Fantastic food but the cashier could be more friendly....I don't think she smiled even once .

Awesome assortment of cheeses. They carry the hard to find bakers cheese.

Food was just okay. Coffee drinks on par with a midgrade coffee house. Employees are not especially friendly. Borderline rude. Not just one of them either.

Wow great place. Lots of fresh foods and drinks. Also take out or dine in.

My husband and I went to Chicago for my birthday and we decided to drive up to Wisconsin for some authentic Wisconsin Sharp Cheddar. As you know the streets are extremely busy, so I googled cheese shops while my husband fought the traffic and West Allis Cheese & Sausage Shoppe caught my attention and we were also really close. The website wasn't working properly in order for me to place a curbside order, so I called in and got the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I can't recall the gentleman's name who helped with the phone order, but he was very polite and helpful. We go our cheese ordered and delivered to our vehicle within 20 minutes. Everything was delicious and packaged so neatly. Unfortunately because of the Coronavirus we couldn't go in to experience everything, but we WILL definitely we visiting again so that we can get the full experience.

Let me preface this with the fact that I am a huge fan of poutine. The breakfast poutine at West Allis Cheese and Sausage Shop is quite possibly my favorite poutine ever. It was rich, decadent, and oh-so-delicious. Crisp fries covered in cheese curds, topped with poutine sausage gravy, and over easy eggs on top. Heaven in a dish!! The only thing that would have made it better would have been if I weren't pregnant and could have indulged in one of their specialty Bloody Mary's. Looks like I'll just have to head back up to Milwaukee in a few months!

Must try this place again.. Nice shop and kitchen. Food is excellent. Ambiance is chill. Poutine...Raclette...Raclette... oMG!

Great place for brunch, the bloody marys are not to be missed, along with the hearty Wisconsin breakfast and grilled cheese creations.

Good Reuben, not as thick as an original easy coast Reuben but the flavors are close , the rye bread it's made with is delicious. Their potato chips are thick, freSh and homemade, surprising addition. Overall a good place for lunch

My wife and I love this place. We get a bloody on the weekends once in a while, breakfast sandwiches are great, and the owner is really funny. I know why they're always busy. Plus, you can go to these little shop and grab some cheese and sausage to go. P.S. the elk sausage was really good.

I go here weekly, low. Acidity coffee, great food, delicious monthly themed specials, and nice little cheese ship connected to it. It's a West allis gem

Food was awesome. Great little deli with tons of things to eat and drink. I asked the girl who served me a ton of questions (being a tourist) and she gladly answered it all. Do not pass up the cheese curds!!

First timer... went here with one of my clients and I loved the way it was setup... the menu is incredible! Something for everyone... food is amazing and fresh and while you wait you can walk over and sample cheeses! I loved that there was an outdoor seating and table area. We met the owner and spoke in regards to his restaurant and how pleased we were. Definitely recommend this spot! Favorites so far: sausage breakfast sandwich with egg and cheese, egg salad and turkey! Freshly made chips were a serious surprise.

Every time I come here I have great service. Food is great and love sitting on the deck in the sun early in the morning

Great food and drinks! Had the Stallis Stacker with homemade potato chips... Delicious. Cheese curds and cheese soup was also fantastic! We bought some jalapeno jam on the way out. Almost bought some blue cheese... next time

Had breakfast here & brought a sandwich home for my Mom. Everything is homemade, & Fantastic! Place has a very comfortable, homey feel to it. The store has all Wisc. based products. Great deli area showcasing all their specialities. Can't wait to go back!

Breakfast was amazing at West Allis Cheese & Sausage! Breakfast poutine, Simma's morning bun french toast and fried summer sausage sandwich with egg. This place is truly outstanding. I had to buy some of the salami for home!

I stopped in here for the first time today, and instantly got hooked! The sandwiches I received were awesome, great meats, fresh cheese and bread, absolutely delicious. Aside from the good eats, the shop is clean, modern furniture, friendly service, and good drink choices to boot! Found a new favorite! ... If you've ever drove by and thought about stopping in, stop being a pansy and DO IT, you won't regret it for a second!

Cheesey, melt delicious selection of sandwiches to choose from along with a small market area of more cheese selections, meat, chips, salsa and sauces, etc.

Decided to stop and have breakfast at this place about 9:10 in the morning to a Crowded House. The only downside of this was that there was absolutely zero service the only thing that was said to us was it's kind of seats yourself we did and had no one talked to us from their ended up walking out

Great restaurant and shop. Family atmosphere about it and everything tastes great. The Reuben and Poutine are some of my favorites. It can get a little cramped during the winter without the patio. The new taproom next door though adds needed space and a fun atomiser for the summer. Wish I lived closer!

I stopped here for brunch with my family and was impressed. The shoppe has a wide selection and the cafe was fantastic. The menu was diverse while featuring Wisconsin cheeses and meats. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We even had the owner serve us coffee and strike up a conversation! I would recommend this cafe to family and friends.
