Very difficult to deal with, I had one of their insure that hit me and was at fault when tried to personal injury claims they completely ignored me and then told me it s too late . Lying cheating company avoid at any cost

Not worth it staying with this company ,made a claim .I was told I will get only couple thousand if I made a claim. Then I was told my claim has been refused. Again I was told to get a quote. Then they refused my claim. This company is joke ,they are happy to take your money ,but would not pay a genuine claim.
I have spoken to 4 different people at least and every time I asked them email me ,so I have something in writing as a proof. None of them sent me any thing in writing.
We will be taking legal action against this company. Please be wise stay with bigger companies Tesco, Aviva, banks etc

Dreadful. They can t do the math, 1+1 = 3. Reviews are not full nor thorough. Refuse to have second reviews from alternative barristers. Ignore EU law. Ignore contractual obligations. Stating preliminary grounds are finite despite the cover stating amendments can be made for the success of the case. Does not give due care and attention. Avoid adding this option cover onto your home policy because it doesn t deliver. Barrister review was substandard. Was conflicting in its decision saying there is merit but no merit. No interest in fighting for justice and protecting policyholders. Very limited knowledge and understanding of EU law. Do not have your first free assessment with DLG. Find your own, else you ll need to pay just to prove they are so limited in their opinions and oblivious to EU law. Especially when you are being harassed with foreign court claims and even an order about the true jurisdiction (when the contract infringes EU law ok jurisdiction) would be a success to the case, but they fob you off and say even though you ll win that part of the claim we won t support because it s not a valid ground. Yet the tribunal already accepted that ground and would stop the harassment going on overseas! VERY VERY BAD HANDLING AND PROCEDURES IN PLACE AT DLG LEGAL SERVICES

I called up the other day to make a few changes to my policy at the time of renewal, I'd had a quick look at what the price would be with my changes on a price comparison site. When I called Churchill the phone was answered very quickly; I'd made the relevant changes and got a very good price all within 8 minutes. Normally these things seem to take ages. I was very impressed with the manner of Michelle who dealt with my call and her efficiency!

Promised to call you back it does not happen.
Left hand don't no what the right hands doing.
Fob you off with anything.
Tell you what you want to hear nothing happens.

Genrally extremly poors service would never enterain going forward.

Do not believe the 5/5 stars they are advertising.

First few months with them and unfortunately my car windscreen cracked.

When I double checked details and asked if they would use the exact original glass manufacturer, I was told Churchill would not cover this cost.
They would use a cheap equivalent.

Not a very good experience. Despite having conversations -several..and being informed C..would phone back...which they did.. to which I responded with my name... I had....yet again..and again..to go over the same ground. The identification?? for '''security reasons''' when in fact common sense would sometimes be a much better approach. ''YOU PHONED ME.... I have requested Churchill to forward my ''no claims'' details along to my next new insurance company... which seems to be a major problem for them. I will attempt to encourage them yet again.... here's hoping with the amount of staff available...they will comply with my request....

Renewed with these for ten years, but the prices aren t going down only up, despite safe lady driver and no claims or faults or accidents whatsoever. If this is looking after your loyal customers I may well have to shift to another insurer for our new Peugeot. Please please review your policy on renewal discounts for loyal customers

Been with churchy for years the advisors are brill...

Been with churchy for years the advisors are brilliant happy and helpful, always polite. I have had one awful quote but on the whole great. Best of all the call centre is in the UK so I can always understand them. :-)

I will never give this company my custom again. Utter incompetence demonstrated by each and every member of staff I had the regrettable experience of dealing with. Staff employed to respond to Twitter enquiries, salve their bored, sad little lives by annoying and baiting customers.

This is specifically about the Pet Insurance part ...

This is specifically about the Pet Insurance part of this company.

When the treatment was over, I sat back and waited for reimbursement. I received a text from Churchill, on 7th October, saying: "....your claim form... will be assessed over the next 2-3 weeks". Then the same text again on 16th October. And again on 28th October. Impressive, eh?
After a phone call to the office, I received a partial settlement; after another phone call, I received final settlement on 29th November.
Now, I'm retired and my kids are grown-up, and I could afford to wait for the money - but if this had happened 20-odd years ago, I'd have been into the bank and up to my neck in credit card debt. It would have been desperate.
So - if you can afford wait over 2 months for thousands of pounds that you are contractually owed, and if you think that's acceptable service from a Claims Dept whose very function is to pay claims - go ahead and insure your pet with Churchill.
And if they want to come at me, I've kept all the documentary evidence.

This company is fraud, who are protected by lawers. Wasting people's time, not helpfull at all. Please read your policy, before sign up with them. Had an accident, did not recieve a courtesy or hire car, even when not at fault and with fully comprehensive insurance

Direct line groups legal services are defrauding their own customers ,if you choose to go with direct line group a warning to you they have bent solicitors who commit criminal acts of fraud against their customers they are untrustworthy deceitful criminals who use organized criminal acts of fraud against their own customers. Michael Thornton is untrustworthy Stuart tait director of dlg legal services who also solicitor and complaints welcome the use of fraud against customers as he stands by his solicitors.. the ceo mr Paul Geddes chief executive officer will not deny the use of fraud against their own customers,that speaks volumes. They all know I have the unequivocal definitive proof of that fraud. Copy and paste this warning to the people of the uk let them know when you need direct line group they can surely commit fraud against you. Stay well clear of the fraudsters. Direct line group consists of privilege, Churchill, direct line, greenflag. Take the warning stay well clear. Do not forget tape all phone call with them ask for subject data request every part of the way.

I was with Churchill car insurance for a year. The customer service advisors are polite and professional but not very friendly to be honest.

Our time with them was pretty straightforward. Just towards the end my windscreen got chipped and when I called to get it repaired they informed me that my NCD would not be affected. What they failed to tell me was that this would be registered as a claim against me and my future premiums for 5 years would be higher.
I couldn't have known this and I think they should have made this clear. It was just lucky that I got it repaired privately after researching this myself. Not everyone has the time or ability to do research and I think that's irresponsible of them.

We had car insurance and breakdown cover with them at a pretty good price but then again our car was a fairly new one.
