So so. Not what I expected with their ratings. I ordered sirloin which lacked basic spices. Kind of a let down!!

We are transplants that landed here about 3 months ago and I can't even begin to say how happy we are that my husband and I found this place. Our friends came to visit us out of town and we definitely felt the pressure of finding a good place to eat because they are slightly picky to say the least, lol. We haven't really gotten a chance to try that many places to eat so we had to roll the dice and pick somewhere and Chucks is what came up and boy, we were NOT disappointed. Food was amazing and staff were eager to please. We all LOVED it and was a total hit amongst are little group and helped set the tone to a wonderful week with our friends while they were here. Thank you!

Quality of meat not up to par with prices ask for medium basically got well Done over all not bad tasting but the cut of meats used are bout like sale priced steaks at Walmart

Whenever I go down to Myrtle Beach I always ask to go to Chucks. Get as rare as you can! Trust me.

Super interesting architecture. post and beam restaurant. Had an authentic library area to eat dinner.

Don't let the pics fool you. These steaks were super tough and had to be sent back twice because they weren't cooked to our liking. They also had no spice or marinade. One member of our party owns a butcher shop and he said he would not sell this meat in his shop. He pointed out sections of his grossly undercooked New York strip that were markings of a poor piece of meat.

The service also left a lot to be desired. Our waiter would stand by a corner and not check on his tables. At one point he couldn't be found for a while. All of this was pretty ridiculous for the price.

On a positive note, the wine selection was outstanding as was the atmosphere. The cheese matched well too. So go for the wine and cheese.

The steak was pretty good 14 oz New York strip, but I was just surprised they did not have any steak on the bone. I was looking forward to a T-bone or Porter, Food Wishes good and Dustin our waiter was very attentive ... funny guy. Thanks Dustin for the great service!

Food was sooooo good! Finally a place that serves prime rib rare, that is hard to find. The service was great, our waitress was so kind. We really enjoyed the whole feel of the restaurant and you can tell it is a well loved local place.

Wow. I was very surprised at how good of a Steak they serve here. For a semi casual Steak House, you'll be fully satisfied at Chuck's! This restaurant is a staple in Myrtle Beach and it's no surprise why. I had the 8oz Prime Rib old fashioned with some char and it came out perfect they have huge 28oz glasses for the beer of your choice and a lot of decor to look at throughout the whole restaurant. This is a great place to bring the whole family. I give Chuck's Steak House in Myrtle Beach two thumbs up

Had our anniversary dinner here last month and travelled back for my birthday dinner!

Best steakhouse ANYWHERE!! Beats Ruth's Chris hands down and half the price. Best French onion soup anywhere too.

Dusta was a fantastic server. The food was great. The atmosphere was wonderful.

Well our first time here & they were out of baked potatoes & prime rib. Very disappointed ! I've passed by this place for years & when I finally took the time to patronize this establishment I can't get what I want3d to order.

While visiting Myrtle Beach, my husband and I saw a billboard advertising that Chuck's is an award winning restaurant so we decided to try it. So glad! We were seated right away. The decor was fun to look at and I liked the different dining floors. We were seated upstairs and had a birds eye view of the open restaurant and could also see outside. Our waiter appeared immediately and was probably the best we've ever had - friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I can not remember his name, unfortunately. He had dark hair and a goatee if management reads this review. Anyway, he explained there was popcorn, nachos with cheese, and a selection of cheeses and crackers because it was happy hour. We were starving so we enjoyed a taste of each while we looked at the menu. We took the waiter's suggestions and I ordered the teriyaki steak and hubby had the special of the night which was the Columbian steak. We helped ourselves to the salad bar - which was so yummy, while our entrees cooked. My husband's steak was large, perfectly cooked and seasoned, and very tasty. His baked potato was hot and soft. My steak was overcooked and our waiter offered to have another cooked, but we had plans and I didn't want to be late, so I asked that my order be changed to the salad bar only. I had a few bites of hubby's steak, which was more than he would have eaten anyway, and I was well satisfied with my meal, even without my steak. We will definitely return.

Service, drinks, and food were awesome! Our first time visiting and will definitely return. We had prime rib, prime rib sandwich, and salad bar. Cant wait to try more!

Super good. From service to seating and salad bar...this prime rib dinner was most awesome, and our waiter, Louis, was so very nice. Will look forward to another visit next year.

Best pork chop I have eaten in a long time! "Prime center cut pork sirloin". Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. Nice warm environment, good salad bar, fast service, great food, and fairly priced!

This is the first visit that was ok. The food was not as good as normal, with increased prices. Have eaten here for years. This is the first time rating ever below 4 stars.

Food was outstanding...great atmosphere....clean and friendly...my new favorite restaurant

Ribs were tender but not much flavor. Wife got the steak and lobster, steak was ok ..had better at chain steak house, lobster was standard. Service was little slow. For the money we paid not worth it...

Steaks, service and the charm of this retro steak house made Chuck's a great experience. Expect a wait if you come during standard dinner hours.

