Fancy place, great for dinner, events and hanging out

I loved the fibe, plenty restaurants serving delicious dishes.

Monte Casino has nothing new since it opened up back in the late 90's or early 2000 .

I do enjoy the bowling alley as it attracts a decent type of crowd but i can't think of anything else that will draw me back there.

Always great a great place to be at, please try out milky Lane savouries called "shebang"...

Had a lovely lunch and then saw Peter Pan which was outstanding!!

Thw kids area is huge, there is enough space between the games, lots of coin and ticket machines.

We really had loads of fun. Will be going there again soon

Fireroom is a great place to try all sorts of interesting dishes from Predator meat to flamed sushi. Chic setup, great for couples and families. Monte adds a European setting and would recommend a visit.

Welcoming for all ages. But they need to have daily access parking because if it happens that you came in and you forgot your wallet at home then you have to go back after you have paid for the parking. So I had coins in my car which I used for parking then I realized I left my purse I had to go back and I had to pay again. So please have a days access parking with the registration number so that people will not share the parking or have an arm band for the driver.

Good hotel. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. But not great for the expensive price. Furniture seems to be wearing out, the showers not so nice (the shower switch almost broken, not enough water pressure), beds are not very comfortable. 150 euros in south African standards is super expensive and should be top notch. Breakfast was ok but you have to pay extra for sparkling water! Also in the room 2 small bottle of water is complimentary. Again not ok. Lot of good restaurants in the casino with very good prices. So this is the positive part.

The comedy club is top notch. Also an amazing place to grab a bite to eat from one of their many top-rated restaurants, or to spend some cash in the casino. A great place to go for all ages.

Exceptional ,exquisite casino both locals and international playground.There's a variety of restaurant's and stores to choose from.

I have been going to Monte for years.
Once you enter the doors you walk into a different world, you forget your are in the busy Fourways/Joburg.
With a vast verity of shops you quickly lose track of time.
Every time I have been to Monte the experience has been awesome.

Worth the R 10 parking.

Always a fun and festive place to visit. Seems there is always a vibe and air conditioning. Both are prerequisites;)

Monte is a nice place in general. I have a decent time whenever I am there. I do feel that a few shops and restaurants could do with an overall update (the look, and service)

Place located in Sandton excellent for dinning and entertainment... worth visiting

So much to see and do, one of my favorite places to go. And please don't leave before getting a specialty coffee from Seattle, amazing!

Good spot for a day / night out with friends or family or a loved one that offers a lot of variety. Lots of nice high end restaurants to try out, or you can go to the food court for some quick meals or fast food. Cinema and arcade available for entertainment for younger ones. A few shops for books / clothing / gifts. Two theaters with live shows and a comedy club. Sometimes events like expos are held outside. There is also a bird garden close by. And of course the casino for slots or poker... Enough parking available. A few hotels close by and in surrounding area. Lots of traffic in surrounding area, so plan accordingly if you need to be there by a certain time.

Beautiful place , lovely environment and kind staff

Their machines are broken and nobody fixes them. To get assistance you always have to find a group of people socialising and that will be the staff you have been pressing buttons for. The staff are pleasant enough and polite.
The cleaners don't keep the ash trays clean when they are busy they only come round after the crowds are gone.

Just a great place to have a good time, so much to do, plenty restaurants, absolutely gorgeous environment that is so well kept and with 2 theatres, one being the outstanding Teatro, I just love Monte!

Love this place! It's where I met my current husband (together since 2010) and we've always shared great memories with friends, family and of course one another.

This casino has allot to offer, they have entertainment that can keep you busy for hours, a bird park, balloon rides, "street performers", lovely fountain show, beautiful live theaters that host amazing shows and so many amazing restaurants and bars! Monte is always the place to go for us when we have nothing to do!

Montecasino is such a beautiful, great and wonderful place where everyone can enjoy nicely . In Montecasino there are a lot world class Restaurants, like KFC, Nando's and Ocean Basket. Also Indian and Asian cousins are there. Hollywood and Bollywood Cinema is also there. Entertainment is for for Adults, kids and for families too. Montecasino is worldwide entertainment center for local and for international guests. I love this place I always enjoy my chocolate coffee , and and indian food.

