Wonderful shops ranging from high end to locally made to small knickknacks. Definitely an enjoyable view as you walk down the street browsing and shopping. Only down side was the 30 min only parking meters... I'm sure there is other parking but majority is those meters. 30mins makes it very annoying to run back and forth while trying to shop *especially with children!* but overall it was a very enjoyable time.
Nice place to stroll through on an early Sunday morning.
I really enjoyed walking around this public square at this time of year!
I love all the lights at night it's very beautiful great restaurants.
Brick paved street with restaurants and merchant shops. Centrally located makes it easy to access other popular attractions.
Love this place. Great place to walk, eat, shop. Small park with fountain. Always sidewalk entertainment. Great for dates at night.
I love Church Street cool and friendly always a pleasure
Absolutely love it here! So much to see, so much shopping to be done!
What old fashioned fun to walk the streets, eat, talk, and, of course, shop. Great place for a change of pace. Beats a mall any day.
Tangerine chicken and crispy lemon chicken! As ussual the food was amazing !!! Favorite place in Burlington :)
Delicious atmosphere and food, albeit a little pricey, but eclectic and warm. Wonderful area
One of the most beautiful home town streets in the Northeast.
Love the live music but really need to get the homeless drunk beggars off the street the street performing is amazing the homeless alcoholics that drink on the streets need to be banned. They sit there with begging signs and it takes away from the performances that actually are trying to do something to earn money to make a living doing what they love. Some of the beggars there actually have their own homes and just dress down to make themselves look homeless and pay their bills doing this. Remove the beggars and the plavlce will be amazing.
Daytime: unique shopping Haven, afternoon provides amazing outdoor feasting, and the nighttime bar scene is unbeatable.
Nice spot and lively road on Friday nights. I like the people and their happy mood.
Pretty market space taking up several blocks. Combining classic New England elements with the modern day. Quincy Market: you're getting lazy - step up your game
Charming downtown pedestrian mall with lots of stores, restaurants and the like. I loved looking at the old buildings which had been restored and which are part of the mall now. The mix of stores was very good.
It is a great place to go shopping and hang out. It is such a pretty place to spend time and hang out with family. There is also a great range of restaurants to try out. Church St almost feels like you are in Europe enjoying the old cobblestone streets.
If you enjoy a pedestrian friendly outdoor shopping center full of retail stores and restaurants than this is the place to visit in Burlington.
So many options for food, shopping and even an art gallery !
An extremely walkable bustling section of downtown Burlington with all kinds of cool and quirky shopping.
Fun place to shop, but watch for traffic. (Still not sure why they allow that.)
Church Street is Vermont's answer to Times Square. First of all, it is a great place to walk with your family and/or dog. Speaking of dogs, virtually all shops are dog friendly.
There are some decent restaurants. If you're into Americana, there is the ubiquitous Sweetwater's, while Lunig's does a great interpretation of French dining. My favorite spot by far is E.B. Prime Steakhouse.
At night their are several bars and lounges to go to. I would call the downtown core of Burlington very safe, but I came here from Lowell, MA so...
No cars, can eat and drink outside on tables and chairs provided by owners. Shopping made fun and easy
Great selection of local fruit and veg plus organic
First time my gfs been there. Love the arcetecture and details. Fun walk.
Not for me, crowded and over priced shops and restaurants.
Great food and drinks, I had the John Daly that was great drink. Service is great to.
What a shop. Understabd it is a Co Op. Stocked everything.
I love walking on Church Street with friends in the beautiful weather!
Barely any stores, with five guys it makes the entrance to the mall very small, and crowded when people walk through (it's just a space that's really only fits 2 people to walk through at a time) it's always kind of sad to be in there.
A nice European style pedestrian mall with sidewalk cafes, street musicians, good atmosphere. The only drawback is the number of panhandlers and scruffy people, especially at the lower end of the Street near City Hall.
We are so lucky Church Street was converted into a pedestrian mall. Always warm & welcoming, and we usually run into friends :-)
this is a great place for shopping and dining in downtown Burlington
You can easily spend a day here checking out galleries and eateries. (Don't miss Stone Soup for amazing healthy food.)
Really enjoyed the atmosphere and surrounding on the Church Street. They really did a great job to keep the vitality within the neighborhood in the heart of the town!
Great little downtown area. Lots of good restaurants and specialty shops. Dog friendly! Dint waste time on the mall there though, almost nothing is open in it.
Great place to hang out but be prepared to fend off the grifters that agressively approach anyone standing still for more than a few seconds.
Best place to step on an hiv positive used heroin needle
Great place for food and shopping. Here is always something to see on Church Street.
Good people watching and mix of stores and restaurants. During the summer months a variety of street entertainment brought in by the city for further viewing pleasure..
Nice pedestrian street frequented mainly by the tourists but also by the locals, students, workers. The street section is reminiscent of another era with the architecture of the buildings with which it is lined and the brick pavement. There are restaurants and bars but also shops of all kinds. A must in Burlington.
Wall murals by Persi are beautiful and Summer Saturdays are busy with Farmers market crowd.
We love to park down at the Macy's parking garage and walk up and down Church street. Parking isn't great right around Church street and the mall is currently under construction so you will have to walk outside but Church Street is a great place for boutique shopping and dining out.
Great selection of food and a lot of healthy options.
Fun place to walk around when the weather is good. Sundays are usually good for finding live music.
Great atmosphere, cute shops nice restaurants... next to lake Champlain. Dog friendly! This place is always alive with activity!
