I wish there was a less rating than 1 star. Chrysler Financial has put all of my payments into interest for whole 8 months. I mean... what the hell!!!!

I sent a check over $8000 to pay off my Jeep, the people failed to send me my title by putting my apt number even though I wrote it originally. That's fine, people make mistakes, but the fact that now the auto system literally will not let me through to a human being because I don't have an active account so none of my info pulls anything up so I keep getting roadblocked since the system cannot now recognize anything from me. So I literally cannot make these bozos aware of mailing my title to the wrong address.
They said that I missed my car payment and I don t .. I did make my car payment they took out the money for my account I have a text message that says they took it out of my account
Unbelievable interest rates I've been paying on my car over three years on a 6 year note of 22 thousand dollars and as of 7/27/2017 I still have over 19 thousand on it. In order for me to get out of it is to let it go or fork out the 5 to 6 thousand + down payment on another vehicle. Their should be a law for crooks like this.
I actually loath their policy. They charge me some 'fee' for thousands of dollar absolutely without my consent. Just simply put the charge in my bill. It's like buying a meal in Burger King and two days later they send you a bill for the napkin. Last time buying anything Chrysler.

My auto loan was paid off over 5 months ago and Chrysler Capital still hasn't released my title to me. Contacting them only results in the erroneous advice to either waste more money with a scam company, $17 at GetMyCarTitle.com, to get my title released or $2 at the Texas DMV. I wasted $2 only to find out that Chrysler Capital couldn't be bothered to release the ELT, electronic lien title, although the loan has been satisfied MONTHS ago. Chrysler Capital is either completely incompetent or getting a kickback from GetMyCarTitle. I wouldn't recommend Chrysler Capital to my worst enemy. ZERO stars!
EDIT: after multiple additional phone calls they've finally released the ELT and I have received my clean title
So after waiting for 2 hours and 17 minutes to talk to Chrysler capital financial department, since I didn t like their employee s attitude I asked for a manager, she picked up the phone then hung up immediately. The only think I heard her name was Kimberly. She never called me back. Seriously? I work hard to pay this horrible human beings? Not to mention the Jeep itself is a cheep car but my monthly payment is really high. Just horrible
My husband has mailed two letters requesting a release of lien for our car. Today I decided to phone and actually talk to someone. The press 5 option for requesting a release of lien will not connect!!!!! I'm sick of this. You people are inept and rude!

they say they are here to help, not so true, asked for extention for the first time they refused, asked if my car payment could get reduced, they refused, Just where is the help is. next time I will know better than to use this again. But, then I spoke to a very nice understanding man in managment and he helped me out a great deal. I just dont think the people answering the phone has a great deal to work with. I did get the help I was asking for and I really did need it, so thanks chrysler for stepping up to the plate.
Terrible people. Not knowledgeable about their own procedures. I would never recommend using them to finance anything! If you do then keep very good track of everything because they will try to get more money from you!
Don't know why I'm reading all these bad reviews, I never had a issue out of them. There was a time where a hurricane wiped our home out and we needed to hold off on some payments.. didn't get any harrassment calls , they worked with me in getting caught up. I definitely will be getting my next vehicle thru them ..
I should have read the tons of bad reviews about Chrysler Capital before my car loan with them. As I paid off the loan completely, they drug their feet for 14 days, while my care buyer waited to register the vehicle as the new owner. At that point the finally allowed the state to release the title, which can take up to 14 days later. Their customer service reps lied about being able to send proof of title upon pay off. They will do NOTHING by email to assist the customer or the new buyer. STAY AWAY FROM CHRYSLER CAPITAL!!

Horrible company, it's basically a dinosaur financial with no current technology or customer service. STAY AWAY. I had my account on autopay and was charged different amounts as they pleased without any notice, and got hit with late fees; customer service answered with some weird company name that said they couldn't do anything. Don't ruin your credit without any fault of your own; Ally was a much better company and worth the extra couple of dollars a month.
The account was paid in full about a 9 month ago still have not send us the title and called CSR they said i have to take a day off to go to DMV and do the work my self ... this companey really bad please dont do buss. with this company...

