I like the atmosphere and the food is good. I have always had good service, which is definitely a reflection of the people running the store.

This is my go to place when I need a New Mexico green Chile fix
I could just eat chips and salsa. So good. Great environment. Excellent service.
I love it here! Food is great and staff is always friendly.
Food was good but Google maps took me to a some random other building. Fix your maps... Food was pretty good though.
No wonder this place has a 4.4 stars of rating. polite staff with great food and good quantity. Loved the fresh and hot chips as always. I would give this place 6 stars if I can.
Solid Mexican food with good margaritas. It's very popular so expect a wait but it is usually fairly quick.
My wife likes this place, the Beef fajitas are excellent too
Such good food. The salsas were so yummy and the service was just soo nice! I totally will go back.
Food is always great but for some reason it's so loud we can hardly hear each other.
NO fried avocado at this location, so sad but otherwise food was delicious waitress help me find something comparable.
Love their queso! Usually busy with a wait. Wait staff is usually very good.
I have had come to Chuy s countless times, I love the food, service etc., but today I m not sure what happened, service was bad, waited for +-15 minutes for my queso , and 30+- minutes for the food, and on top of it, the food flavor wasn t the best!!., and my waitress was more focus on a bigger party than my party of 2 ., I m not sure if I m coming back,
Delicious as always! The waitress was very cheerful, too.
Service was prompt and friendly, ordered the special, street tacos and the corn tortillas were over cooked and leathery. I've been to this location a few times and this a as the first time the food was poorly cooked.
We ordered food and appetizers it to two hours for main dish to arrive and my shrimp taco was cold. Won't return.
texmex, super delicious. really nothing but great experiences here, so i will be back. prices are decent.
It's an Austin staple. This location has all the charm of the barton springs location but with a lot more parking!
Love this place for great Tex-Mex and amazing Mexican martinis.
We love the food at Chuys. Although they can't serve their great soup yet, the fajitas were great. Bradley was our server, and he was very friendly and efficient.
Always busy for lunch. Get there before 11:30 if you have a big group. Tons of food and great quality. Be prepared to have little longer lunch, this is not dine and dash
Chuy's is some of the best Tex-Mex in Austin. Especially delicious are the New Mexican martinis and the tres leches cake.
Honestly my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant that I've ever been to. The chips and salsa are incredible; the pico based salsa that they serve to every table is flavorful, spicy, and always delicious. I love the Chicka-Chicka Boom-Boom enchilada with green chile rice on the side. The Boom-Boom sauce really does have a boom-boom to it and anything with green chile is fantastically SPICY and delicious!
The location in Google maps is completely incorrect
True Tex-mex joint but they measure all drinks to a tee with a jigger. I got 1/2 oz. tequila on a margarita ...Don t expect the same level of service as with other Tex mex joints. Not enough servers.
Spending precious time with old friends...great food with a kick and awesome staff
I always have a great experience here Austin original! The best happy hour in town very nice and friendly staff chuys had never been a regret I wish I could say that about more places
Just had the poorest steak fajitas and meal we have ever been served at Chuy's. The steak was dry and overcooked and very little of the vegetables wete left after they too were cooked to nothimg. I usually highly recommend Chuy's, but not after this meal.
Always a good place to grab lunch or dinner and cerveza.
Best Mexican food I've had since moving to Texas. Love it!
The hostess was pleasant, and our waiter was excellent. He was very attentive and catered to our needs. The food not so much.
The queso was sweet almost like there was sugar in it. I ordered the veggie enchiladas. There were barely any vegies inside the enchiladas. The red sauce on top had an odd taste. My refried beans appeared old & were very salty. The rice had way too much cumin or paprika.
My daughter ordered combo meat fajitas. The meat tasted really smoky like it was grilled earlier and sat in a steamer too long.
This is the third time I didn't love my food at Chuy's. In my opinion, the food seems like its prefabricated. Its disappointing because Chuy's used to serve awesome food.
I love Chuys. Had lunch with my brother and helped forget the election after voting with a couple house frozens. We all love the Jalapeno Cream Dressing on everything!