First time here. We went here for our anniversary. The french onion soup was great. Wonderful salad bar with fresh warm rolls. Our steaks were seasoned and cooked to perfection. Our waiter was Jay, very nice young man. Best server we have come across in a long time. We will be return customers. Highly recommend.

I think I just went in expecting to much so that is my fault. Not that it was bad but I just anticipated a better Prime Rib. The wife's filet was much better. I'd go again.

Best restaurant for happy hour. We are offered two varieties of cheddar, salsa, corn chips and small cookies, free of charge, as part of our aperitif. Following our choice of happy hour menu or regular menu. I recommand it.

Was in the area for 4 days and ate here twice excellent food, best service we had, recommend Erin as a waiter hands the best place to eat at the beach

Oh wow. So full. The steak was mouth watering. You cut into it and can't wait to take the first bite. You will continue until it's all gone leaving you wanting more with no room to put it. Don't miss this place.

Wonderful experience all around. Delightful, knowledgeable wait staff. Relaxing, beautiful atmosphere. Excellent food that both the adults and children thoroughly enjoyed! We could not have asked for a better way to celebrate the anniversary of wonderful parents and the end of our Myrtle beach vacation.

Not very good. Had to send our steak back twice and it still wasn't cooked right..wait staff was to bus trying to clean up for the night to refill our drinks. Won't be going back there

Had a wonderful meal including dessert..Highly recommend the Mucho Margarita and Key Lime pie. Our waiter was Dylan and he was awesome! Steaks were cooked perfect with good chare, tender and juicy...no sauce needed.

Though it was pretty decent. I liked the salad bar, but the jumbo crabcakes wasn't so jumbo.

((In short: Food and waiting time is great, and the room is crazy interesting.)) Food was GREAT quality, steak and pork was very well done. Atmosphere was very interesting and worth the visit. There's household furniture in addition to hunting heads and bodies scattered in all angles. Photos of animals hang EVERYWHERE. When I went, we went when happy hour had just started, where many elders came. Service was great and the people had kind personalities.

Best steak I have had in years. By far the best steak on the beach! Salad bar was good and well maintained. I highly recommend it!

Very expensive but when you taste, WOW, the food is outstanding!

bad steak ordered 14 ounce steak sirloin got a round chunk didn't even look like a steak looked like a roast tip.this place doesn't deserve one star.

Went there for Father's Day dinner and everyone's food was excellent. We will be back.

Always on point, great happy hour menu with large seating space. Salad bar is wonderful, I would reccomend not doing the beef tips they tend to not be tender more than they are tender...every other item I have tried is on point

My experience seemed discriminating because of my handicap.
Normally I would never write about my experience alth this world is getting critical so let me join in to express my views. First they put me in a back room where it was dark while other people were in the lighted area. I had to request to be put in the lighted room with the fireplace which was beautiful.

The environment at Chuck's steak house is absolutely beautiful!

The waitress at first seemed confused about her job waitressing. Questioning about the dinner specials and drink specials she was clueless.
When the dinner meal arrived, the waitress brought over hot rolls to redeem herself, I thought. Good job.

Had an amazing experience, food was great and our server John was by far one of the best I have had. We had a large party of 15 people and he took incredible care of all of us. Highly recommend them!

Gotta love Chuck's. It never disappoints in quality of the food or the exceptional service and the ambiance is wonderful. Had another great dinner tonight on our last night of vacation. Looking forward to next time.

This place is just okay. We've been here about six or seven times; only once was our steaks cooked right. Tonight, both steaks were way overcooked, potatoes were not fully done and they were cool (butter wouldn't melt). The best thing about Chuck's is their salad bar ... really the only reason we go back. Service is great, but they need to work on the temperature of steaks given that their specialty is steaks.

We live in ohio and vacation in Myrtle beach every summer. One of our main highlights is our vacations is going to Chuck s Steakhouse at least twice if not more during our vacation. We just heard that you will be closing permanently. We are so sad about this. EVERYTHING at your restaurant is amazing!!! The ribs, steaks, wings, burgers, shrimp, even the cheese and crackers during happy hour are sooooooo so fantastic!! We will miss you!! Thank you for the many fabulous meals you prepared or us!!

We waited an hour and 15 minutes to be seated on a Saturday night, but it was worth the wait. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and were melt in your mouth good. My husband and son had the Teriyaki Sirloin and it was really good. I enjoyed the New York Strip and my dad had the sirloin, again they were delicious. My two youngest sons ate from the children's menu and their cheeseburger and baby back ribs didn't disappoint. Katharine was our waitress and she did a fantastic job. Our cups were never empty and she made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely visit again the next time we are in town!

We have passed by this place for years and saw that it was reopened. We decided to try it out, and we were not disappointed. The steaks were amazing, and the potatoes were large. Will be coming back.

Ribs were" fall off the bone " good. Burger was larger than average, will definitely return.

Chucks is such a friendly place, servers are awesome , food is excellent, never had to return a dish for any reason. We never felt rushed. Hoping they reopen, would be very disappointed if they don't!