Every single time I talked to somebody with this company I got a different answer. I had cancer and went thru a category 4 hurricane and this company would not do a thing to help me. Chrysler Capital plays hardball with loans. Go past due on their Car loans that always are equal to a rent or mortgage payment and they demand full price paid, NON-Negotiable. Refuse to look at issues with the car like non locking gas doors when the vehicle is locked where gas was being siphoned that caused me lost business. Dealer was working on it but Chrysler Capital did not care about circumstances.
As well, they do not follow Arizona Laws for reposessions and subsequently the auction notice required by AZ Law.They would not offer me a reasonable iffer to correct my circumstances and demanded $30,000.00 that's right, 30k to get the vehicle back. Non-Negotiable.They just kept referring to the contract that cannot override Arizona Reposession Laws. A loan shark would be better. They are like Jesse James without a gun.
They asked me for the social security number four times (it was correct) and still acted like I was the wrong person. I had to repeat myself a total of five times and be transferred to the automated service just to pay my truck payment.

I swear these people make it impossible to pay them. Their website is incredibly difficult to use and looks like it hasn't been updated since 1990. They charge ridiculous amounts of money to make payments over the phone. Trying to make an extra payment without messing up my automatic payment program was actually impossible to do through them. I had to go through my bank. I would not recommend Chrysler Capital at all.

They have helped me a lot with the medial issues in 2018 and losing my job in 2017. I would have lost my car if they didn't work with me. I am glad they have helped. Few times I have had some bad customer services but can't let a few bad apples mess up your day.
I pay over the required amount and specifically allocate to principal. They apply to interest. Have submitted 7 reallocation requests and a complaint to their "office of the President" still nothing resolved. All of a sudden they reallocated everything wrong and Im now 39 days past due. They can go to hell. I'm trading in the car.
Do not finance your vehicle thru Chrysler Capital, This is the worst experience I have ever had thru a finance company. I paid my loan off and of course there was an over payment. It has been 6 weeks and I still have not received my over payment. When I called customer service they said to me that it takes a couple of months for them to release it and THEN they said it does NOT come in a form of check but a VISA CHECK CARD. This place is absolutely the worst, never again will I finance thru them. If it requires to finance thru them to get the REBATE then I will not buy a JEEP.

I finance beginning in 2016. In November of 2018 I trade in that vehicle for a newer vehicle. I knew at this time I should never have financed through Chrysler Capital again but I gave them another chance. Well 2 weeks later I receive a phone call saying I am late paying on the old vehicle. I spoke with them immediately and discussed the trade in. When talking to the women she was rude and confrontational with me. I spoke with the dealership I bought the new car from. They had paid them and showed proof of payoff. It s been a little over 2 weeks and I received a derogatory remark of late payment on my credit report. It decreased my credit 11 points. Now they refused to take care of the mistake they have created. They now want me to write a letter disputing that remark. I know it s easy but it s the fact that I have to fix their mistake while dealing with rude, obnoxious, and horrible customer service while doing it. Anyways pass it on!! Don t do any business with Chrysler Capital!!!!! You ll regret it!!!!!! They have absolutely no communication between departments or with customers. They do not support you during the lease period. My truck was broken for 4 months. I was forced to drive a much lesser quality rental vehicle and still required to make full payments. Santander Consumer USA, Inc. is technically the owner and has responsibility. The turn in process is predatory and unfair. This company is to be avoided.

