking up and down. We had three ushers come in and the manager. I took my son outside for a while, the lady with the little girl followed. The manager said the kids had to be quiet!!!. REALLY!! It is a kid's movie no one told the whole movie theater when we saw Madagascar 3 to be quiet, or every other kid movie I have seen there. NOT COOL!!!! Yes it was not the manager's fault but he could have been nicer!!

Theater is clean and staff is friendly. They have reserved seating and I ve never had an issue with the equipment or staff. I did not receive any compensation for this review.

Clean and well kept. The reclining stadium seating is awesome! Being able to pick your seats ahead of time is a bonus. As with all theatres the tickets and snacks are pricey.

Location for me is great. Seating is the leather loungers, very comfortable.
Bathrooms could be cleaner.

The popcorn was little framents. Hardly any full pieces. Theater was comfortable.

I have to admit I am a bit bias when it comes to this place. The owners are family. The service and food have never disappointed. The beef fajita migas are my favorite brekfast. Later in the day the margaritas are also a huge hit!!!

I really like this place because of how easily I can access it. The seats are nice and big and recline. Their concession stand is fairly straightforward but they serve some beers.

Great place for a movie. Plus, I love that there are restaurants around it.

Advanced ticket purchase available and comfortable seating. Theater is always cold so bring a blanket and enjoy your show.

Great place to catch a flick. Especially Tuesday. Its only 5 dollars for each person to watch a movie of your choice. Good food, drinks, and service.

I like the reserved seating and that there are recliners. Makes for a very comfy viewing experience.

Comfortable seats. Nice sound system. Clean theaters. Friendly staff. Restrooms were clean and when it needed attention, the staff cleaned it right away. Prices are always high, but that's to be expected.

This is the best movie theater. He plush seating is great! And they has $5 movie Tuesday, a decent glass of wine and clean facilities.

They didn't clean are set's and trash all over the floor but great AC,Snacks and Drinks.

My favorite theater in Austin, hands down. The recliners are amazing, as is reserved seating. The employees are friendly and prompt. And they never complain when I bring in my own popcorn tub and ask for the large popcorn refill at the time of purchase, so I don't have to miss part of the movie getting a refill.

Great recliner seats. Kinda small theaters, but suiting for the recliners. Expect inconsiderate parents to let their toddlers run around and disturb everyone during the movie. And don't be afraid to have them removed.

I love this theater. Popcorn's always good, seats recline and are very comfortable, A/V always on point.

This theater doesn't support the military

They do not offer any military discounts for our military members. I am a disabled veteran and this is the only theater that doesn't offer military discounts.

Boycott this theater at all possible, Go to Regal Metropolitan if at all possible, it is only 1 mile north of Southpark. Right by Buffslo Wild Wings

Great place for comfort and a movie. The only thing us annoying is the cost of food here. That's one thing that's always annoying. No need to be a member if I have to pay $8.99"a month.

Super quiet place to share with family, wife, a friend or with your co-workers.
The price is reasonable since the seats are super comfortable, parking for others, accessible from route 35, air conditioning, bathrooms, chocolate, popcorn.
Room eight has access for disabled persons can enter with their wheelchair or remain in position B and C.
And I'm watching the dinosaurs, well they are in the ads ...
