We tried chucks tonight because everyone said they have good steak. I'll start out with the good which included an amazing salad bar and awesome baked potato. Now the bad, they don't even have ribeye. What kind of steakhouse doesn't have ribeye. Second, I ordered new York strip and it was very flavorless. My wife got a new York strip at Dave and Busters the night before and it was amazing. Then the waitress was terrible. She didn't let us know that chives come on the potatoe. My daughter can't have chives all she said butter and sour cream came on them. Then she didn't refill our drinks unless we mentioned them, she didn't mention any flavoring on the steak, or even ask if we wanted steak sauce. We just assumed they didn't have any steak sauce but we saw it as we left the restaurant. I usually don't eat steak sauce on steaks but there steak needed something they are very bland. We won't ever go there again!

Sit upstairs on the patio. Wonderful view of boats passing by. Good was good. Service was excellent.

I am EXTREMELY picky when it comes to how my steak is cooked. I am VERY happy to say that it was done PERFECTLY! Love the atmosphere here! From the moment we walked in the door they were willing to accommodate! Thanks so much for a great time! (and also for not complaining when we got up to dance to our wedding song)

There is a reason a restaurant survives forty years.....in a town where most come and go within a few years. Chucks is a great place for steak. They have early bird specials.....I recommend you get there at 5ish.....especially on the weekends and the height of summer. Try it once.....you will go back.

Early bird special is the best in Myrtle Beach!!! Food and service is impeccable!!!

Service was great, dinner was not. My steak was supposed to be medium rare & it was medium. Wife's prime rib was supposed to be medium & was well done & to salty.

Bruce has the best steakhouse in the area! If you're in Myrtle Beach you gotta visit Chuck's steakhouse! Awesome food , awesome service!

R waiter was Dustin. Nice guy very chatty.my wife's steak was over cooked. I did tell him.the place is nice inside but,we ate on lawn furniture.ihave had better steak at outback

OMG the best steak house I have ever had the pleasure to eat in. The steak was beyond perfect, cooked to perfection, and the service was impressive. I have stopped eating steak because at the best steakhouses that you can eat in have gristle in a Filet. How can you have gristle in a Filet. I don't even bother ordering a New York Strip or a porterhouse because you may as well order a flank steak. This was a treat from a good friend who told me that Chucks is the best ever and I I assure you from a serious steak snob this is the best steak house you can eat in. I can assure you that I will drive the 225 miles one way to chuck's at least three or four times a year to get a real steak.

Came here with my wife our son and daughter. We come here every year one of my favorite steak houses. We sat down immediately At 7:30pm. I ordered the 14oz Sirloin Pittsburgh style(black and blue) with a big beer to wash it down and my wife ordered the crab cakes. Every thing was yummy. While we were waiting for our food we ate off the salad bar and had there port wine cheese. Every thing was great as always!!

This place is pretty good. The salad is good and the steak was good. Price was good for what you get.

One star for the nice atmosphere, one star for the nice waitress who did her job well. The food, well, different story. 3 adults, 2 kids -- no one finished their meal. This steak and chicken can be easily cooked on your grill at home. My expectations were very high based on the prices. Let down to say the least... No way can I give it another try for $200.

I had been unimpressed with many restaurants in the Myrtle Beach area. But my wife and I decided to celebrate our anniversary at Chuck's because we both wanted steak and it did not disappoint. Everything was great, from the awesome salad bar, to the fresh, hot rolls, to the perfectly mixed sweet tea. But then the steak - oh man it was cooked to perfection! It had just enough char on the outside to give it that smokey flavor I love and was extraordinarily tender (I highly recommend the fillet!). My kids also loved it and I was very much surprised at how reasonably priced their kids menu was. $4.95 was all we paid for steak tips and fries for our 7 year old. Our waiter was provided great service and was very knowledgeable about the menu. They also accepted a 10% off coupon we found online, which I wasn't sure was legit (Google it if you plan on going). Chuck's has been around almost 50 years, so they're doing something right.

Not very impressive. Steak was thin and not much flaver. I would have been just as satisfied at Applebee's. Last time I eat here.

A definite stop on our list when we are in town. Love the prime rib and a great salad bar!

Food was Cold and music loud and Rock music, for a nice place music could be softer or even beach music. for the price we paid wasn't to satisfied.people were nice tho .. prime rib was thin and not a good cut .

I see many recent reviews, some of them very good, and I am thinking why we are SO unlucky with this place? Every year we come to the Myrtle Beach, and until 2016 it was not bad at all. But last 3 years our dining with Chuck's is pretty sad experience.
The second year! - Ribs that I ordered I could eat only with tons of the sauce because they were absolutely tasteless. My husband's fillet minion looked like a tiny piece of the hamburger, It was certainly NOT 7 ounces. We were seated next to the kitchen or whatever it was, and felt like dining at the Brooklyn's bus station. Salad bar was more than modest.
Of course, the bill for almost 100 bucks was looking like a bad joke.
I was ready to tell this all to our waitress but she did not even ask anything about our experience. Lovely! I preferred to leave and not come back again.

we sat right in front of cook window. the cook putting food together was not wareing gloves at all . put we had to Ware onr to get salad. after we talked to the general Manger. nothing changed . many major health violation BEWARE

Def recommend. Delicious, juicy steaks, french onion soup was amazing. Absolutely the best deals for kids meals in myrtle beach. I've been to the high end steakhouses in myrtle & don't let this place fool u....it def competes. Also our waiter, Hunter, was amazing.

The dinner was great, the salad bar had an odd odor and was not in my opinion "World Famous." I ordered a strawberry margarita and it must have been made with bottom of the shelf tequila. I could not taste any strawberry what so ever but I for sure could taste the tequila. Waiter was pleasant and main course was good.

Love Jasmine to death. Would go back any time! Great waitress!
