Stayed here at cabin 38. $180/night

Last minute booking but pretty underwhelmed by the lodging. Very tacky rooms. Floors are mushy, strong cleaning order. Very prefabricated feeling. It was fine for what it is and we didn't spend much time in the lodging but yeah, not highly recommended overall

These guys are a quality store sharing quality experiences. I am a fly fishing guide and fishing manager at another fly shop in Colorado and still have the need to come in and say hi to these guys when passing through. They always make you feel welcome and they WANT you in their store. Too many times in our industry people are met with attitude at the door and that is NEVER the case with these guys.

The cabin has a little cozy atmosphere to it. The scenery is something to take in with appreciation. Recommend a two day two nights stay. It is surrounded by a few national forests and parks just a couple hours away.

I have yet to stay here, but my husband and I are now planning a trip based solely off the owners response to the "bad reviews".
Well done! People always find something silly to complain about.

We just stopped for a meal a couple days ago. The manager and staff were very friendly. The kid meals are a great deal for real food. It was a good stop for all of us. We will definitely visit again.

This may be an underrated review, but for $2000 dollars for a couple days. I kid of expected better co.modities. all the appliance were around 20 years old. The dryer didnt work, come to find out the breaker was tripped. The bed mattresses are old and extremely uncomfortable. And the master bed is a full size. One of the rooms won't heat and the owner keeps telling us someone will look at it but not fixed after 3 day. This really put a damper on our sleeping arrangements leaving us a room short because it drops to 5 below 0 at night. All in all though. The cabin is beautiful and the lady at the front desk was extremely nice. Just expected more for the amount we paid.

We rented a cabin here for the arts festival weekend in Crested Butte. They are pretty cool with a 4 foot loft area that holds two more beds.

Resort itself is beautiful with a river running through it.

Downsides. Not dog friendly. Not marijuana friendly. Not friendly if you need to change your reservation. Not friendly if you need special accommodations at all.

It does seem to cater to families that are enjoying the local water sports but you can read the other reviews for that.

Good and beautiful accommodations between Gunnison and Crested Butte, especially if you have a big group with you.

This is our second time to stay there in our RV.

This is our second time to stay there in our RV.

The spots are close together, but each one has a little grassy area, a bbq grill, a picnic table and a pad. The pads are weird, as they were built for Park Model RV's to be there permanently, so the hook ups for water and sewer are in the middle, under your RV. They have big pipes coming out to make hooking up sewer easier, but be careful, they can snag under your unit and break off (we accidentally broke ours when it snagged on the jacks).

Staff is friendly and helpful. We'd certainly stay there again. The location is awesome. Between Gunnison and Crested Butte and very close to Taylor Park. It's right there for raft rentals and fishing if that's your thing.

Quaint cabins, providing the essentials and not much more. The staff in the office (when we got hooked up with the right person) was fairly knowledgeable and very courteous. The breakfast burrito was spot on (fyi, if you go with sausage it does have a little kick).

We were here to offroad and its close proximity to taylor park and crested Butte were perfect. The trail behind the cabin wasn't bad either (little rocky for my taste but nice and scenic).

WIFI is spotty at best but you aren't here to play online. Don't count on a connection lasting longer than 60 minutes and nowhere near enough bandwidth to stream Netflix, Amazon or Hulu.

Our group was three couples (on a motorcycle trip) and we went water rafting on August 6 2020. So much fun! Our guide was Vito and he was excellent. He was obviously well experienced. He knew where every rock in the water was. He not only made it enjoyable, he gave us helpful tips on which scenic roads to check out after our raft ride. I would highly recommend!

Thanks, Three Rivers! My wife and I had a wonderful time visiting the area mostly because of our rafting guide, Ouray. He didn't lose a single one of us!! . And also to Christy who saw to the special needs of our cabin. Thanks again to the staff. We're planning to come again soon!