Waiting 2 months to receive my title . Was told it'll take 2 months for the state to send my title. Called this morning to be told I was suppose to go to DMV and request title change. Then my title still has to be sent to state and I have to wait another 2 months to wait for my title. Talked to several employees here apparently all I talked to are incompetent to do their job. We will be calling better business bureau.
My now wife and I needed a vehicle. We went to Reno Dodge in Reno, Nevada. She wanted a manual car because we lived in the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. We wanted to have an American brand car that we could afford on a minimum budget. After the draining of the sales process in the dealership, we left with the car. 5 miles down the road the car engine blew up. We called them and they said have it dropped off. We told them we needed a car to drive. They didn t give us one. The very next day we told them we did not want the car. They threatened us and told us they would drop the broken car off in our driveway. They forced us to take another car and made us sign a new contract without seeing the car. After seeing the false income on the new application we, figuring it would make it null and void, called Chrysler to get the loan reversed. They said they couldn t. The dealership said it was already funded. We left. They called us when the new car came. We didn t go pick it up. They delivered the car and dropped it off. We were in distress. We signed a paper and then the heartaches began. To add insult to injury, they crushed us with a 13% interest rate when we had 680 fica scores. The payment book came in with $490 payments. We tried to trade out of the car. The car was $10,000 negative the day it was delivered to us. Since then, the car s clutch has went out three times. The pcv valve blew out and threw oil everywhere. The speakers have gone out and had to be replaced. We have been in a rental more than our car. We tried lemon law however because we moved from one side of the country to the other we had too many miles. We do not beat our car up. It is in almost perfect condition. We now cannot afford this vehicle 3 years later. This $490 payment has driven my wife to tears everytime Chrysler calls. Today they called and told us to try and trade it in. This again adds insult to injury.
After changing lease vehicles and paying off my balance, Chrysler Capital calls me 2 years later to request that I pay off charges. No one can explain what the charges are for or why the bill is being generated 2 years after being informed my balance was paid and this is also 2 years after releasing the vehicle back to Chrysler. Very unprofessional. I m dissatisfied with the lack of clarity on this matter, lack of leadership to go the extra mile for better customer service and lack of resolution. I ve been a Jeep owner for maybe over 18 years but I think it s time for change.
Literally kept stalking me saying i had to pay for july. I paid them and they continued to say i owes them for that month they have taken at least an extra $700.00 from me and the money never reflected in my account

The principal and interest fees are just about the same as your dang car payment and they add on fees....I can not wait till I'm done with them and no I would not recommend anyone buy a car from Dodge, Chrysler or JEEP because they finance through the same company! Please if you have your own bank or credit union finance through them! I should be able to send money and pay off any other fees that I chose to pay towards on "MY" car payment, but no they decide on where my freaking money goes...Nope not with this woman...I decide, not some car finance company!!

Called to explain reason for late payment and ask for an extension. The representative was rude, uncaring, and would not explain his rationale for denying our request. Management needs to listen in on calls and improve their customer relations. Oh, had to call back 3 times because of disconnecting for a total of 2 hours trying to resolve this. Customers should not be treated in such a manner.