What an experience, it has truly been something to see and experience. Well maintained, shuttle services, endless fun and resturants available to you. Cinema, resturants, ten pin bowling and many more to do and see with a world class casino

As always Monti is stunning, the restaurants are packed and food are to die for. The casino on the other hand is a different story!! Too many OLD machine's. Machine malfunctioning, no help in sight. Pay out machines dispense only R20 notes??? Smoking area the ashtrays overflowing and dirty. At pay out counter the one lady, was so rude to a colleague, clearly she did not want to be there, and the clients comes last. She just glared at me!! Some of the people are "falling" they are so so very drunk, no security intervening, bumming cigarettes off people playing at the machines.

It is a very beautiful place,its like you are truly in Europe.

First time here but the place is massive and lively, the Mall is 3 minute drive

Always a pleasure coming here. This time we were here for the Festival De Mexico. You're greeted by friendly and helpful staff from the second you pull up. There's always ample parking space available, so paying that R10 for parking is never an issue-still cheap actually. Inside you feel like your walking through Italy. The place is always clean. Even when it's busy, it's never crowded and the entire place is clean including the toilets. Keep it up guys

Very difficult to believe you're at the tip of Africa when you're here. Very classic bordering on cheesy but amazing options all the same.

Super Casino with all Games. It has movie theater, Good Restuarants including indians. Nice day and night theme. 10km from sandton

Visited the bird park. The interior of the casino is breathtaking, designed to be like an Italian village. The ceiling is a cloud flecked twilight sky. The bird park was lovely. The birds, lemurs and little buck were in a wonderful condition, much livelier than the inhabitants of the Johannesburg Zoo. Observed a keeper feeding red lemurs. Obvious that she loves them and they her in return.

Great place to go with the kids. Monte has everything you need in one place. One stop entertainment!

Great atmosphere... Restaurant's are nice.. But lacking... That special flavor to the food court... Hooters and ocean basket... Is your best choice. Casino is great and gives off the Las Vegas flavor.

A little Italy. Stunning views and a really enjoyable walk around.

If you want an escape to a rustic piece of Italy in Johannesburg then Montecasino is the place for you. The idyllic architecture is reminiscent of some small town in Milan or Paris. Walking through the cobblestone passages and staring into a picture-perfect blue sky gives you a sense of being in Europe. There is entertainment galore, whether you want to host a light brunch, catch the theater or just have a romantic dinner, Montecasino has everything from cinemas to games and so much more!

Meat company served an underweight fillet steak. In stead of 250gm it was smaller meat cut butterflies to look bigger. The chedder cheese sauce was lumpy and tasteless. Worst meal ever. Restaurant is deteriorating.
Last night we visited Yume. I ordered item 12 and requested no chopped salmon with no sauce but only one slice of sashimi. I was served a bowl of fried rice with four pieces of salmon which i refused and took 2 other eaiters before they realised what i want. As I am allergic to shellfish, witch was explained to the waiter I ordered tempura vegetables as a second course.
We waited so long my wife eventually phoned the restaurant from our table to request service at our table. After a couple of minutes they came back and said my tempura prawns are almost ready..
Needles to say we requested the bill and left. The shift manager was also non committed. We have supported the restaurant since its opening and are well known by all staff.
Will never return to Meat Company or Yume.
They can just as well close their doors for business.

The building and gardens are absolutely fantastic! The restuarants are for everyone's tastes!! Loads to choose from!! Casino for the people feeling lucky!! Loads of parking!

This is a very nice place to just walk around and enjoy the atmosphere.

The place is beautiful but not very exciting in terms of spending a lot of time outside the casino.

Great burger at Rocomamas, and the bird gardens were fantastic!

Spectacular view of the dam, excellent ambiance and good food. Waiter took too long to come around to check on us and as such had to keep on sending for him.

Terrible. Went to the casino... Felt like I was at home affairs!

Very lively and offers a variety of entertainment. Several restaurant options to chose from. Fabulous just to stroll through and enjoy the vibe. I love it.

What can you say, it is a casino. However it has still kept its looks after quite a few years now. The restaurants are excellent with a really wide variety to choose from. They have upmarket, middle of the road and fast food places. Parking is easy and there is a lot to do there, not just gambling.
