I had a very unique vision for my wedding dress, we looked at some previously made dresses and came up with a custom design that really fit my dream wedding. Very personal service, really excellent group of people with great sewing talent!
Morgan is amazing! All dresses are made in-house and customized for you AND you get the entire store to yourself when you try on dresses.

From the very start, Morgan and the crew at Cicada made me feel welcomed, safe, brilliant, and beautiful. I had visited several Seattle bridal boutiques, consignment shops, and NYC bridal stores - Cicada by far went above and beyond to provide me with the easiest, most comfortable and empowering dress shopping experience. I had a simple dress in mind, and having the power to choose pieces of other dresses to turn into my own was spectacular. For any unconventional bride (or conventional for that matter), I highly recommend Cicada - I never thought having a handmade custom gown was in my price range, but Cicada made it happen for me. I cannot recommend Cicada highly enough. They helped me create my *DREAM* wedding dress they have also been amazing in their support in getting it done during COVID times and a death in the family that both derailed my wedding plans. They went above and beyond and it has taken a huge burden off my shoulders. If you're looking for the nicest and most helpful business to work with for wedding dress needs you could not do better than these lovely ladies.
I really wanted to like this place but they are discriminating against people with disabilities and they assert that they will continue to refuse service to people like me. Nevermind the fact that they literally get up in peoples cleavages to make alterations yet if I don t wear a dangerous bandana over my face, that somehow justifies this selective application of made-up science. You see, I am unable to wear a mask or shield for private medical reasons, and they seem to feel righteous about adhering to the mandate with no medical exemptions even though this is not a law backed by any legislation. They are in contempt of federal ADA laws and I have filed a complaint with the ADA accordingly. I am very sad about this because I had believed they were some of the most skilled dress makers around. I truly hope they will wake up and change course.
The owner of this place was more than gracious and was perfect in helping me find my wedding dress on a budget. She is an amazing designer and lovely person that made me feel comfortable and had a wide selection of dresses!
Love this place, they made my dress for my wedding and it was spot on, fit like a glove the first fitting. They just hemmed it and tightened the lace in the back at my request. I love my dress! It is not at all like those cupcake, corset dresses sold every where else. All the dresses are beautiful and just my easy going style. I still feel bridal and very pretty in my stretchy lace gown. Every employee and both owners were very helpful. I honestly have no complaints. Ill post a photo after the big day!