Chrysler capital is by far the worst company I have ever had to deal with and unfortunately I say that with out sarcasm. I have only had my loan with Chrysler for 4 months - keep in mind I have made all 4 monthly payments on time. In February I accidentally changed my pay date from the 12th of the month to the 15th when I was scheduling a payment online. I meant to post date my payment for the 15th - not change each month to the 15th. At the time - it was something I could deal with. Then I got a new job and a new pay schedule. I called Chrysler and asked if they could change my pay date from the 15th to the 30th, now that i have a new pay schedule. They explained they can only change the due date once in the lifetime of the loan. I told them I was really sorry and I never meant to actually change the date of each monthly payment - but now also I needed it changed regardless because I did not receive my paycheck until the 30th of each month. Not only did i speak with 6-8 different people, I was given wrong information on 2 different occasions and was told they understood accidents happen and that life happens....and they would change my pay date for me. Weeks go by and my pay date never changed. So i call again (the second occasion) ----not only to speak with several different people over the course of a few days in regards to this matter, but i finally got the phone number to the complaint department and spoke with someone directly. After speaking with, Kimal....he told me that he could change my pay date after he spoke with someone in his department. He told me to three way call my father (whose name the loan is under) and made us do a recording stating that we gave Chrysler Capital permission to change the pay dates from the 15th to the 30th. Kimal and I did this recording on 3/30/18 and he told me they would get that information on 4/2/18. 4/3/18 comes and I get a phone call from Chrysler telling me that they cannot change my pay date, AFTER ALL OF THIS! ----they even have a phone recording of this change and the woman i spoke with today now tells me that as she is instant messaging with Kimal and that he said to me it was not a guarantee and that he was submitting a request on my behalf, WHICH WAS NOT THE CASE......keep in mind I am a brand new client, all my payments have been on time and ALL I AM ASKING FOR IS SOMEONE TO CHANGE MY DUE DATE and they refuse! I understand in Chrysler's "fine print" that they only change the due date of your payments once in the lifetime of the loan. BUT...Chrysler refused to accept that I ACCIDENTALLY changed my due date but they also refused the fact that I got a new job and I cannot control my pay schedule. Soooooo....the outcome from CHRYSLER is now that they cannot do anything to help me AND they are going to assess A $25.00 LATE FEE EACH MONTH now since my payments will be made on the 30th and they will not change my due date from the 15th. I have 46 more months left to go on this loan and with $25.00 being charged additionally each month - that adds up to $1,150.00 extra that I will have to pay because Chrysler is a non courteous and non accommodating company to their clients. SOUNDS LIKE A WAY TO JUST MAKE A LITTLE EXTRA MONEY TO ME........I will be glad when my loan is over with this company....and if am capable of finding a different bank to take over this loan before it ends, it will be the first decision and opportunity i take, because Chrysler Capital is horrendous. I ADVISE ANYONE LOOKING INTO THIS COMPANY --- DO YOUR RESEARCH AND TRY AN ALTERNATIVE COMPANY, THAT TREATS THEIR CLIENTS LIKE ACTUAL HUMANS AND UNDERSTANDS THAT LIFE HAPPENS.
I have been with Chrysler Capital since 2014-present and if I could rate a 0, I would. Here's my problem with them, they DO NOT REFINANCE, the website to login into your account bugs out and you gotta keep calling for them to send a temp password because for some reason the info that I inputted when I first signed with them is wrong and I've called about this issue at least 4 times and it still is happening. I would not recommend lending with them. Find someone else. This company sucks.

This company 3 times has told me I had a missed payment and I showed them proof that I had paid everyone, they told me they never got it due to a computer glitch! They repossessed my car because I supposedly missed December's payment, never heard from them and they won't believe that I paid it, even after my bank faxed over all of my payments to Chrysler showing that I had paid every month that for the past 2 years including this past December's! Don't ever get a loan through Chrysler! They will steal your money and will refuse to help you! Horrible customer service as well!

The worst in the business. Do NOT use this company. Their website is a joke. They overcharge you every time you turn in your lease car. It is a racket. You have to be a lawyer to fight anything. Make sure you are there for the inspection to challenge them or they will legally screw you over on your bill. The customer service is awful. I don't have a good thing to say about them. Terrible bank to finance a car with I had a crash like two months ago an 18 wheeler hit me and I had to get the check sign by them and me in order to pay the guy from the dealership since he fixed my car and it s been over a month and I still haven t got the check back sign by Chrysler capital my car has been fixed already and I m just waiting on the check but everytime I call to customer service they tell me a whole different thing they never really know what s going on . They keep telling me one thing and switching up the next time I called them it s very frustrating dealing with this bank and they expect you to pay your monthly payment on time but how can I do so when they holding back the check that I need to get my car that I use to get to work .i been loosing work because of this issue and I can t get my car back because they won t send the check to the body shop .I would never again finance anything with Chrysler Capital.
So difficult to get a live person to talk to. Once you do they cant take care of your problem. Transfer you and you get hung up on. We had a claims issue and they Kept $1700 that should have went to the principle instead I guess they think it was a gift. Put you on hold then go to Break?
I'm writing this and have been on and off of hold for 38 minutes. Now the 1700 is in a holding pattern for the past 3 months, they said they weren't sure what to do with it. This recent Harvard graduate will put a request in to accounting to have it applied to the principle. But they wont send a verification I Have to call back to find out. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!

