My daughter goes to The Cincinnati Ballet Academy, and she loves it! It is pricey (around $450 from Sept-june) but that is actually around the same at just about every dance studio in the city, and you don't get as much. The instruction is the best around, this is my daughters first year and she already knows so much! They have a big spring production at the end of the year (you pay a costume fee with your registration fee) and you get a copy of the production DVD. Well worth the price and the costumes are gorgeous! Please don't listen to that five year old review, The Cincinnati Ballet Academy is worth the money!

My full length review can be found posted at criticaldance.org titled Cincinnati Ballet, "Swan Lake"- a link to it is presently listed on its home page. Or I also posted it at Goodreads posing as a review of M. Fonteyn's children's story of "Swan Lake". My member name at Goodreads is searnold. Yes, it is a shameless hagiographic rhapsody of ballet.

Heather Britt is an adult bully. She will yell, harass and humiliate you in front of others. Do not take her classes. The ballet academy shows favoritism. Only favorite students will be selected for performances. Pay to play so to speak. Never complain or they will black ball your child.