We did not actually stay at the resort but their fly shop is located within the resort. The fly shop is small but very nice. The gentleman running the shop was very knowledgeable regarding what flies to use and where we could fish. He spent time with us showing us maps of how to reach each destination. The prices were reasonable for a fly shop (we do not participate in a cheap hobby). He had a nice selection of flies and other equipment. He also rents the necessary waders, rods, etc. We would certainly return next time we are in the area.

Our first visit here was over Thanksgiving. We had such a great visit probably the best holiday we all have had. We stayed in a cabin on the river that had a private hot tub on the back deck. We all enjoyed the hot tub so much along with the views of the river and the sounds of the water rushing by. So very relaxing early in the morning and at night. Fishing on the river right outside our door and Hiking all around the area kept everyone busy. We were able to bring our dogs which made our family vacation even more special since we did not have to worry about leaving them behind. The dogs enjoyed all of the hiking and the privacy of the cabin as much as we did. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The cabins are well supplied and outfitted and had everything we needed. Overall a great experience highly recommended for a peaceful relaxing Family Getaway!

We had a group of 12 stay at one of the cabins at the Three Rivers Resort. It was a fantastic experience! The cabins were clean, spacious, and authentic. There was also a hot tub! The cabin is also only 20 minutes from Crested Butte and Gunnison. I definitely recommend the Three Rivers Resort.

It seems to be a well run business. The process was smooth and really no unnecessary waiting or anything. Personally being a guide from years ago in the east I was surprised they let you go without a helmet. Seems like a simple thing that could save someone from getting hurt if they fall out. I've seen what could happen there first hand. The upper which sported class 3 rapids was very technical with a lot of rocks. Had a nice time

Log cabins are the greatest. This place is nice. My partner and I staid here with one other couple and I could not see how a cabin could be better. Two rooms, one bathroom, well stocked kitchen, very clean and tastefully decorated, there was a grill for us to cook steaks on, a table for us to gather around, and a great hot tub where we can see the stars and hear the rivers gentile babble.

The location was beautiful! The cabin was clean & the staff was friendly, which made the experience a lot more enjoyable. Not far from Gunnison or Crested Butte. The Black Canyon was the best part of the whole trip. Definitely will be staying there again!

We did river rafting on the Taylor. It was the best we had ever had for rafting. Well organized and well run. Ate at the Three Rivers Smokehouse afterward. That was a little different. Food good. Service ok.

The previous year, we had a rub with the Owner over ice. I asked the waiter for some ice for fish. I didn't know where else to get ice around there. We were eating lunch there. The young man who waited on us generously brought a bucket of ice. The Owner found out and got all in a bunch over it I guess because we did not buy ice. I thought it was a little much over a bucket of ice.

Wonderful resort for great outdoor activities from rafting and fishing to hiking and local exploration or quiet cabins for relaxing and reading a book. The staff is friendly, kind and very helpful. Superb!!!!

Perfect white water rafting experience!

Perfect white water rafting experience!
Our family did the Lower Taylor white water raft trip which is Category 1 and 2. It was our first time white water rafting and the experience couldn t have been better. We opted to paddle instead of float because our family likes more activity with teenagers. That was a great decision to engage in the raft ride. The Taylor River is a controlled river so Three Rivers Rafting is open all season as opposed to other river float companies on other rivers. Our guide, Alex, was experienced and made the raft, float trip fun and enjoyable. Remember to tip your raft guides!

Comfortable beds. On the river. Road noise is a bit much when trucks drive by, but very clean. Love to see a larger table (foldable) and better lighting for tying rigs and working on gear at night.

Our time at the Three Rivers Resort was just great. Between the scenery and the people, you can't ask for to much more. There's plenty of activities for people of all ages, and a lot of trails for hiking with your four legged family member as well.

Eric Grand with Willowfly guided tours gave me a great first float trip experience! Only my third time fly fishing and with his guidance (and impressive boat navigation skills) I was able to catch 10 or so fish, biggest about 19 inch rainbow trout. Another guy, unsure his name, fitted me with my new Orvis wading boats for a reasonable price. Thank you both! Will definitely be back next year!
