Cinemark Roanoke and XD Review

Great theater, comfy seats, and lots of choices on concession stand

We love the Roanoke Cinemark! Clean and comfortable movie experience!

Constantly great service fast lines for popcorn, clean and best of all you can buy your seats ahead of time.

This was my first time here and the concession area can be a little confusing and a little pricier than where I moved here from. Also because it was cold outside it apparently makes it cold inside too. I like the recliner type seats. Overall a good experience though and I will see more movies here.

Everyone loves the reclining seats but also the middle armrest pulls up to make a sofa for two. Add in a couple of beers from the concession stand and it's the perfect movie set up.

This is one of my favorite theaters mostly because the seats are so comfortable and are able to lean back. It's also great 'cause the theater isn't too big so you don't feel all squeezed together or all up next to people.

Also the people have been very friendly to us. One time, I was running late and my boyfriend got the tickets. He just let them know my name and that I was on my way and they gave me my ticket when I got there. That was pretty awesome.

Being able to reserve a specific seat, a Lazy Boy recliner, and having access to plenty of concession during the movie makes this a wonderful edition to Roanoke.

Very clean, workers are friendly and helpful. Love the reclining seats as well. Over all my favorite movie theater around to go to.

Nice folks, but you'd think they would know how to actually run the ticket counter in this day and age. Two people, and both were confused as to how to sell a non pre-bought ticket.

Glad ours were already purchased, but the process was slowed down....

It's a theater. This location always seems on the warm side.

We didn't actually go in because we got to the ticket window and discovered that there were no matinee prices. We googled for spots that had dollar movies and this one came up. We were willing to pay a matinee price but we didn't want to pay $11. The reason I'm giving it a median rating is because it did come up as a dollar movie venue, but we didn't actually go in. I don't know if that's Cinemarks fault but it's an issue for us.

Great theater and seating design. Easy parking. Concession area is wonky, however, as it resembles a hospital cafeteria. Overall, probably the best theater in the Grapevine/Southlake area.

Nice theater with nice reclining seating. Lobby had a cafe with bar with a pretty good selection of adult beverages. Nice, clean theaters and restrooms. The XD theater screen is huge!

This is our favorite theater the popcorns are great the staff is friendly and the XD is amazing. They could use a more elaborated food menu.

Reserved seating and luxury loungers in every theatre. They also offer some alcoholic beverages to have with your movie in addition to the regular movie snacks.

Loved it. Reclining seat, reservation, very nice and posh.

Overall good service. They do have closed captioning devices available for use. Is very useful for the deaf or hard of hearing.

Another Cinemark theater that s rather small. The technology is ok - seems to be falling behind compared to other locations.

Each theater is small, audio and video is not quite as good but still worth checking out rather than driving too far for another location.

Price can be a bit much for XD for this quality/location.

Nice clean place. The attendant was a little slow and socially awkward but still cordial. I would go here any day.

The chairs are comfortable and food is good.

Any site that requires more that a simple credit card payment, instead of different hoops to jump through, is a pain in the butt and a waste of my time. Management: tell the higher ups to keep things simple for those of us who don't want to join anything!

This is our go to theatre. Nothing exciting. It s always clean and service is good.

Clean, spacious, and beautiful with very comfortable leather power chairs that can be made to recline fully and staff courteous staff members. I'll definitely watch movies there again.

The reclining seats are very comfortable and clean. There are a ton of snack options including ice cream, Starbucks coffee and alcohol.

Love this theater. Everyone is so nice and it is always clean.

Mist comfortable seating and best atmosphere anywhere. Movie had better be good as you are so comfortable in these seats. Just love it.

Really not that great. The front lobby with the box office/concessions is a nightmare. It s cafeteria style so you order and then pay at a podium when you re done. I ve never ever seen a Cinemark like this. I live about 30 minutes away but this theater had better showtime options so we made the trip out here. Won t come back. Too much of a hassle to order food and figure out where to pay. The employees were super friendly and helpful, but it isn t worth coming back.

Everyone here is always nice, love the reserve seating theaters are always very clean, 4stars because the concession prices are high.....

Clean, organized, and they have lounge chairs. Went to watch Halloween it the big theater and it was good. But the food and drinks are pricey.
Been going here for 4 years now. It's more comfortable than all other theaters, the arm lifts up if you wanna cuddle with your bf/gf.

It would be nice if the kiosks sold tickets to movies that were about to start instead of about to end!

Great place to watch a movie. All theaters have reclining seats. Always extremely clean. And staff is very friendly.

Usually this theater provides a great movie experience. This time, however, not so much. We sat back row center. The armrest was almost broken off, which apparently caused the footrest to be very crooked. Asked for layered butter on our large popcorn, watched the server put it on, but by the time I got back to the seats, it seemed to have all but disappeared. So, I went back down and used the butter dispenser off to the side. It was not good, and basically wasted a large tub. I was'nt going back a third time because the movie was starting. Worst of all, there were people on their phones off and on during the whole movie. When I spoke to the manager after the movie, she apologized for dropping the ball, but offered no recompense. Opening weekend for "It" in the main theater. Am I wrong to expect more?

I would recommend this location; it is fully stocked, serviced, clean, and comfortable (full recliners). We are from a small town and really appreciated this theater. They have ice cream, self-serve candy, beer, and lots of food!

Always clean and the leather recliners I find are more comfortable than the ones that AMC uses.

Can't say enough seat are very relaxing. This theater was great when i missed my movie due to an accident they changed my tickets to a different time. Thank you for understanding.

Small theaters means lots of sitting in the first couple rows. Good seats. A little pricy.

I love this theater! Clean and comfortable theaters make for a great movie experience. You just have to make sure to plan your trip due to reserve seating.

Wonderful and helpful staffs! Has about 4 Kiosk outside by the entrance and one inside by the ticket counter for convenience. And of course, great food!!!