Purchased a 2020 Dodge Ram 1500 Rebel from Lithia April 24. I have had to call twice a week or more to fix simple solutions over the past 9 weeks. Below is a list of items I have had and the solution/ result.
My complaint (short story) with Chrysler Capital and the dealership is the overage charge when I bought the vehicle. The dealership over estimates the final cost so they don t have to ask for more money from you later. I totally understand. They calculated the overage and submitted it to Chrysler Capital on my behalf. The dollar amount went towards the principle. For a loan that has 0% APR, like mine, it makes no sense. You don t see that money until your final payment. I requested that money be allocated to my first payment and I would pay the remaining balance. It was declined twice. After going in circles with Chrysler Capital and the dealership over the past 4 weeks, there is is no resolution to this situation. I gave them a total of four options and all options from both dealership and Chrysler Capital were rejected at this point.
A follow up review will be posted with an update of the unresolved situations.

And I have a legitimate problem there system is outdated and continuous charging my account and they said it's nothing they can do about it after they still got paid!
After over a year of impeccable payments I asked for a re-fi. NO. So I decided to be done with them. Got my pay off amount, paid my car off and now all of a sudden I still owe them money!!!!! These people are CROOKS! If I could give them NO STARS I would!
This place, the Chrysler located on Skillman, is absolutely terrible! I hated it! I went there on Saturday and noticed there was a slash in one of my back tires. I asked them to change that one tire for nearly $300; the old hag who was supposed to be helping me, Kim parnhart, was absolutely horrid! She was so rude, refused to give me a quote, kept rolling her eyes at me... it was the worst experience and customer service I have ever had. She needs to get fired, that was too bad. After waiting for over 3 hours, I finally get my car back and things are missing from my car and she never got the tire alignment I asked her to do done. Not only that, the same tire they supposedly replaced blew out, completely, in the middle of the highway on the HOV lane on Tuesday Morning (at 6:20 AM, on my way to work). That is TWO days after I just paid $300, over 3 hours, and -alot of patience to get it changed. NO WAY; I had to let the manager know as well. She's got to go.
They paid a scam invoice from a city and back charged me the fees without even notifying me or asking if the charges where valid... I would not recommend using them at all if you like your money to be yours! If it happens again I'm taking them to court.

It was okay I must say the rep I spoke with today listened some what. I am more disappointed with the dealership that I got my car from. They were awful. When I said I wanted a different car it was ridiculous.They made a big deal out of it said it was the weekend and they was ready to go, I wish I had my cell phone out. I went to their sister company and well..... Please know that when buying a car, people do not care about you at all . I am so tired of dealing with car sales people. This company needs sensitivity from the top all the way down to their sales people and support team. How are you going to deal with the public and not care about the public?
Worst, most illegal crooks out there tried to take my car by towing it and auctioning it off before I could get it back so I would be on the hook for the rest of the payments while they sell the car to someone else. Not only is this the worst place to finance through, the car lots that recommend them dont give a damb about you either.If you could give them negative stars they would owe 2 million of them