Friendly service even when they're busy. I love this location we go almost every week. Chuys is my favorite restaurant and this place is fun, even when there's a wait!
The food was great, the outside atmosphere was lovely, drinks very tasty and healthy the company was even better. However the waitress suggested splitting up our check. One by credit card the other cash, and her tip. She charged it all to my CC and kept the the cash as her tip. So I had a million questions as to how she chose to do that, and where was the change. The girls math was HORRIBLE. When you start drinking, others tend to think you've had too many be and attempt to take advantage....
Guy (black) who brought the food to our table didn't say any word at all, he placed the food on the table. I really thought he was mute or deaf or plain rude. Well, few minutes I saw him laughing loud and talking so I guess he is rude and has no customer service skills to be serving or dealing with the public.
Very nice casual Mexican. Good healthy choices as well.
Really good Tex Mex that's green Chile centric. Great margs. Great salsa that's exceedingly fresh. Free nacho bar with beef and queso while you wait or if you just want to hang in the bar.
I normally love this place, the service is always good and the food is always good, unfortunately the last couple of times I've been there the service was a little bit slow, the food fajitas we're not very good at all and they took 45 minutes to get to us after we had ordered. Three other tables that were seated shortly after us had eaten and left before we even got our food.
Huge portions. Never had a bad meal (but never outstanding), all around solid.
Consistently good Tex Mex. I highly recommend the chicken tortilla soup.
Not a bad location. It can get extremely busy at times, though. Especially lunch time on Sundays.
Absolutely fabulous! Their white sauce has a little zing of heat but makes whatever they put it on scrumptious and in my case it was the chicken enchiladas. Great place, fun atmosphere and delicious food!
Super busy as always. No chips at the self service area.
Wait not usually bad, staff very friendly, love the fajitas
My wife and I have been to this chuy's many times. The chicken flautas are my go to with the creamy jalepeno. The servers are almost always on top of things, even when it's lunch rush or dinner rush.
Always great food, great Vibe, great drinks, great time!
Excellent Tex Mex. Austin original and Austin staple. The chicka chicka boom boom sauce is incredible very spicy.
Awesome decor. Ihad the Elvis Chicken and it was reallly really good. Service was excellent. Also, I used to live on the east coast and prices were very good. Would definitely go again
The server was good. Very attentive, I feel bad if I may have gotten the bartender in trouble. I made a crack about the food comi ng to the table before the alcohol. But the food was easy to make, it was all stuff they had prepared like tortillas rice beans etc. I noticed somebody outside on the patio was complaining because they were receiving inconveiently slow service.
This location has awesome service! For some reason I think they have better chips and fresh salsa as compared to all other locations !!
Best queso! Delicious Tex-Mex, especially the Enchiladas Ricas special.
Chuy's is a timeless staple of Austin tex-mex food. Great daily specials. Awesome service. Buy the enchiladas and get flan for dessert.
Chuy's food is consistently good, but the wait staff at this location aren't up to par. Service is slow, infrequent, and forgetful.
Juan was our waiter. He was the bartender too. He handle his table and the bar with great grace and the best attitude I have seen in a while in any restaurant. We will definitely be going back to this one. Oh and the food was awesome!!! Everything came out at the perfect times. Great job!!!
Staff is friendly, they remember us when we go there before Costco, and the fajita quesadilla rocks!
Chuy's is always delicious! Waiters are always great and everything on the menu is wonderful! Eating at Chuy's is a family tradition every time we come to Austin. Chips & salsa are always good & fresh!
They were very busy. Service was quick and friendly. Server forgot to give the substitutions in the meal that I wanted.
The service me and my family received here was beyond amazing Thank you to the great staff especially the amazingly awesome PATRICK! Food was great too will never stop coming back!
food and service would get is good would go back again
Love this place and is a must when we visit in Austin
Really popular for couples/date night though parties/families can be prevalent depending on the time of day. It really depends on the time of day. Foods pretty good, salsa/chips are only ok though.