I will never ever lease a car from Chrysler Capital again. I paid my statement balance in full on my first payment. The balance was 20$ less then what i was told it would be. The second statement came in and it was 20$ more than what it should be with no notes. I called to see what was going on because no where on the statement did it say why it went up so much. They told me it was because they charged my taxes wrong. So on my first statement they charged me $2.09 in taxes and listed my taxes at 5.6% and then on the second statement they charged me $44.49 in taxes but at a tax rate 5.567%. They told me my taxes went up. I informed that they were not at 10% which is what they were charging me. They said that there is nothing that they are able to do even though it is their fault and admitted that they agreed with me. Please do not use Chrysler Capital, they will try and rip you off in whatever way possible. I only gave one star because i had to give a star.
Customer service never answers. Loans are terrible. Even high risk loan companies won't even refinance a Chrysler Capital loan.
Chrylser Capital is the absolute worse, I wouldn't recommend anyone get a car financed thru this company at all. I literally hate this company, they have blown my phone up multiple times regarding my account being past due when it was on automatic withdrawl and not to mention the rates are EXTREMELY HIGH, if you're purchasing or leasing a vehicle and you're told Chrysler Capital is approving the loan, PLEASE DON'T SIGN THE PAPERWORK
Terrible company. Absolutely terrible. In house dodge financing sounds great until you spend $90k on a $40k purchase. Absolutely the biggest mistake of my life. Fortunately I made enough money to get out from under their guarantee life long debt deal.
With all the bad reviews I'm going to leave a good one when the government shutdown a few years ago they really helped me out knowing I work a job were I get paid federal money. Alot of times if you just talk them they can help. Thanks again!
If you purchase a new vehicle, you believe there would be no issues. Purchased 2018 Charger Blacktop on 02/13/18 from Huffines Chrysler Dodge in Plano TX. The dealership is worthless and clueless. General Manager Scott Milsap is silent and does no proactive mitigating when a customer is clearly unsatisfied with a product or service offered at this location. I should have known better than buying a vehicle from Chrysler!! Now I am currently involved in arbitration litigation as well as TX DMV Lemon Law complaint. Within (3) months of having this vehicle a brand new transmission needed to be installed after waiting (2) months for some resolution. I kept paying my car note during this time.
Now, the problem is Chrysler Capital could care less if the car works or not. You escalated to their office of consumer practices, which is no help at all. I have offered to return the vehicl early on amd should have just dropped it off, but TX laws are real picky concerning issues like this. (5) visits to their plano dealership for this problem and no resolution. They feel new transmission and I should just go away...
Oh, I found out Chrysler Capital name is being used by I suspect Santander USA, BUT when you sign the sales contract that is not disclosed.

This place is a joke and highway robbery. Do not use these jokes to finance. Im sure what they are doing to ppl is illegal. They charge way higher interest rates even when your credit is over 700. Its ridiculous. They do not wrk with you whatsoever. I hate this company.

They break their contract by deciding where your overpayment goes. They pay it towards interest instead of the principle. They add outrageous fees if you re 6 days late on a payment. The people tend to have a nice attitude, but the loans are literally scamming you. My APR was a set 5% at purchase as agreed, now they want to charge 13% APR!
Nothing says I hate my customers like making them pay a fee when paying a truck payment all because you have to pay it over the phone. Should've bought a Chevrolet.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. Very disorganized and transfer you around, once you're on hold, your call gets dropped. Also, financially is the worst, they delay to pay your vehicle trade-in and delay to update your pay-off. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO USED ANOTHER FINANCIAL INSTITUTION.
I had a dodge dart for three years that had a recall on it before I actually bought the brand new car in 2016. Upon having my car breakdown late one evening and towed to my home, the tow truck driver alerted me that he had seen this issue quite often on Dodge Darts (gear shift stop working). A week later is when I found out about the recall that should have been repaired before I ever bought the car! After going back to the dealership for help with the repair, I m told that Chrysler has no parts and they have been out of parts for some time and did not know when they would receive parts! That s when I decided to buy a new car, not knowing how I d be able to get to work. This was in August. My financing did not get completed until October. The dealership asked if I would bring them the first payment; I thought this was strange and I told them so. I still took a payment in that was posted October 8. Now I m getting calls about an October payment I thought was already made. The Bill didn t come untl after the 14th of October, which is when I was supposed to make payment, according to Chrysler Capital. I have never bought a car and had to make two payments in one month! What I need in to get out of this mess with this company ASAP!!! This is truly a ridiculous situation I feel like I m dealing with an imitation of a financial institution! This cannot be real!
